Auras and Streaming Energies

MM all,

Can anyone here see auras and/or streaming energy from fingertips? I can see a localised energy field around trees, flowers and the like but I have never been able to see anything vibrant, such as colours.

Can anyone learn how to see these things or does it take a specific type of person?

A friend of mine draws aura fields and gives them as gifts to friends and he did one of me and there were beautiful lilacs and greens and blues, which he says he can see around me. I wish I could as well.

Some can see auras as colors and I wish I were one of them. I can "feel" auras and sense them with my third eye. Sometimes I can feel or sense what color they are, but I can't actually see the colors.

Thank you Lunacie, I didn't think of using the Search facility, silly me .... I can suss a person within seconds of meeting them and my gut instincts are strong in that regard, I can also usually sense someone's motives by looking at them but auras, nope never been able to see them in any real sense.

I have been seeing peoples auras and also those of animals and other living things all my life. I can see purple energies coming out of my projecting hand when I do rituals and healing work. I think the ability is in all of us if we open our minds and let the flow happen. I have also been an empath all my life. So i feel alot of things in people etc.

Energy from the fingers? Accoring to TCM the fingers have no chakaras to release Qi from. The only chakara in the hand that can is the palm chakara.

Chakras and theories of qi aside, I assure you that if I project energy through the end of my finger that's where it's eminating from, regardless. It is likely the same way for others.

in seeing an aura around a person or thing, the best way to start is to place the person or thing in front of a white background and the aura will appear around them. once you can base of that step, it gets easier on different backdrops.

I don't know if it's sensingh auras, or if I'm just sensitive to the electro-magnetic field around me, but I can feel when there's "something" around me...


like a person can come up behind me and not make a sound, where usually nobody would realize they're there, but I can usually "feel" them there, and I'll snap around (almost involuntary) and scare the crap out of the person :p

I also do this with my dogs, they'll come in and sit by me while I'm on the computer, I don't see them walk in, don't hear them, and then, I just reach down and pet em :)

The strange part is when I do this, and noone is there, and I KNOW I sensed something around me :p

My brother and I used to do that all the time when we were little... draw patterns in the air. But I think we've just been seeing after images. One may never know, though.

It's strange because you have both spoken of things that I do and have always taken for granted, I seem to spend a lot of time lately realising that there is a name for the things that are just innate in me.

I too have always drawn in the air with my finger (I used to get told off for doing it in junior school) and I can actually see the imprint of what I have written afterwards, I used to use this method to cheat in tests :)

Also, I can sense when my cat comes into the room without seeing he/she enter and I can also tell where they are going to be in the house when I arrive home from going out. I can say "Bramble's in the front bedroom and Klara's in the extension" and be right. Plus, I can nearly always tell when a friend of mine is in or not and whether or not to phone him up.

I have actually gone to pick up the phone and my instincts have said "he isn't in" but gone and done it anyway and the phone will ring and ring and ring while at other times, I can say "he will be just coming through the door now" and when he picks up the phone he will say "you just caught me, I just arrived back!"
