My dreams suck!!! lol

Hello All!

Everytime I have a dream it is completely...well....like watching Yellow Submarine on acid! lol. I dream of dumb things like having a pet flying fish which my mom would yell at "Oh Alicia could YOU PLEASE put your fish outside!" and then there was when I dreamt my college became an aquatic college in which you had to swim to get around in. I feel SO silly when my boyfriend asks if I had any dreams!

I guess the reason why I am posting this is because I one day want to have a dream that can be interpreted as something. I want to have a dream that will mystify me but yet seem logical. I alos want to know how I can stop having these rediculous dreams and replace them with something meaningful or do they mean something? like in my past life I was a hippy who dropped acid? lol

This won't help, but I took the advice given to me in another thread to not tucker my brains out before bed, and I have to say dreaming about sex and sex related stuff is going to drive me nuts! lol
I'd take the fish dreams instead, they sound more relaxing!

I'll trade you! lol I'd rather be able to say "I'm a sexual person" than saying "I am very fond of fish, especially the flying variety!" lol But I suppose things can get a bit tiring after ahwile if you dream it too much.

Ok, from my point of view here...
I'm not getting any, my bed is long-standing empty, and garsh-darn it (yes, I said that) it sucks! lol But then again, I don't have anyone deserving of sharing that space, so I shouldn't be complaining.
So with all that in mind, dreaming about such things isn't top of my list...

As for fish.. well< I have a fish, her name is Fish. She eats breakfast every morning, and once in a while I get her crickets to eat when I buy them for my scorpion.
Makes her a happy Fish! :)

lol, Possibly! I never thought of it that way! water does symbolize a lot as does flying.

Someday my Prince will come... after I'm done with school and I have my head on straight and am working and have started my next project for our goats and... well, when my life is straight. :)

I used to have several fish. My uncle was breeding African Chiclids, several species, and he had some that interbred, giving him about 30 little ones.
He sent home 10 or 12 to me one day in a pitcher, and I dumped them into my 40 gallon.
After 2 years, they wer ehaving babies of their own, becoming territorial, and fighting constantly.
By year three, I had one little baby that hid as everyone else killed each other.
That baby is Fish.
When Fish was about 4 inches long, I brought her home a boyfriend, named Spot. Knowing she had dominance in the tank, I made sure he was an inch or so bigger.
Fish ate Spot.

I have had same kinda dreams as both you ,, But the water dreams differ and very from time to time ,, sometimes i dream i am driving down road and it is covered with water so i cant cross ,,
other times will be same road and water over it and horses will be out there way out there playing and ladder is coming down from sky and i grab on to it start climbing,,
I have also dreamed when i was young about a house that filled up with water ,
as i was in the house snakes surrounded the house and started seeping into the house full of water and i swam around in the water filled house and not scared of the water or the snakes,, I havent dreamed that one in long time ,,,

My sex dreams well "WOW" is all i can say ,, lol
They differ and very from time to time to ,,
One time I dreamed of guy i was in love with laying in the bed and he kissed and huged me when i woke i was pissed he didnt do more in my dream ,,lol, This guy i also dreamed of us together going through some hole in the floor and we was also at Glass house on ocean front , he twirled me around as we huged and was such a happy dream ,, but i could never figure parts of it out ,

And other sex dreams some of guys i never seen befor ,, we would be together in dream kissing and getting passionate and befor we would do it i would wake up ,, use to make me so mad ,,,
I was feeling that i was sexualy deprived and that is why i wanted to at least get it in my dreams ,,But it has never happened yet ,,lol,,,,

Dreams are so interesting to me ,, and sometimes hard to decifer,,
For the most part i do beleive they have different meanings and can tell us about our inner thoughts we have or are scared of or desire ,, mabe wish to have ,, or we need to confront for whatever reason ???
Dreams can be so Mystical at times ,,
And I love how others dreams seem to be so close to my own dreams at times ....

Firstly, all of your dreams can be interpreted as something. You're rejecting the symbolisms as "silly," although they have meaning.
Secondly, both of the dreams you cited involve water. What are you waiting for? Start interpreting your dreams today!

Breuddwyd has a point. I was thinking as I read your first post on this thread that the flying fish and your mom telling you to put it outside could still be significant, just might not be in the way you are wanting.

And if this dream is recurring, maybe there's a message in there you are missing and someone wants you to get. So, try not to dismiss it as "odd" or weird, because many times that's what dreams are anyway--no matter what they comprise.
