Ok guys I have a silly little question. My brother was reading our horoscopes from the Gayly oklahoman and I asked him who wrote the horoscopes for the mag and he told me it was the author of...Queer astrology for men and Queer astrology for women. I thought that was bizaar. My brother said he thought it was different for the sexes???? What do you guys think? I am no astrology buff so I have no clue. I just had never thought of it personally. Let me know your thoughts on the subject. Thanks!!

I've studied astrology for 10 years and have never heard of such. *shrug* Of course, male and female energies do differ, so that's going to affect the outcome of anything.

The Moon is considered a feminine luminary and the Sun, the masculine. In a woman's chart, you can look to the Sun and aspects made to it by progressed and/or transiting planets to see what may portend in her relationships with men. In a man's chart, one would look to the Moon to see they types of relationships with women might be upcoming.
It may be the aspects from the progressed and transiting Sun to the natal Sun that this gay astrologer is looking to in male/male astrology and aspects from the progressed and transiting Moon to the natal Moon in female/female.

I wonder sometimes if a man is gay...if he has a little more of a feminine principle to him. (Like my brother-in-law) I wonder if he doesnt take on more traits of the Goddess and I wonder if this would affect readings ?

Astrologically, a man being gay is related to connections with the planet Uranus (no pun intended); the life prinicple of this planet is deviation.
Uranus, psychologically is the urge to deviate from the norm. Think of Uranus being the 1st planet beyond the boundary traced by Saturns's restrictive orbit. and we see a clue to the symbology or Uranus. It represents a breakaway force from the rigidly controlled, a revolt, a drmatic flash of genius, inuition, unorthodoxy.
The change in life of both sexes is closely linked with the Moon-Saturn-Uranus cycles; during the age period of later life in which both the progressed Moon and transiting Saturn for the second time and transiting Uranus for the first time, will oppose their respective positions in the birth chart.
Interestingly it is said that gay men and women have a strong connection to spirit as the uranus principle corresponds to the pineal/third eye, the sourse of seership and psychic clairvoyance.
