are there symbols to represent yule and midsummer? if so, what are they and from which culture?

do you mean things such as plants, animals, etc., or were you thinking more along the lines of glyphs?

glyphs. i think, if glyphs are symbols like the pent, the planetary and zodiac symbols...

My answer to that would be:
/\ for yule... which we see as a tree.
and
V for midsummer, which can be seen as a plow.

V for midsummer, which can be seen as a plow.
But you could also see:
- for Yule. The barren Earth, and the yule log
and
| for Midsummer, the growth of plants.
