I've been having a lot of dreams about pregnancy but in the reverse order.
I first had a dream about having a baby girl, just under 7lbs and I called her Deborah after my dead twin.
In the second dream I was heavily pregnant in hospital and my step mother (who's also dead) was there along with one of my dads friends (female) from Scotland. (I'm Scottish living in England by the way.) I'm surprised my step mother was there because we never gor on.
In the third dream I was just finding out I was pregnant.
In none of these dreams was the father of the child, infact, there were no males at all.
Now all I see is pregnant women, in life and on TV etc. I don't know whether I'm just more aware of them because of my dreams.
Any explanations?
Thanks :)

Hi,
I've had pregnant dreams numerous times since the past two years but they stopped a few months ago. I first thought it meant I would have a baby in real waking life but things didn't go well with boyfriend. That's when the dreams stopped. So IMO pregnant dreams could mean something else like a new beginning and change in life.

I'm with Coldghost. A pregnancy dream could mean a change. I think that it means that you might give birth to new ideas. Perhaps, they are signs to give birth to creativity.
I, too, used to have pregnancy dreams. No way did I interpet it as a sign to have a child. Maybe it's a sign that you are entering into a more mature stage of your life.

Oh yes, dreams of pregnacny are such symbolic dreams towards secretive thoughts and personal growth and change. Of course, each person has their own individual meaning with these dreams, but generally speaking, it seems to me that you have been holding with you a certain secret. This doesn't mean that this secret is bad by any means, though it is something that you have not shared with anyone else in your life right now. This secret may be very important to you, possibly stressful on you.
The best way to make these dreams stop is to share this information with a trusted loved one. It will ease your mind and therefor ease your dreams.

Pregnancy is also associated with creativity and of course, rebirth as well as change, which has already been mentioned.
Is there something within you that needs to come out? A desire to do art, music, writing - or even a new job?

yup. like clockwork I get a pregnant dream whenever a major change is coming. sometimes for moths at a time.
you have no clue how scary it is for a 14 year old girl to dream she's pregnant every night for 2 months straight. And actually feel the baby.

A lot of people say that, MoonDust, that they can actually feel the baby inside of them in the dream. In some cases, dreamers, given a certain light provided by the mind, will actually see the baby within them. This has a spectacular representation towards a new road that you are aware of yet hesitate to follow and toss the idea around in your mind during your waking life.

There have been a few instances where I can see the baby. like when you're looking at a textbook drawing of a pregnant woman and there's a curled up baby? like that. though most often than not I feel the babe. I'm not strong enough to see the baby every time.

I used to have pregnant dreams when my sister got pregnant. (sort of like sympathy pregnancy?) At times, it felt real, giving birth and everything, it was interesting. I never realy noticed if it was because of a change or anything. I'll have to pay closer attention next time.
