Choosing the Druidic Path. Choice or Destiny

A friend asked me not long ago if I chose The Path of the Druid or did it choose me. Without hesitation I replied "It chose me." For thats the way it happened. After 25+ years of comparitive religion and studying different pagan path I was slapped on the head spiritually and told "Time for you to wake up." in a manner of speaking. :)

So I ask others,what brought you to search out the druid path? I don't elaborate on this question because reasons are as personal as people. Also,this is a question of intent. It is meant so that you may look into yourself and ask what it is you REALLY are seeking.

As you may have read elsewhere Twig i seem to be changing...the Path I have been following is being re-directed by a Power that I trust and respect. I have been led to a 'section' (for lack of a better term) of the Craft that is lossely called 'Green' by a few ppl.

I feel the connection with the Earth and Mother very strongly and it just seems to get stronger now. I am asking for a little guidance because, frankly, I am so used to walking the Path I have been for a little while that I am almost afraid of change.

Mol my friend,I have felt it also. A gnawing feeling of change. of uncertainty that eats around the edge of things that were certain only a few days ago.

I initially chalked it up to the seasons beginning to change. You look forward to the days lengthening and getting warmer. The whole Spring experience is about birth and change in pep[le. But you sound as though it is deeper than that. I think about what you have done here in the little time since I arrived and restless is the understatement of the year!

I won't try to discern what it is but,will ask you to do this, take a couple of hours and ask when it really started? Also,think on what it is that you start to focus on once these feelings hit. there might be a hint in what you do in response to this agitation.

More times than not,the problems that we see in front of us are only the distraction we ourselves create in our mind to mask what we REALLY need to address. I got this wisdom from my work with the runes.

The change. Since we are attune with Her..we fell Her as She changes. As the seasons change we feel this as well...could be the cause...I dont think I have ever felt as close to Her as I have these past few weeks.

And a lot of this has to do with this place.

And feeling this change we are naturally apprehensive and slightly scared.

I suggest you go out somewhere and take a close look at this change going on. Ask the wind,the animals you see and mostly,the trees[for they are old and wise]. Listen with your mind "half detached" and see what happens.:)
