Lovely Dream

Well... heres the facts first, i never met my nan (my moms mom) she died before i was born, but i have always felt her pressence, i have been wishing that she would show herself for a very long time, i understood a few years ago that she doesn't for a reason, she doesn't want to scare me. Anyway, i ask for her help & guidance when i'm going through bad patches, and at the moment i am. I never dreamt about her before, my mom had plenty of her and i was saying "oh i wish she would at least visit me in a dream".....

Anyways heres the dream,
I was going through a hard time in my dream (like i am now in real life) and kept crying, and didn't know what to do. I asked for spiritual help & guidance... and just carried on with how i was. Then my friend said something about a spirit person, i didn't understand her, then a woman appeared next to me. She was a spirit. She spoke to me like any other person would, and was re-assuring me that she was listening to me & she was looking out for me.
This woman was in her 30's... my nan died in her 50's, but i knew her to be my nan in my dream. It was like, she looked different but i kept getting images from photos i had seen of my nan, and that was deffinatly her. The thing i most remember about her was she had curly hair. And in real life she did have curly hair.

I really like to believe this was actually my nan visiting in my dream to let me know she is there for me at this awkward time in my life.
Can anyone verify this? I know, you can't actually say YES it was DEFFINATLY your nan, but i do believe that spirits visit us in our unconcious state. :)

I think that spirits can visit us dreams and do. My dead nanna has appeared to me a couple of times in my dreams, when i was in real need of guidance.I had a tarot reading a few years ago now, that seemed to confirm it, I was told i had a female spirit, an old one, related to me watching over me. She has always helped. I think it might be easier for them to get through to us in dreams, as we don't have so many psychological barriers in place.

Most definately, I believe spirits can visit you in your dreams. I had a friend who died from cancer a few years ago come see me...but never any relatives. I've wondered if the reason my grandfathers never drop by is b/c of their strict Christian beliefs while here...which may be keeping them from visiting their witch-grandchilde!

Yeh, well my nan was a big believer in all things spiritual. She was a christian, but she still believed in tarot,tea leaf readings, palm readings, healers....

Infact hears a story my mom told me about what happened to my nan, She was having her son and even though she'd had a few children before she was still scared of the labour, so she wrote to a faith healer, and this faith healer wrote back and said you will be fine, everything is going to go fine with you.
Anyway, when she went into labour and was examined, the midwife said you are fully dilated & looks like you've been in labour for quite some time, but the pains had only just started, she'd been in labour and didn't feel a thing for hours! She firmly believed it was the faith healer. :)
