Yupe.
In cases of extreme emotion I tend to do that. When my sister got hit by a car I was right there with her, while I was 10 miles away sleeping... Wierd huh?

Heyy! Have you ever read any books by the psychic Sylvia Brown? They have a lot about astral travaing and how to do it. She says that we astrally travel all the time in our sleep but few have memories of it. I have tried to astral travel before. I think I was about to leave my body becuase I was in a deep meditive state and I started getting vibrations... but I couldn't get past that! :stomp

I was going to ask her the same thing ,,
I have Syliva Browne's Book Of Dreams,,,
I voted Yes,,,
Cuz I truly beleive we are reincarnated into new bodies when we die,,,
And that we have lived meny life's ,,,
and that our souls do travel all the time to the spirit world,although we may not remember all our journeys , I beleive we travel Lots in our Dreams,,,
into past life's and to the Spiritual world with our Animal Guides or Spiritual guides,
when they want us to see something ,, or that we travel to other side just to get out of the body and stretch so to say ,,

Yup, you tend to regularly astral travel in your dreams. Just yesterday I was dozing off to sleep thinking about a relay race I had done in PE during the day, and suddenly I'm following myself around the track, floating beside myself! Strange, I know, but I don't believe time is linear at all. I thought it was just an exaggerated memory echo for a split second, but then I suddenly thought straight and... oh it was painful. You know when you 'fall out your tree' when you're near to sleeping? Well that's often your spirit returning to your body. I'd never fallen that violently before!
I also remember a very vivid 'flying dream' in a sleepy town, maybe from many years ago. I remember 'searching for my home' because the streets were rearranged and all that stayed the same was my local church! I've never written that down before... hmm. It seems different when I write it. I felt like a lost, unhappy soul who's home had gone. I wonder what it could have meant?

We can never be sure until we actually meet someone at the destination, who confirms at a later stage simular experiences.
But, yes, also I do the astral travel.
You first need to learn to direct your dreams, I trust.
Then it is the concentration of opening an inner eye, and then just drift.
And hello, am new here. :)

As one how has been actively projecting for several months...I just wanted to mention that this 'sounds' like a dream. Like I said I have projected...I have never been yelled at or even noticed by others.
Also there is a misconception that one must be asleep to project...categorically not true.
Keep working at it...if you want it bad enough and dedicate the time to it...it will come.

I believe that some people can, but as Toad said, this sounds like one of those dreams that feels very real. And I've had plenty of those - they usually occur when something is really on my mind.

I seem to do it a lot in my dreams.It just happens. But then I have a high % third eye level so it's no big deal. I don't have a need to try it other wise. I think if I actually tried to do it I'd be sent to China or somewhere far off like overdrive................

Love the overdrive part...:)
I been reading on astral travel through meditation...
Couldnt get it ,,
Mabe i just not meditating right or something ?????
But i have been tryen my best to Dream Travel now ,,
figure if I cant do it one way,
mabe I can do the other ,,,:)
:colorful:
I wish to be on the other side of the room at least ,,,,
But if ya really could go into overdrive and go to far way places like that ,,
I am trying even that much harder ,,,, :thumbsup:
I was tring to focus and medtate on certain thing as i feel off to sleep the other night ,, well morning i should say ,,,, And i had a dream of a building ya walk into from the street big doors like a garage but it wasnt a garage Not sure what it was all i know is when ya looked up there was this grid of the sky ,,,(Like a weather map on the news) and it was charted out in colors,,, was the most wonderfull Green, Orange, red , Blue, Yellow..
when i woke up went back to sleep went back into same dream ,, The building also had the poles coming out of the ground with shower caps on the top ,, and on way out the girl asked me (Hey did ya feel the warm water ) I say yea i was here earlier ) One pole was warm water and the other was cold ,, and both was natural springs from the Earth somehow piped up through the poles just for those coming in the building... There was way more to the dream to ,, A statem people cheering and a girl with long dark hair (Ticket Taker) real green vest on gaurding steps ,,, on side of steps where she was was ocean water ,, there was poles around so ya couldnt get to the water but i stoud up to the pole and looked at the chopy water ,,, took note of its beauty and we walked on ....??
I wondered if this could possibly be somekind of Dream Travel to a Life in the furture ,,, well cuz of sky grid of colors and all gave me that thought ?????
Any thoughts on this dream ,,, Think it may have been some type of Dream travel ,,,????
~~~~~~~~~Blessed Be ,,,Merry part
The "overdrive" thing is actually a good thing. When you are new to projecting it is benificial to move out of the immediate area of your body as soon as possible. In my experience I find it harder to control myself the closer to my body I am. it's almost a feeling of vertigo. As soon as I move out of the room or house I am much better. I posted some more info on travelling and a link and some goo dbooks on it in another thread. It is in this section, I think the title was dream sharing or something similiar.
