I read that you use the different herbs for different dreams ,, colors of the pillow to ..

Can you use "Powder Cinn." in place of Cinn. stick .. would it work as well???

I don't see why Cinnamon powder wouldn't work in place of stick, (I frequently use it for incense when I don't have stick...) Lavender is another lovely choice for a dream pillow. What exactly are you striving for? What sort of dreams do you desire? I'm certain that you already aware of this, but for the benefit of others wishing to make dream pillows, I've taken the liberty of posting the magical properties of cinnamon and lavender.

well, it sounds as though you're right... the cinnamon just about covers everything you seek. As far as how I use the cinnamon powder for incense; I purchase those nifty little charcoal tabs (special self-lighting kind, not bbq charcoal.) and as I grind up the herbs I need, I empower them as I grind and as before I burn them on said charcoal. I also use candles and other enhancing objects, too.

Oh darn i just thought of one more thing ,, When putting the different herbs in my pillow do i mix them all together,,, or add them in seperatly??
I only Have old soft jammies and Towels To use for stuffing should i like wrap and bind herbs to keep them in tack and do i need to replace herbs from time to time ?? DO you ??? :) Hugsssss

Oh Yes I do get out my Love Is In The Earth daily and ask questions of guidence there also ,, They are new Deck and I Just Love em I sleep with them under my Pillow as well has inhanced my Dreams when i do ,, If you would Like and wouldnt mind , I would like to practice a Reading for you .... Oh, duh! Again your little fingers were quicker than mine...

Cotton is good, cut it into the shape you want--large square is good--makes it easier to manipulate circles can be a difficult. Fold it down the middle and turn the cloth inside out. Use sewing needles to temporatily keep the sides together. Then sew together (by hand or machine) three sides, leave the fourth open to pour in herbs. Mix and crush the herbs. (I like to empower the herbs too) Oh, and to avoid of herbs poking through try to crush them thoroughly--powder it if you can. Once you have the right consistency (use your own judgement based on comfort level) fill the herbs into the pillow trying not to overfill it. You can try lying on before you seal it to feel when it is comfortable then if you are ready and it is comfortable and won't cause your to wake up during the night (think the princes and the pea here!) sew the last open side and shake the filling. Enjoy!

oh, and some folks like to keep a dream journal to go with the pillow... just a thought!

Oh yes I have A Dream Journal ,, Had dream of spider and womens face after i was wanting to put face to Diana ,,, had to add that dream to journal ,, although i asked for hepl to know if spider i dreamed of , was my spiritual guide or was it someone else's entered my dream to bring me message if so what was the message?? but i cant tell these things yet and didnt get no answer to that question on my thread I did on it and is another reason i am making Dream pillow ,, For help from dities to help me better decifer my dreams ,,,

Oh yes i have thought about growing my own herbs,,, i am glade you asked that ,I just dont know what to start with and what grows easiley,,,I plan to have whole buch of my own by next summer starting indoors till nice enought to plant outside..I will surly need help with that though ,,,lol,
Theres a Goddess shop right down the road here ,, i got idea one day ,,
mabe i could make crafts and sell there seems to be lots of people around visit the Goddess shop thought about asking the lady there if i gave her moneys from it if i could make crafts usefull to the path ,,, Mabe even personalized Dream pillows With zipper, to add herbs and stone Have space available for there name or what they would like there pillow to say ,,,??? ok I just had to share this ,, My three boys just had to have there pillows befor bed last night i tryed sowing fast as i could,,, got my youngest a white pillow with blue moon and I was trying to sow on the next pillow,, he kept coming back mommy will you draw a butterfly on my pillow ,, i said you want a butterfly ,
he says yea ,i say ok give me the pin,,, he does runs off happy as can be when i was done ,, here he comes again ,, what now alex i say ,, he looks at me mommy draw me a sun up here in the corner ,,, and a shouting star coming from the moon ,, i say is that all ,, he says yea thanx mommy ,,,, After i finished that for him he added his own peace signs ,, some hearts his own butterfly and his shouting star by mine ,,
he was so proud and i said boy i cant wait for bedtime ,, He says ME TO Mommy,Brings me back the pillow ,,Oh i am not done yet,,,,??? he says no mommy you have to sign your name here at the bottom in the corner ,,,lol:) ,,,

oh yea there pillows was donr enough for them to take to bed (Just have to do designs) when they woke up this morning i asked them , wel did you have good dreams ,, I told them befor they went to bed expecially Alex ,, That if they thought of all good things they would have good dreams ,,,
This morning Alex says when i asked ,,Yes Mommy i had all good dreams ,, i smiled and asked greg well what about you ,, he says i dont remember ,,, Isaac says he didnt dream at all ,,,lol,,, They think it is cuz alex's is done and there' is Not ,, I had to smile again ,,, Kids ,, gotta Love em ,,,, :) Told them that your dreams are not in the pillow they all all in you& In your itty bitty head,, what you hold inside,,,, if you try tonight in your dreams mabe you can fly ,,, they laugh at me ,,,MOM they say, and walk off ,,,lol,,:) Merry Part

Great to hear that you are thinking of buying your own herbs! I'm not the best gardener, but I have found it to be easy. I just get herbs at the nursery and plant them in a bed outside or a pot.

So do your boys have nightmares? If I ever have nightmares, I try to think of peaceful thoughts the following night in order to avoid them. To promote tranquility, I prefer lavender and chamomile. :)

Hey ladies... Lamoondove it is wonderful to see the progress you have made with the dream pillow--looks great! I think you are a wonderful mom to be able to persuade your children to join you--I can see that beautiful picture in my mind's eye...and it's very special!

Well, don't feel bad--I buy all of my herbs, too. I am a rotten gardner and have been diagnosed with a black thumb... I even killed a mint plant! Everyone I tell says, "How can you kill mint?" So, I have to buy my herbs--I have come to terms with my inadequate gardening skills. What's funny, is that I would LOVE to be able to garden properly. Goodness, I'm even worse with sewing! I find this quite odd considering I can paint, draw, sculpt, create jewelry and do other cool artsy stuff...

So, how has your dream pillow worked out for YOU--sounds like the boys have had very positive experiences with theirs... I would love to learn how yours worked for you. Keep us posted!

Good evening Ladies..

Yes i am doing reasearch in the green room i think it is how to start and grow my own herbs..:) ...:) I come on tonight to send a fellow friend a reading he didnt ask for ,,,lol,,:) Had to come here and catch ya up ,, Is the funniset thing i dont have to purswade my boys on anything ,,:) :) :) :)
they came home seen my pillow ,, that was it ,,lol they had to have one ,, my youngest use to have bad dreams or mabe he just wanted to sleep with mom ??? sometimes i think it was the latter ,, But it tickles me to no end that they want to be and do as I ,,,, Oh i love them boys with all my heart ,, I had to cut and sow a car to add to one pillow tonight ,, oh cool look what mom did they are sleeping on them tonight i will take more pics of them in morning ,,, :)

My pillow ,, well i havent seen the ladys face or the spider again yet ,, i medatated last night to see animal guide in dream didnt happen ,, but i have had peacefull calm dreams ,,, havent had any of great meaning yet ,,,,YET i say ,,, lol :) i am a dertemended ol soul ,,,:)

Good Day,, I slept rather good on my pillow last night ,, i was busy all day cuting out another car and flames for boys pillows I am totaly done with two of em now ,, have to sow material on alex's Sun for him make it look like flames coming from it so he wont be upset that the other two have Flames and he dont :)
I will fix that ,,,give him flaming hot Sun ....:) oh i cant wait till they get home from school as there's will be done, and i now have new idea for back of my pillow ..

I figure it is through the God's and Goddess's that we go where we do in our dreams that we recive messages though spirit Guides and all ,,,that a Sun and Moon blended together would be the best way to show thanks to the Higher One's for there Help they give me.. in all i do ..

When the boys got home from school today first thing they said , hey mom you sow a car on my pillow and i said yea there over there ,, they looked seen the fire coming from the end of the car all three said ,,,OHHHHHH Tight mom ,,,LOL; Well everyone happy now ,,, :) Thats the main thing .... Oh my I had weird dream last night ,,,,
I been reading up on Dreams and read about two or three of the five we have so far ,, well this book says threre are five different types we have ,,The Prophetic Dream-- The Release Dream--The Wish Dream--The Information or Problem Solving Dream----Astral Visits Dream ( One I want to do most) at moment...

I medatate look at my wonderfull pillow even talk to it :) put my face to it smell it and lay my head on it & Medatate befor i fall off to Dream Land ...
I Think this dream last night was a release dream of sorts as it was weird but included the boys dad and the boys ,, nothing bad happened was just weird,, so i consider it a release dream ??

Any ways ,,, Good day to you all There is this thread where someone dreamed she was a wolf ,, oh i would love to have dream i am a animal of anykind let alone a wolf ,, she even dreamed wonderfull chant ,,,she is confused about the dream if you read this and havent seen the thread yet go check it out and see if you can help her with some thoughts on her dream Please ,,, I am interested to as of what her dream may have ment if someone can mabe decifer it for her ???
