View Full Version : Dying every night?

For the past few months, every time I dream it's always the same... I die at the end. The first one started when I accidentally killed my younger brother (no, I definitely do not hate him, we're very good friends!), and was so upset I committed suicide, and then after I died woke up crying. The most recent was me being kidnapped, and getting shot when I tried escaping. Every time the dreams always start from an event that already happened that same day, only it makes the worst things possible happen.
Any ideas what in the world is going on, or how to stop them? It's really starting to frighten me. Especially since I don't wake up just before I die, but after I do.

Hi Lai! :) Is there any stress in your life? I used to have dreadful nightmares when there was stress in my life. Think lovely thoughts through meditation before you fall asleep.

Hello, I was wondering if you have had any fears of dying or if some one close to you has died lately?
(sorry to be so morbid) That's what happened to me and the dreams didn't stop until I came to terms with death and it has been a lot better for me sence.
So mabey if you try digging deep down and finding if that is what realy is wrong and confronting it you just might stop thoes dreams from continuing.
blessed be,

I have found that dying in dreams is not a bad thing so don't let it scare you. In dreams death often means change especially in self. If you die in a dream you may be facing a major change in life or yourself. If it keeps happening it can mean that you resisting or not open to the change. You may want to look at it that way. Remember as we grow and change we often cast off the old to let the new flourish, or in other words the old dies so that the new may be born, be it in our thinking or physical beings.
