my 15 year old sister is in a panic. recently, she has been having premonitions about her being pregnant. unfortunately, through no fault of her own, this is entirely possible.
how likely is it that the premonitions are true?

Is this a nightmare, something she's dreampt?
Is she having waking flashes?

Is her premonition of being raped?
If so, I would think she needs to take every precaution to make sure it does not happen.

Everyone is different.
I have dreams and flashes.

Tell her to be careful. I had (about 2-3 years ago now) what I thought was just a harmless dream ... and about a week later, it turned out to be true, every event unfolded just like it did in the dream. Luckily for me though, my sister (the one it concerned) didn't die, like she did in the dream. We were lucky, that day.

Sometimes premonitions are the result of a good immagination. Your greatest fears manifest themselves in a premonition. But even if it isnt real and it IS just her immagination, Id advise her to carry around a knife or a can of mace, just in case

Her dream may not even be a premonition (although such do happen, certainly.) Rather than worry & wonder, she should go to a doctor if she has such fears.

I was about her age when I started dreaming I was pregnant. I dreamt it every night for about 1 month straight. And every night I’d dream I was in different stages. There were nights I could feel the baby.

Looked up pregnancy in every dream book I could find. Most said the same thing:

I'm sorry but... I don't think you'll know the dream was a premonition until it happenes... so why ask? *snickers*

I have had countless baby/pregnant dreams since I was a wee child, yet I'm still childless, thank god.

I tend to agree... that and I'm not really clear on whether this is a general premonition or one seen in a dream. Most of the dream books will tell your that you're about to enter a period of creativity, which doesn't always mean a literally conception and pregnancy... If you're an artist it could mean you're gonna give birth to a painting! (ouch! didn't mean literally! )
I had lots of these dreams as a teenager and for me personally it always seemed to mean a new love interest was on the horizon... Not necessarily a new boyfriend, but definitely a new "crush". :)

Pregnancy dreams can mean the start of a new project (it's your baby) and they can mean a fear of being pregnant, and they could be real. If you are empathic, you will sense within yourself something happening in the body of another person. This is how I sometimes know when someone else is sick. Dreams are unreliable as predictors of future events, at least for most people. There's so much going on in them.

I'd use reasonable caution in making sure it doesn't happen. However, unless there is a reason to fear, I wouldn't worry overmuch.
