A strange Expierence....

Okay, lastnight when me & my boyfriend went to bed, he fell to sleep fine but i was having a strange expeirence. I would shut my eyes, but they'd flicker & i kept getting flashes in my eyes, also, i kept hearing loads of noises coming from downstairs (my house is known to be haunted my a child) so i assumed it was the little girl. But it really frightened me, when i tryed opening my eyes to stop the flashes & flickering, i could barely keep them open. In the end i got so frightened i told my boyfriend to turn the lamp on, after he did, i went to sleep fine... My boyfriend was worried in the morning about what i'd heard n stuff, but i found it hard to explain it to him.
Does anyone have any idea what this was?

During my teenage years (I don't know how old you are and I am not going to ask lol) I experienced a lot of "activity" in and around the house. It got so bad in the end, that growling could be heard in any room that I was in. There would be a sound of chairs being scraped across the kitchen floor yet when we would go in, nothing would be out of place.

It went on for about 10 months or so and as quickly as it started it stopped. I was a very disruptive adolescent and I can only assume that these 'happenings' were an external manifestation of an inner turmoil. I don't know anything about you and I am certainly not going to presume but have you been through any kind of trauma recently that could have upset the balance of the place?

Wow, that was like spot on, because i am 16, i have a daughter & i'm going through a pretty hard time right now, especially for being so young!!

I've been experiencing some things like this lately, so it pretty much explains it. I mean, it might not be the reason, but i do know that stress around a person can cause disruption.
