David and I went to our 1st Yule Event last night. I worked 10am - 5pm yesterday and it all started at 6pm. We did arrive late, but didn't miss much. David and I felt uncomfortable at first, but that only lasted about 10 minutes. We had a potluck dinner with lots of food like - mashed potatoes, sushi, shrimp, meatballs, chicken pot pie, cookies, and much more. They had a secret Elf Exchange, David and I didn't participate in that because we weren't sure if we were going. At 9pm, we did our first ritual with the rest of the group. It was a Yule ritual with the Goddess going to relax and the God being reborn. David and I have seen a ritual at Pagan Pride Day, but this is the 1st one we joined in. David said he got chills. I felt pressure on my shoulders when Forestwoman(Erin) asked if anyone needed energy. The pressure went away after I asked for TTC energy. I had a lady read my palm about kids and she said, "You had a miscarriage?" I was blown by that. She said "David and I should have one kid." I am fine with that. We had to leave early because David had to get up at 4am for work.
