Allright, I was on my way to post it up when I saw this thread. It was about 3 days ago.
I was standing in the middle of a field, green grass streched as far as I could see. There was a slight breeze, it was all very peacefull, quiet, serene. I heard a loud roar off to my right, I turned to look and there was this....man, just charging at me. He was very very tall, black hair that stretched down to his waist, he had a huge axe in his hand and he was swinging it around screaming like a madman. Without thinking, my hand shot up, and this arc of...it looked kind of like lighting, shot from my finger tips. It struck him square in the chest, I saw him scream and reel backwards, his hands covering a hole burned into his chest. Annother loud sound came off behind me, whirling around I saw annother man, very similar looking to the first, but at his feet were animals the likes of which I have never seen. They looked like over-sized wolves, but thier teeth were as long as your middle finger, thier eyes were just blood red and thier fur was black as night. My hand again went up and the air itself seemed to ripple, the ripple surged towards the man and the animals who were charging at me. I saw them fall backwards, the animal's necks were snapped almost instantly, the man fell to the ground with blood pouring from his eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. Again I hear a nose to the side of me, again I turned. I saw a giant of a man, clad in rusting plate armor, swinging a sword that looked like it was twice my size. I could only see two red burning lights where his eyes should have been behind the visor of his helmet. He screamed and ran at me, both of my hands went up and my fingers did a curious little move, and I saw his armor start to glow red. He stopped and screamed again, this time with agony, his armor was heating up, growing hotter and hotter on his body. And this went on I dont know how long, it ended when I was surrounded by men, all different looks, but all wielding weapons and screaming for blood, I threw both hands in the air and shouted, there was a bright flash of light, and I woke up panting and sweating. All through it, I just felt genuine rage, anger and hatred towards the men who were trying to kill me, it seemed like, the angrier I was, the stronger the spells I threw became. I can remember crushing the insides of one man, setting fire to annother's skin. It was like riding on a wave of rage.
Now, I have ZERO clue as to what this means. And I was....wondering if anyboddy might be able to help

I have to admit when I read this I thought of revelation in the bible. I pretty much deal with psychic dreams myself so I would hope it wasn't that. You have a lot of symbolism in this dream and even though I've studied up on it it's not my style I'll leave that to the others. Check back in they'll answer you.

I normaly dont sleep in the Day but i have been sick recently and think i been draining myself to much ,,,
and i was laying there awhile ago ,,
Messing with my Goddess statue,
I drew a triangle and and a eye in the middle of the triangle on her left boob,,,
A bow and arrow on her right boobe,( For My Lady Diana)
A spider and as i drew the eight legs the first four on the one side each leg that i drew i said this one for Love this one for helth this one for energy this one for wisdom..and so on ..And drew three birds on her other shoulder ,, (as tribute to the three sacred birds that are with My Lady Raihannon,,, )
Drew a friendship sign in the ach of her back ...the Goddess and moon sign on her lower back ,,,,,,,right down towards the cheek of her but ,,,
and i think doing all these runen signs and things i was doing ,,
is way i had this dream but it ws so short and
i wasnt all the way asleep it was weird ....
I layed there in this state trying to go to sleep hopen to feel better ..
and in the darkness I visulised a triangle and at first it was partly yellow,,
then i opened my eyes thinking was i just dreaming of a yellow traingle ??
then closed my eyes thinking of the eye I wanted in the middle of the triangle,,
and the triangle came back in my mind but this time a full yellow triangle just missing the eye ...
It was like i was dreaming it...... but then like i wasnt ,,,
like it was just in my mind ???
Not sure if this happen cuz i drew a light outline in pencil of things i might like to paint there ...( eyes and a thrid eye on my Goddess)
or just my mind working over time ,, or was a dream from a light sleep cuz this was on my mind <<<<<,lol
Go figure that one huh ,,,
Whats you thoughts on this ???????

heres another for you, it put me off going into nursing
i was a midwife in the gynocology ward and there was a heavily pregnant woman laying on the table getting an ultrasound. i had a look at the picture, it was sort of cartoony, like it was hand drawn. it was an egg kike a chickens, split in half. between the two halves was a small baby with a mature face and very thin, almost alien looking. it had a blank expression, i got the feeling of unease, very uncomfortable. this seemed wrong, not the baby, just like this was too early, the baby wasnt supposed to be outside of the egg yet. not a word was spoken, it was deadly silent, then the baby frowned and closed its eyes, it was dead, i felt responsable, like it was my fault. i knew i did nothing wrong but i still blamed myself
i had this dream repeatedly for a few days, it still crops up now and again, not regularly tho and there is no distinguishable pattern

Lamoondove I'll get back to you in a minute.Let me take this one first.
Your torn for some reason to go into nursing or not.Only you know the true reasons behide it.But for some reason you felt it was to soon. Now your wondering if you made the right chioce. You should ask yourself where you want to be in life in a few years. Do you see yourself in nursing or doing something else. A path is not always gone once you choose which direction in the Y. A path has many twists and turns and sometimes we get to where were going by taking the the curves and twisted path because we could not see the way clearly taking the straight path.
Only you will know if you are truely meant to go into nursing but remember the path you take is already chosen for you though you don't know which way to go you will get there.

You have been having some really strange dreams lately but I'd have to say you have a lot on your mind. I myself have these types of dreams When I do Tarot cards, it's like my mind taps into it and I picture it and figure things out in my head when I'm not really a sleep but falling to sleep or even dreaming off and on all night about it. I think your on over load not feeling well brings out a whole new level let we don't usually use. I'd rest up, try to get a good nights sleep in try using some jasmine or something you would use for sleep. I think your dreams will settle and stop being so symbolical causing you to wonder so much. But I'm sure someone can give you symbolical reasons for all of this so check back

Ok check this out ,,, Befor i got off line a sent a happy New Year to my special Freind in PA who i havent heard from in a while ,,, and watched some tv ,,, turned off TV rolling over on the couch ,, looked up at my Goddess Doll (had to pick her up rub her) anyways and sit her so as she was watching me sleep ...
I Dreamed of the triangle again ....
this time it was fuzzy blank like a TV that lost the picture ...
I was thinking for some reason that i have to keep doing good to fill the triangle with Powers ,,, i woke up thinking that ,,
Very Stong feeling of the more good i do,,
the fuller the triangle will become of power and color....
I woke up went back to sleep and i Dreamed ..
(((((((((((((((((((((((((((Steven Segual)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Shot me in my Knee...
I was in this house and had a little baby there ,, and there was a couple other girls there
and I knew Steven Segal Real good personaly ,, He was leaving and told me to come out side i say huh ,, he says yes come out side ,, i say ok follow him out ,, he takes his gun and shots me in my knee,,, i fell down saying i cant beleive you did that ...
Then he was gone i was there with the girls and went to the back room got the one girl off the phone and used it to call him and told him ,, I cant beleive you shot me in my knee , I Love you so much ,,you know my mom and whole family,
((((((((((((weird thing is it didnt hurt my knee just my feelings))))))))))))))))))
I told him You might as well of shot me in my HEART,, why dont ya just kill me get it done then ,, you going to hurt me like this ,, finish me off ,,, then hung up the phone and left...
walked down roads and through yards to this house i entered it through the basement ,, i was haven a heck of a time trying to clim the cement wall to get over it to the other side ,,
(((((Once again the walk, climbing the wall till i find the opening,my knee has no PAIN!))))
((((((((((((((JUST MY HEART )))))))))))))))))))))))))
kept trying and trying over and over could get over the edge .. as i steped back one time i seen at the end was a fence and it had something covering it to camfolage it ,, i said hey thaTS RIGHT ITS OPEN DOWN THERE ...
i go overmove the fence & walk around and this girl sitting in a chair takes and pushes a button on a alarm she has ,, and i say YOU dont have to hit the button on me i belong here ,, I go upstairs and walk in the roon They asked me what happened i say he shot me ,,, they say what , i say yea ..
then I just realise I LEFT THE BABY THERE<, OH crap I left the baby there i say ,,, she says,,,what no you didnt ,, I say yes i did ,, she say get dressed everyone we gotts go ...
then i wake up thinking about the triangle again and the Dream and what could it all mean ??????????????<<<<<HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM>>>>>>>>>>>>
Best thing i can figure is my heart feels pain for a friend and i cant beleive that this friend i care so much for is hurting my soul ,, and this friend probley dont even know or care ,,,
The Dream of the fuzzy blank triangle haven to do good to fill it with powers and color ,,
Mabe i fell i am not as powerfull as i like to be or something ????
I mean i beleive we all have powers within us ,,, it is just waking them up putting them to use ,,, Good use ,, Like my Dream where i had energy big blue energys coming out of my finger tip ,,, I wanting to have powers ,,, is why i am Dreaming of Powers,,,Mabe ???
Well any thoughts from ANY One on any of this would surly be apericated!!!!!!!!

Ive had this reoccuring dream since I was really little..Id say like 4 or 5..maybe 6, anyways back then I used to have it all the time, I don't anymore but it still comes to me ever now and then. I haven't noticed any patterns in my life like things that happen around the time of the dreams that could be what brings it on...but anywho here goes
Im really young, under 7 or 8(when I had them when I was younger I was younger in the dreams too) and now I cant remember the beginning of the dream. I think I might have been at a zoo or something? Anyways..what I always remember is that Im running down these streets and theres a giant lion chacing me. This huge rabid lion..foaming at the mouth and all and he wants to tear me apart. So Im running down the street and I keep running up to houses and banging on peoples doors to try to get away from the lion but nobody will help me. I don't know how Im able to keep going to the houses without the lion catching me but hes always just a lil too far behind to get me. And I just keep running up and down the streets screaming and crying and banging on every door I pass untill finally the lion starts catchin up to me and he almost has me and then I wake up. Sometimes when I was little it would end where I fell down and the lion came up and was hovering over me and I'd wake up right before he started to eat me(well at least I think thats what he would have done).
Any insight on that one? I figured it might have been brought on by stress or something like that but it doesn't seem like it.
Anywho thanks for listenin

There are two types of dreams you could be having and by reading what you wrote I've narrowed it down to the psychological symbolism we all get. When a person dreams a dream several times over there life time and it stays the same exspecially the ending your having a reincarnation dream but yours tends to change with the lion sometimes right over you, No this is the psychological one we all get and you need to confront it's hidden meanings in order the stop them. All of us have to deal with something in one way or another some dream their nude in front of a crowd some dream of water some dream their running but running very slow. Find yourself a dream dictionary and look in it about the symbols in your dreams. The lion, the houses, the feelings your feeling when your being chased by the lion they all have meaning. You keep having it because it is something you repeatively have to face over and over in your life. Sometimes you need to change how you preceive people or events other times you need to change something about you like if your very shy, unopen... The dream dictionary will help you And I would be surprised if you got a natal chart done and it was that sign your north node was in. Which ever sign your North Node is in is the sign your here to work with in this life.

There are a lot of dreams out there with symbolism in them I think you should really pick up a dream dictionary. But you also have to realize some dreams are just that dreams. With no meanings, it's our minds way of breaking off from the conscious world. When a person sleeps the mind needs a break from that controlled state so we dream and our imaginations flow like a river this is where we can truely be free. But if you try to figure out every meaning of every dream your going to get nowhere burn your self out and loose the process of knowing when the mind is really trying to tell you something.
You really need to start at the basics learning what dreams are symbolic dreams and which dreams are psychic and which are just dreams. From there you learn what symbolical dreams hold for you and what the 6 psychic dreams hold. But I think you need to learn a bit more about the first three. There are many books out there that talk about dreams and how the mind works. You really need to understand the mind being that's where the information is coming to you thru. But remember sometimes a dream is just that a dream something fun and where anything can happen, it's where I do not try to figure out, if you try to figure it out you won't get answers. If something or someone is trying to tell you something it will, believe me I don't try to have psychic dreams it's a message being sent to me whether I want it or not because my mind is more willing to except the message.
I believe you want to learn as much as you can and thats good but you must also know the mind is a universe when we're a sleep, you'll burn out if you try to explore it all in one leap. Small steps are all that is needed to open up the widest of worlds in the mind. If your goddess or god is trying to tell you something you'll know it..................

I had a dream that I killed my signifigant other because it tried to take my baby away. Not to mention a whole 6 hours of it bashing me and being completely unresponsive of any reason I tried to have with it.
Beat it to death with my own two fist. What does that mean?
edit to add: I forgot that before I killed her I turned into a james bond like character and tried to parasail over a fence to get out of the yard away from the whole situation, but the guy in the
hanglider ran out of gas and I couldnt get over so I was forced to go back. I killed it in the garage next to the heater room.

I had a beatiful dream a while back. I dreamt that I had a "mystical union" type intercourse with this ancient, gorgeous tree. And then the next thing you know, I gave birth to a faery-child. She lived with me exactly one year and a day....then she flew away.
The dream was sepia-toned...I usually dream in color, but this had an antique-wash effect to it.

Last night’s dream:
I dreamed I was playing an old PC game called Alley Cat (which I had played in real life a lot of times), where the final scene is that the male cat climbs up floors of hearts until he catches the female cat on the top. As soon as he did, I stood before a high brown door with many windows on it, each window signifying a level of the afterlife as in Dante’s Divine Comedy. Then the window named Purgatory slid, and the door opened. I came swimming into a blue, watery room full of small white bubbles. And there were a host of friends of mine, all likewise swimming in the blue.

was weird ,,
I think this one was like a wish dream ,, or a future dream ,, as i was limping in my dream ,, and haven 5 hip surgers the next will leave me without a hip ,,,
(((((I was driving agin in this dream there was a small river a couple people was going to walk down it and it was night i told em dont be scared i walked it already ,, and they went off to walk the river and i went to get back in the van and the doors was locked and i thought i couldnt get in but one of the kids was in the back i opened the back said give me the leys ,, i drove to gastation ,, left my monies in van limped back out to get my purse and thinking i was getting in blue van but it was red ?? )))))
I think i do need to get some ink for my printer so i can print out the dream symbols from this one link but , also think i should make up a dream symboly book of my own what symbols in my dreams mean to me ,, like the Van or driving ,,
See i have a van to drive but it aint really mine ,, and i always have a car or van so i think i am dreaming these dreams of driving cuz i been wanting to get a new van or car ,,,
So I do think this was a wish dream possibly a future dream...

A dream I had two days ago...copy-pasted from my LJ. Hope you'll forgive me.
It starts out with me walking along a highway to get to church. There's still a bunch of people straggling behind, and it looks to be about ten in the morning. Dragonboy is with me, and will be for the first part of the dream. We get to the church, get seated...and find we've caught the tail end of services at my parents' church, with what might be a visiting pastor. African-american gent, very charismatic, very nice man...save for what's happening next. (I only mention the different pastor because we've never had minorities on clergy...come to think of it, we don't have too many minorities at my folks' church. I've always thought that kind of strange, but just run with it.)
Suddenly, as the pastor is dismissing us, there's some shouting to my right. Someone has pointed a finger and accused somebody of being a witch! Sure enough, they nod quietly, get up, and are "escorted", none too gently, from the church. Almost laughingly, the pastor grins, looks around, and says "Anyone else?"
I am nigh on enraged beyond belief by what I saw...and that leads to an incredibly strange chain of events. I stood up, I walked out of the pew (Dragonboy has disappeared at some point in between), I looked at the pastor and said "Yes, there is! It's ME! I am WICCAN!" I look over to my parents...I can't see my dad's reaction, but my mom sighs heavily, and her face is weighted down with disappointment. She also appears to roll her eyes. In any event, I must've been caught up in the moment, because I didn't feel anything except anger and conviction. I said some other things then, about how I honor true Christians and the beliefs they hold. The pastor laughed in my face, walked away, and waved me off dismissively...as more and more people got up and shouted (whether they were claiming to be Pagans or not, I couldn't tell). I turn to leave, and the pastor is leading a prayer session for my soul, making waving motions and telling me he banishes Satan from God's temple. I turn right back, plant my feet, and say "Nuh-uh. I am not of Satan. Wicca is not evil. If you want me gone, you will have to remove me yourself." (From a real-life perspective-check standpoint, probably not wise.) So, he comes over, gently takes me by the elbow, and escorts me to the side door-
-which leads to a locker room of some kind. A bunch of teenagers are throwing out bags of luggage from lockers, tossing them roughly onto a pile in the middle of the floor. I approach one, ask him why he's doing this (of course, my rough speech impediment* is starting to come through). He goes on about "filthy Pagans" and whatnot, and so I try to tell him about how Wicca is not evil, and Wiccans are not bad people (should've been more specific, but you can't correct yourself in a dream.) He's ignoring me at this point, and so I try another approach to at least stop the bag-tossing (I can hear fragile things breaking by the thousands, even over the angry roar of the teenagers and the thuds of large baggage). Here's what I can remember of the "conversation", as much of it was said talking to his back:
"You're a Christian, right? What are you doing? Is this what Christ would do? Do you believe this is what Christ would do, standing in your shoes? Christians are good people when they walk the walk. You're talking the talk now, but are you walking? Don't just talk, walk. Ask yourself what Jesus would have done, and do that..."
I remember babbling more, but I can't remember what was said. It definitely seemed to slow him down a bit, though. That was before he closed his locker door, and showed me a black-and-white poster of four or five very beat-up kids. Below it, in somewhat small print, was a tale of how, in a certain year dating back to roughly the Old West, five kids were discovered to have relations to Paganism (Pagan mom or Pagan kids, I can't remember specifically.). Long story short, they were practically mutilated one day, at school. (They attended a Christian school.) I can't remember if they survived, but I saw that poster, and the blurb below it (below a bandaged child, it said something like "Keep your eyes open for the opportunity..."), and was thoroughly enraged again. I remember kicking the locker door in my anger and sadness, screaming again about what Christ would do in this situation, how he'd be ashamed of what his "children" are doing...
That dream faded out, and faded into one where I spent a lot of time hitching rides, begging for food, hiding from the authorities (I guess the guy I was with had kidnapped me or something), and travelling.
I read earlier, in another thread, that what's most important is what the symbols mean to you (from Hope). Well, I only get one possible interp for this: War is coming. It's going to be big, and chances are, it's going to be nasty. And chances are looking really good that it'll start at home. I don't know, though. I sometimes read too far into things. (Empathic/Sensitivity Overdrive, I suppose...my inner wolf is still a puppy, getting the occasional smack on the nose or the nip in the tail) Your thoughts?

StormwolfAvatar,
Actually I get a good insight to what is going on inside of you from this dream. My first question is does your family know your path? From this dream it sounds like they don't or at least don't know how serious you are about your path. Second I pick up on the tense situation that is even going on here at MW about christians and pagans. You may be still struggling with this in side you trying to find your way from one path to the next the new you. I believe the way your feeling will tell you alot about this dream...........
You may need to look deeper within yourself for the answers but I get the feeling this is a symbolical dream trying to tell you something............
I do not believe it is a psychic dream.
Hope hope this helps............ We have a thread here talking about different types of psychic dreams a brief discription of the 6 if you would like to look at it...............

I'm really don't know if this was a dream or not...I swear I'm wide awake when this happens...
I am usually in bed waiting to go to sleep when in the far corner there is a presence in the form of a hovering sphere...slowly the ball increases in size and it exudes termendous amount of pressure...my entire body is paralyzed with the exception of my head...I try and scream but nothing comes out....the sphere continues to grow until it is to the point of smashing me...then the sphere immediately shrinks back into the corner and it starts all over again...
I honestly think that I'm awake when this happens but in the slight chance I'm not...I have formed a severe fear of this occurrence...it has no discretion as to whether I am with others or not...there is no eminant situations that would trigger this event...I have search many dream dictionaries and have unfortunately found nothing that could help me decipher it...any comments would be welcomed...

Hi Aislyn_moon, and welcome to MW! I used to frequently have the types of dreams you describe, and they are quite disturbing! I still have them, but not as often. At the top of the page is a search function. Type in "sleep paralysis" - there have been quite a few discussions of it in the forums here. I bolded the parts of your post which lead me to believe you're experiencing sleep paralysis, as I do on occasion.
From what I understand, this happens when one side of your brain falls asleep before the other side does - so you are literally awake and dreaming - a hallucinatory state. The details of the dreams are different for everybody, but the experience is often very similar. I hope this helps!

Sleep paralysis, or more properly, sleep paralysis with hypnagogic and hypnopompic hallucinations have been singled out as a particularly likely source of beliefs concerning not only alien abductions, but all manner of beliefs in alternative realities and otherworldly creatures. Sleep paralysis is a condition in which someone, most often lying in a supine position, about to drop of to sleep, or just upon waking from sleep realizes that s/he is unable to move, or speak, or cry out. This may last a few seconds or several moments, occasionally longer. People frequently report feeling a "presence" that is often described as malevolent, threatening, or evil. An intense sense of dread and terror is very common. The presence is likely to be vaguely felt or sensed just out of sight but thought to be watching or monitoring, often with intense interest, sometimes standing by, or sitting on, the bed. On some occasions the presence may attack, strangling and exerting crushing pressure on the chest. People also report auditory, visual, proprioceptive, and tactile hallucinations, as well as floating sensations and out-of-body experiences (Hufford, 1982). These various sensory experiences have been referred to collectively as hypnagogic and hypnopompic experiences (HHEs). People frequently try, unsuccessfully, to cry out. After seconds or minutes one feels suddenly released from the paralysis, but may be left with a lingering anxiety. Extreme effort to move may even produce phantom movements in which there is proprioceptive feedback of movement that conflicts with visual disconfirmation of any movement of the limb. People may also report severe pain in the limbs when trying to move them. Several recent surveys including our own suggest that between 25-30% of the population reports that they have experienced at least a mild form of sleep paralysis at least once and about 20-30% of these have had the experience on several occasions. A few people may have very elaborate experiences almost nightly (or many times in a night) for years. Aside from many of the very disturbing features of the experience itself (described in succeeding sections) the phenomenon is quite benign. It was thought in the past that it was a significant part of the so-called "narcoleptic tetrad", but recent surveys of non-clinical populations, such as ours, suggest that the prevalence may be as high among the general population as among diagnosed narcoleptics.

Thank you everyone for trying to help...to answer some of your questions, it has happened when I'm at others homes...it has happened during the day...usually when I am resting-going to sleep/nap...as for fearing it, it started when I was so young that I believe that is why I fear it so...I think I fear the sphere more than anything...it always feels like it's going to crush me and I can't get away...for days afterwards I try my best not to go to sleep...I'll have to look up sleep paralysis...it doesn't happen so often now but that may be due to my many problems with sleep now...there have been other dreams some what similar but more along the lines of myself being very tiny and growing...but I know I'm sleeping with those ones...anyway, thank you for all of your insights, I appreciate them...

The sleep paralysis site I looked at said it usually starts in childhood, plus day time napping.
There's a lot of information though and I never would have thought of be being I didn't know it could happen before falling to sleep I just knew of waking from sleep. So good going Hoot........

Well, i have 2 dreams that i'd like interpreted... i say that, because they are both extremley similar! Here they are, first one goes like this :
I was with my boyfriend, and we'd been together for 3 yrs, and in the dream i was pregnant (like i am in real life) and we also had our daughter (same as real life), but i noticed he was becoming very distant, and not as loving.
Then, i found out, he had been seeing another girl for 2yrs behind my back! I also found out both my sisters knew about it the whole time, and didn't tell me.
I tryed everything to get him back, threatened that he wouldn't see the baby, and in the dream i even thought about chucking myself down the stairs, so he'd feel sorry for me and come running back.
I met his girlfriend, and she told me her name, which was Monica, and to me i thought she was very ugly! And couldn't understand why he was with her, she also had 2 children, which were not his. But he had finished with me by this time for her, and he just didn't want to know!
Heres my second dream, which i had a few nights later.
I was pregnant (like in real life) and had been with my boyfriend again for about 3yrs. I then found out he was seeing another girl. It really upset me so much. He even had the nerve to bring this other girl to the house, and she stayed over for quite a few days. The thing that hurt me most, was she was very pretty! Tall, lovely hair, big breasts... everything i wasn't! Again in the dream, i'd threaten him with things again to try and win him back. And again, strangely enough i thought about chucking myself down the stairs, but i didn't. I tryed making him jealous by kissing another man, but it didn't work!
In the end, i begged and begged him until he gave in, and he just came back to me as though nothing had happened. I asked him if he minded, and he said no, she was just a fling.
Both dreams, i woke up from feeling absoloutly heartbroken! And i even cryed after having the second dream. They were horrendous, in real life, my boyfriend is very loving & loyal! And he hardly goes out, only when he has to go to work.
I don't think he is cheating, i'm just curious as to what these dreams mean.

Greetings,
I was just looking into some Celtic mythology when mail rang in so I thought I'd come answer..........
Your dreams are more symbolical than anything. Your needing reassurance from your boyfriend. In this time in your life your hormones are building which is causing an inbalance in the brain causing you to have these dreams of worry and if you talk to your boyfriend about maybe spending a day together to ease the tension your feeling you will find the dreams will go away.
So, don't worry to much about the dreams, you just need to re-center yourself maybe meditation will help and your boyfriend giving your flowers would be a nice touch too. HINT
Your body is going through a lot of changes and your going to find with the increased hormones your going to have a lot of very strange dreams..........
Good Luck with the Little One and Safe Journey......................

FGM :hugz: I think what AutumnClair said is true. Those hormonal pregnant dreams can be pretty vivid. I think it sounds as if you're having some self-doubts that affect your confidence, and questioning whether or not you're still lovable to your boyfriend in both dreams. You're afraid of betrayal and abandonment in the first dream, and in the second, just betrayal. Yes, you do need loving reassurance, first and foremost from yourself, but a few hours of cuddling and cooing with your significant other wouldn't hurt, either...

I agree, A_SR, those lyrics could be pretty upsetting to dream and try to figure out, and not just the recurring ones. Unfortunately, I just can't tell much without knowing more about it. What was the general feeling of the dream? Who is the "you" the song refers to (or do you know)?
But on the upside, it reads like it could be a good song, depending on the lyrics. A lot of artists claim their best ideas come to them in dreams. And it could be just that...

I have a question about not just one dream, but a theme that is common in nearly all of my dreams. The places I am at in my dreams are always strange in one of two ways....... 1. The location is actually a combination of two or more familiar places. For instance, I will be on my grandmother's farm in Ohio, but the house will be mine here in Tennessee. Or one room of a house will be from someone elses home...etc. Sometimes the locations become a jumbled mess of several places, outdoors and indoors alike. or 2. The places are fabricated in my dreams, and I return to them once a year or so. These dreams are very emotional for me and I'm not sure why. I have strong feelings in these places, and I know I've been there before, but I have no memories of them other than knowing I've been there. Nothing happens in these dreams...I'm just there. I really appreciate any ideas you might have. Thanks Autumn Clair.

I had a dream question that hasn"t left my mind:
I had a dream a couple of years ago when I was going through a weird time in my spiritual life. I was going through a new age period because of a controling ex-friend of mine. The dream started off very normal and boring then all of a sudden it got extremely vivid. A voice in my head said where do you want to go. My very first instinct was to say to see Hecate. Ifelt like I flew into the underworld where I felt Hecate's immense power. I was so intimitaded that I said I want to see archangel Raphael. That actually felt stranger than Hecate. In fact in the dream I said that I wanted to go back to Hecate and try again but alas I woke up. I think it had to do with a choise between being more pagan or new age. My choise was more pagan without a doubt. Although I am not sure if Hecate is my patron godddess or a symbol of my paganism. Ever since then my friendship with this person waned and had a falling out. for about a year and a half I have been rebuilding my pagan/witch like ways but it hasen't been easy.

I agree with you that the lyrics themselves are dark and foreboding, and for some reason they conjure up for me an image of a shooting, in either a suicide or a robbery... BUT. And this a big BUT! The dream itself isn't necessarily foreboding. I've had dreams in which the beginnings of all kinds of poems or visual images and patterns were given to me as gifts to put down on paper when I woke up with them still fresh in my head. Perhaps in your dream, your friend looking at you intently while playing, was only a way of making you pay attention and take note, sort of a mental "You got that?" so you would remember to write it as you heard it. This is the feeling I get from your dream.
And A SR, when I said in my previous post, "But on the upside, it reads like it could be a good song, depending on the lyrics," I meant to say depending on the MUSIC - sorry for any confusion!
I do hope that helps some.

I always have bizarre dreams. Well, last night, I dreamt that I was taking flying lessons. In between lessons, I had to come on the computer and tell you guys that I might be on MW that much since I was learning to fly an airplane. lol. Honestly, that is the first time that MW popped into a dream.
My analyis of the dream- the flying lesson represents that I need to aim high this upcoming year and have great adventures. Don't be afraid to try new things. And as for the MW part, it looks like I will have another year telling you guys my stories and thoughts. :)

so what about going from dreaming 2-3 times a month (at least remembering them) to dreaming heavily every night for the last 2 months and remembering them when i wake up?
past dream topics?
3 so far about my car (i.e. someone stealing the hubcaps while i was sitting in the car, coming out and finding my car vandalized, usually by punctures in the body although the odd thing in the first one was that i wasn't scared and in the second i didn't see any of the interior of the door. you would think that if someone peeled parts of the car body back you would see the inner workings?)
dreamt that i was pregnant (nope, not that, but definately want to be, just not right time. think i figured this one out ok :))
i can remember some others but they aren't PG....thats obvious too.
my dad said that all the dreams i told him about seemed like they were about control or lack there of....that doesn't settle right with me.
i used to have dreams of tornados and fire when i went to bed upset....yikes!
basically i just can't figure out why i'm dreaming every night so vividly. even my husband has started to dream more and asked for a dream journal for his birthday.
i originally thought that we had "activity" in our bedroom, something that is disrupting the energy there but i dream just as heavy at my parents house too...
any ideas? how about how to tame them a bit so i get a better nights sleep?

I have had problems sleeping my whole life. I always wake up with horrific nightmares. but the ones that get me going always seem to be the same and I have had the same dreams since I was very small only with one small change.. as I have grown older my Image of myself has grown older with it. well here it is:
to start. if anyone has seen DragonBall Z where even the smaller child characters have 6-packs and cut muscles. from when I was small I always had the same physique...
The beginings of my dreams always starts out with me sitting cross-legged on the top of a tall pillar in the middle of some desert somewhere. you know the scene... rolling sand dunes huge rock pillars, red sky at sunset... i seem to be meditating and fuccussing my energies. i see like a fuzz of aura around me and something like a band of light moving slowy from the top of my head down into the ground and dissipating about a foot into the ground. as I meditate more the band of light gets bigger and it seems more powerful. it then starts to extend farther down into the ground of the pillar as it get's stronger.as it starts to get stronger I notice like Small orbs of different colours kind of floating all around me near and far. then the band of light forms some thing like a spark like electricity to it as it travels from the top of my head down at the same time so do the orbs. my electrified band of light now travels down the stone pillar a couple yards before fizzleing out. then, I open my eyes and there is a red light eminating from my eyes that kind of shoots beams of red out either side of my eyes, away from each other. as soon at I open my eyes the orbs that were floating around in what seemed to be harmony devide up by colours and they all turn to either gold and silver or Red and Black. they devide in front of me and buzz around the Red and Black orbs try to get at the silver and gold orbs but I have them protected by an energy shield. I then procede to float up off the pillar and hold out my arms and it seems I am controlling these silver and gold orbs. i make a movement of my arms and they basically begin to fight. slamming into one another with a vengance, black and red vs silver and gold. at this point the one thing i always notice is that i smile.. or it seems to be more of a smirk. some of the orbs smash into one another with such force that they explode. but rather than dissapearing, when they explode they form into like beautiful, as well as ugly, winged creatures i could only describe as angels and demons, some into dragons and some into faeries the angels and demons have massive swords and they continue to fight. i then make a motion with my hands towards the ground and it splits. sometimes when one of the dragons of demons wins one of it's battles it comes at me but i have something of a protective energy shield around me and one of the faeries or angels always comes out of nowhere to fend off the demons if they seem to be penetrating my shield which I then replenish. anyways after the battle has raged on for a while, I always seem to lose control of the silver and god orbs and their subsequent entities. they then seem less interested in protecting me but continue to battle the red and black. but when cirtain deons come at me now they are left un faught. and continue to come at me leaving me to battle them with bolts of energy and lightning. then all of a sudden i am floating back to the pillar and losing altitude and my spells are losing power, my shield can no longer protect me and I am always impailed through the chest by a demon which is when I wake up.
what could this mean?
blessed Be

a long time ago I had a dream that I put on a mask made of someones scull. It transformed me into the beast of a man with a huge double sided battle axe. I made my way to a carnival and was fighting demons dressed like clowns, there was a woman with red hair in the bathroom of a coffe shop, she made me look into the mirror and I saw many different faces from all eras. They all looked like me. She kissed me, lit a cigarette, walked into the staul and dissapeared, then shortly after I got into a fight with police officers trying to shoot my friend. What does this dream mean?

I'm glad Hoot was here for you I usually go off line on weekends to have my time with my family for the week pulls us all in so many directions. I usually won't post when someone else does unless I get a different feel for a dream and in this case I'm glad for Hoot because we see things different and it's good to see two inter. Hoot is more symbolical of dreams and I more psychic but it is also good when the to agree.
We agree there's a psychic feel to this dream. Mine however is a bit different. I have these types of dreams all the time where something is say over and over and that is the key, actually what is being said. However these dreams are like puzzles and only you hold the key to the true meaning. I believe the nine lives and using them up is of the most important and waiting in the car because it repeats in the dream. I believe this dream is cautioning you about how you act in this life. No I'm not saying you had nine lives and were a cat I'm just saying something is worrying you about this life, these dreams do tend to set one off because you feel the energy from this type of dream messaging being sent to you. So, take a look at your life how it is, how you might change it so it's not like the other nine lifes, you've seemed to fall into a pattern and can't get out of them.
On the next full moon meditate on this dream and let what ever thoughts come, come as they may I feel you may get more inside to it's meaning............

There are several things that can be happening here. Symbolically you may be feeling pulled in different directions in your life and it has manifested over into your dreams. If you are waking still feeling tired or un-eased this may be so.
It could also be the fact that your soul has a connection with these places. It could be a reminder of a past life place you visited or journeyed and your soul finds it's way there in your dreams to center itself, calm and peace is how you should be waking if this is so.
Those are just two things, let me know your feelings.

You seemed to have answered your own question. It was in fact a symbolic dream and you have made your chioce....... Nice job.........:colorful:

If you want a nice sleep try incense or flowers even the color blue, I have a lot of dreams myself and sometimes you just need slumber.... But be careful what you use some bring on psychic dreams.
You may want to get a dream dictionary your dreams seem pretty much symbolical.

a long time ago I had a dream that I put on a mask made of someones scull.
Yours will be the next one answered..............

What a symbolic dream!
When we dream, our subconscious dreams come to light- many dealing with our fears and repressed darker thoughts. I think that your dream shows that we each have an animalistic part to us; hence, that's why you turned into a beast like man. You didn't seem human, but more like an animal. In nature, an animal needs to protect itself whether it be a bee with a stinger, a snake with venom, or a camflauged frog. In your dream, you protect yourself in nature with an axe. The axe reminds you that you need to protect and take care of yourself in daily life. How are you taking care of yourself? Are you making sure that you are finding happiness, having a good job to support yourself, surrounding yourself with postive friends and family?
As all ready mentioned, our fears come through in our dreams. Many people have a fear of clowns. Are you scared of them by chance in real life? personally, I think that many people are scared of clowns because they aim to make people laugh, but we realize that these people who are dressed up as clowns cannot always be happy, and we wonder what is beneath their facade- what is really under all their make-up.
Your dream seems dark to me. The woman was trying to tell you that life is not always happy. She was trying to relax in the coffee shop. That's why she was in a cafe and then lit a cigarrete. She kissed you to tell you that you will get through the ups and downs of life by giving you a kiss. Right after she gave you a kiss, you had to defend your friend. She reminded that you that even though there might be problems in the world, you have to fight for what you believe in- this case your loyalty for a friend.

The dream started off as a competition between me and two other friends (I have no idea who they are in real life). We were doing a singing competition, similar to American Idol. My old boss was the judge. We performed in one of those blow-up rooms that little kids can jump around in. They sometimes have them at carnivals and such. The judge picked out outfits for us. The other two girls had very cute outfits. Mine was simply a pair of jeans and a long-sleeved striped shirt. I said that it wasn't fair that they got such nice outfits and asked why mine was so boring. One of the girls simply said, "because you are fat." It was a very nonchalant comment - like "no big deal." I was extremely offended and literally lunged at her and started hitting her in the face and back of the head. She did nothing. Then the judge, my ex-boss, came in and threw me out of the competition. End of dream.
I am seriously confused and need some definite help with this one. I woke up feeling so incredibly horrible about my body. Now I cannot stop thinking that I am fat. For some reason this dream (especially the way the girl said that I was fat, just like it was a plain and obvious fact that no one could deny) has really stuck with me.
Pleazzzzzzzzzzzze help. If you could send me a pm or just post it that would be appreciated too!

Another weird dream here i had lastnight, for someone to interpret... It's not entirely clear to me, so i'll say the bits i remember.
There was and my family, and we were in a location.... where abouts, i can't remember. And people were shooting at us, so we were running trying to find somewhere to hide, when someone shot me right at the bottom of my spine and one at the top of my back. I remember it hurting like hell, but i could actually see the wounds, and see the bullets stuck in them. A bit later, it all turned out to not be real, and we were kinda like auditioning for a movie. But, the bullets were still in me and they were REAL! Some guy tryed picking them out, and i couldn't feel a thing. Then someone told me to get them out, i have to moisturise the area and burn them out!!
Anyways, i woke then, and i thought it was real  so i started feeling my back to see if i had bullets in there, obviously i didn't! This is a really strange dream, wonder if anyone can interpret it for me.

Your dream is very symbolical in how your feeling. There's something bothering you that you may not realize, but as your dream goes on with another and another coming at you so does this, it is something you have not been able to deal with or even something you may feel your alright with but deep inside really are not. And as it keeps continueing so will this inablility to handle it until you let it out.
When your feeling something like this in a dream you need to face the feeling also in your wake state. Your dream is just bringing it to your attention to deal with, almost like tell you a warning {Deal with it before it gets to big} Or it maybe a situation you keep getting into but it's something that continues and you seem to think your okay with it when your really not........

The fact that you're so angry in your dreams and psyical may be that you haven't handled something going on in your life with this person, things may be fine now but it's something you haven't dealt with. And the fact that your trying to get away from it might mean you feel unready to handle it or want to avoid the outcome. Your also feeling that what you say isn't even being taken into consideration that this person isn't hearing you, isn't letting you speak your opinion.
The way you feel during a dream is very important and you need to ask yourself way you feel this way.Acts of violence in a dream can mean frustration in your life.
Needing a change from what is occuring is not always a bad thing and the fact that you say your forced to back back just means that you are realizing this is something that has to be dealt with.:colorful:

I then procede to float up off the pillar and hold out my arms and it seems I am controlling these silver and gold orbs. i make a movement of my arms and they basically begin to fight. slamming into one another with a vengance, black and red vs silver and gold. at this point the one thing i always notice is that i smile.. or it seems to be more of a smirk. some of the orbs smash into one another with such force that they explode. but rather than dissapearing, when they explode they form into like beautiful, as well as ugly, winged creatures i could only describe as angels and demons, some into dragons and some into faeries the angels and demons have massive swords and they continue to fight. i then make a motion with my hands towards the ground and it splits. sometimes when one of the dragons of demons wins one of it's battles it comes at me but i have something of a protective energy shield around me and one of the faeries or angels always comes out of nowhere to fend off the demons if they seem to be penetrating my shield which I then replenish. anyways after the battle has raged on for a while, I always seem to lose control of the silver and god orbs and their subsequent entities. they then seem less interested in protecting me but continue to battle the red and black. but when cirtain deons come at me now they are left un faught. and continue to come at me leaving me to battle them with bolts of energy and lightning. then all of a sudden i am floating back to the pillar and losing altitude and my spells are losing power, my shield can no longer protect me and I am always impailed through the chest by a demon which is when I wake up.
what could this mean?
blessed Be
DragonMareI'm going to take this in bits and pieces and there to put it all together for you. As I'm ready it I get certain feelings pertaining to you being of self growth so try to bare with me here
For some reason you're some what isolated, but this is not a bad thing or a depressing thing it's a secure protected type isolation and being you have had this dream for so long it seems you started protecting yourself at a young age. There could be many reasons for it lack of a parent, unsure of yourself, shy maybe, not wanting others to laugh at you. Only you know the true reason behide this but it has lasted many years. As you have grown older you have become more aware and you have gained knowledge, the light around you growing.
This dream is trying to tell you something with it's out come, you shouldn't dought yourself because you'll do it your whole life wonder, worrying and you won't get far with that type of mind set. And You know this that's what the orbs and lights and colors are all about here, an inner struggle to find yourself. Trust in yourself that you know what's right for you or this inner demon will eat you up all your life and you will be defeated in the end.
But this is not a prophectic dream, it's symbolical with a warning insight.......
This is something you can change, don't let others tell you what you think, how you should be because only you truely know, you know that you have a great energy, power, persistence and alchemy of consciousness these are those colors the red, black, silver, gold. You have this all in you and their trying to get out with a little more belief in you...........It's time to not be so protected so isolated it was good in the being but now it's time to slowly let that go..............:colorful:
Well, that's what I get out of your dream. Dreams that are with you for a long time year after year really have a message in them. And only you can really understand the meaning.
Maybe you'd like to pick up a dream dictionary it covers symbolical meanings really well. But I tend to stay away from them. I don't believe everyone dreaming about the color blue has the same meaning. Each symbol holds it's own many for each person........
I almost freaked here........I'm typing this out and thinking, feeling it's flowing out and my computer went bye bye page something else showed up. I thought I lost it. I got lucky.

Okay, well, recently I've been having these strange half- nightmares. They'll begin, end, or have a long interval of calm and normalness, then suddenly it takes a turn for the worse.
The first one (of three, in a row of nights) began when I was just sat down normally in front of the television in my living room one afternoon. I switched onto the English news channel, BBC News 24. Suddenly, the newsreporter said in a matter of fact way something like "house prices for N. Street (my street) have shot up after the discovery of several mummified children in alcoves in the basements". My house has a basement, so I went down there in this dream and (predictably) what did I find? This alcove in the wall had appeared and this hideous badly done mummified child was stuffed into the alcove.
The next one began when I "woke up" in the middle of the night and logged onto Mystic Wicks. This dream seemed intensely real at the time. I looked at a (non existant in the real world) post in the New Pagans section about someone who had done 'good' magick, but it had taken a horrible turn for the worse. I stopped in the dream to ponder upon it and cringe a little, then I turned round and on my bedroom stairs was this little gremlyn creature. For some reason, I seemed to recognise this creature like I knew it very well. Suddenly, the creature turned it's head away sharply and I got that "oh no, here comes something bad" feeling that I always get the split second before a half decent dream becomes a nightmare. The creature turned round and had these horrible red bloodshot eyes (a stereotypical "evil" creature). Then it chased me round my room and downstairs. I remember rocketing off the walls like a mad cat, with natural but all the same... supernatural grace that I vaguely remember having in "real" life as a small child. In the dream I burst into my parents room with the creature still chasing me, and shouted for help, but my voice faded till I couldn't be heard. Then, and this is the wierd bit, I remember thinking in the dream "oh no, this just has to be a bad dream... but I can feel everything around me, it can't be!" it was like I had accepted the alternate reality of when I was a small child, reguarly chased by gremlyns and floating downstairs like what seemed to happen to me consciously when I was a small child.
The next dream. I can't remember it as clearly, but it was wierd in that it challenged a lot of stereotypes of "when monsters attack". I was exploring through a graveyard with an animal by my side (I can't remember what animal). Suddenly, in broad daylight (I find that significant), all these zombies came out from behind their graves and closed in around us. We ran into another section of the graveyard when suddenly, we were attacked by zombie sheep! Then, and I can't remember how on earth it changed to this, me and my companion were shopping for clothes in Paris!!! I can't remember what happened after we met someone in this designer flat with minimalist furniture and a very small ladder upstairs.
So that's it. One point I'll make is that I VERY rarely have nightmares. These are the first three in about one year, and they're happening in one row. I'm not sure what they mean, but I'm sat here in the middle of the night typing on Mystic Wicks and I get this awful feeling that if I turn round there'll be this icky gremlyn on my stairs.

Your dream is trying to tell you something about how you truely feel inside. You may not have seemed this way on the outside but deep inside these are your fears, your doubts, your worries on how people are preceiving you. You associated this with an old employer with seeing yourself as simple and boring. For some reason your self confidence is down. Has something happened recently that might have brought these hidden inner feelings to the surface?
The fact that you noticed this dreams meaning is a very good sign, you don't seem to like the way you are but simple is not boring. Can you recall the things that have happened maybe within three days before this dream occured? The smallest thing could have set this type of dream off, they are very common. Most of the time this type of dream has to do with something that has occured to you. So that is something you might want to keep in mind.
Ask yourself what has happened recently, did someone say something you didn't agree with, thought as unsensitive? How your feeling is a big part of one's dreams. Most dreams are symbolical and psychological. Maybe you'd like to think about keeping a dream journey for a while see if you see a pattern forming....... When something bothers you no matter how small it is write it down. Look at yourself in the mirror and write down what first comes to mind see if your dreams are being effected by what is being said or felt. Once you see a pattern you can then work on what is setting the dreams of self doubt off and the dreams will fade.

I've never asked someone what my dreams mean before but for some reason I kind of feel compelled to do so now. Probably because this one confuses me so much. Anyway, here goes:
I'm outside of a large house in a courtyard of sorts in front of it. there's a circular area of longer grass and sticks with trees in a semicircle bordering the south of the courtyard. The sun is out, but the shade for the area is really weird, its kind of jagged where there's nothing to make it that way and the sunshine cuts across a little less than half the circular grassy area. I'm there with a guy about my age (though in this dream I'm younger than I am in real life...I think I'm about twelve or thirteen in this dream) and I'm gathering sticks and dried pieces of grass and collecting them in a box with a small opening for them. Its a small box but it never seems to get full. And for some reason I'm only able to collect the sticks and grass in the shady area, I can't even walk into the sunny area. The boy with me always wants to go into the sunny area and I have to keep him with me while I gather the sticks. A little later its night time and I come back to the same place. There's a much younger boy there waiting for me (he looked about seven) and he led me through a gate I hadn't seen earlier into a section of a city. There was the back side of a pub ahead of me and a factory to my right. The gated wall continued to my left and behind me. I was supposed to be meeting the other boy I mentioned earlier here, but I couldn't see him anywhere. I felt very frightened and uneasy. The young boy kept pointing to a place where he said the older boy was but I couldn't see him. All of a sudden the young boy disappeared and men came out of the factory with flashlights and I had a feeling they were after me. That's when I woke up.
Anyways, that's it, and I haven't been able to make any sense of it, although I'm sure its rife with symbolism for those who are looking for it, I haven't been able to make heads or tails of it myself.

Last nights dream:
I dreamed I was playing an old PC game called Alley Cat (which I had played in real life a lot of times), where the final scene is that the male cat climbs up floors of hearts until he catches the female cat on the top. As soon as he did, I stood before a high brown door with many windows on it, each window signifying a level of the afterlife as in Dantes Divine Comedy. Then the window named Purgatory slid, and the door opened. I came swimming into a blue, watery room full of small white bubbles. And there were a host of friends of mine, all likewise swimming in the blue.
Cool dream! I particularly liked the bit about the male cat trying to get the female cat while climbing up a floor of hearts. That part of the dream makes me think that you are searching for a partner. It almost seems like you are the cat because right after the male cat caught up to the female cat, you appear in the dream. I think that you want a partner to take interest in you because this male cat in the dream is climbing up not a typical way, but a floor of hearts. Are you really wanting a relationship at the moment? I ask, since you see so many windows next in your dream. These windows are like opportunities or other options for you. Out of these choices, you pick purgatory- seems quite stagnant. Look at the choices that you are offered. Be cautious that you don't pick the one that leads into a dull purgatory. If you do make a bad choice though, be it in a relationship or even a career option, don't feel entirely hopeless. After all, you will have friends with you just as in your dream your friends were swimming with you in the blue. :)

Are you working too hard and not having enough free time to yourself by chance? In this dream, you do this endless, mindnumbing, meaningless task. Take a break this weekend and enjoy yourself even though you might have a busy schedule and a lot going on in your life at the moment. Make yourself free and enter that sunlight- figuratively of course, since it might be chilly. A little break will be good for you, but not too long, since you don't want to turn into the boy in your dream. I noticed that in the dream he didn't offer to help you with your work at all. Instead the boy just walked into the sunny area as if he didn't have a worry in the world. I think that the younger boy was your guide in the dream. He has this certain innocence about him since he's younger. He wants the best for you. That's why he was trying to take you to this other guy who hangs out in the sunny area. Right when this younger boy disappeared in your dream, trouble emerges- men after you. Imagine that the younger boy is leading you in your life towards less stressful times. :sunny:

I don't dream on a regular basis but when I do dream, some are so detailed that when it actually happened it's almost like deja vu. My last dream was a bit more bizzare, I was preganate (at the time I had the dream I thought I might be) and I had gone into the bathroom and some how the babies (twins) ended up coming out. They looked really small like they were premature, one was non responsive and the other was so sickly looking and looked like it was having a hard time breathing, and then I woke up. Anyhow the dream freaked me out so much that I didn't tell anyone about it, and I ended up not having a period for three months (turned out I wasn't pregnant). Well anyhow about two months after I had the dream I found out one of the women I worked with had been taken to a specialitized hospital because they found out that one of her twins she had been pregnant with had passed away, and they had to take them out to give the other a chance. This was about four months ago and the one baby is still in the hospital with difficulties breathing on it's own. My first question is why do dreams like this happen to some people. I had another dream about finding a defanged diamond back rattled snake in my back yard and about two months later my cat were playing with a defanged diamond back rattle snake. What are the chances of finding that in the wild? In my dreams whatever is going on, happens to me, but in reality it happens to someone I'm close to or work with. What is wrong with me? I've heard of people having dreams like this, but even my mom is questioning if maybe I might have some sort of gift. It has been like this ever since I can remember. TKS in advance for any replies.

I'm sorry your having a problem with excepting your visions, if they're coming to you only in dreams it's because your mind is more open to except them in that state. It is scarey at times and it is hard to understand but if you like I'll talk with you. I think a good place for you to start is in Psychic Dream Discussion I started. I cover the 6 types of psychic dreams and it will answer alot of your questions about what type of visions your having and what happens, when you know this it won't be so scarey.
I don't call myself a psychic though to many people run around calming their psychic and scaming people I believe if you truely have the gift you should give the messages willingly and free........
A lot of mine are like yours and your meant to guide others and trust me they will warn you when something is going to happen too you, that's the gift that is given to you for being the messanger for them..........
Look over that thread I've covered several of them and if you have questions after that you can post me right in there. Or back here........
I don't mind helping and understand them is the key.........
Why some people are given this gift is unknown some think it's because of our status level from our past lives. Some people are more open to the idea of a connection to a world beyond, other realms and that willingness to except the message is what opens this door. If you wish not to receive them then your way of thought must change because it has already been seen that you can except the message. And believe me I shut them out but I felt pull to receive them, you wonder is it over, have they stopped and with just that small train of thought they still squeeze in maybe one month here maybe three months down the road but if a message is important enough and has an urgency it will get through.

Yeah, i tried to interpret your dream the other night, so much symbolism going on. Yeah, it's always nice to know what someone else sees in a reading, dream anyalsis, etc. When I have a dream, I usually try to interpret my dream and examine how it made me feel and why I think that I had that particular dream. I usually end up attributing my dream to some instant in my conscious thought and how this event has an effect on my subconscious thinking.

It's been a lil while since I've been able to post, but I wanted to tell you that I appreciate your insight on my dreams. I think that both of your ideas may be true, as some of these dreams do leave me feeling un-eased, while others leave me feeling peaceful and energized. Thanks again for your help. :)

NightBathen,
i'm not sure about the rest of the dream (it may well be your subconscious) but the part of the "demons dressed like clowns" in the carnival, i do not believe was part of your subconscious. I also believe that the many faces was a look at your past.
There are some who believe that when we dream, we are travelling through astral, and sometimes in doing so people end up in other worlds (what seem to be lucid for either how real they feel or for the participant being aware in the dream that it was a dream thus exerting control over it at the time).

Death - Rejoining the Cosmos
In this dream I'm fiddling with something in a room with a black canopy bedframe. I'm waiting for one of my closest friends to come over. I look at a clock (I had in my bedroom when I lived in Florida) on the wall. I move it with my mind. I put it back. My friend shows up. I tell her to watch for a moment and I do it again with the mind moving clock thing. This time it comes towards us hovering solidly over the bed. I lose my concentration and it falls to the bed. It slides off the bed and hits the floor, breaking; time stopping at 12:15.
We walk around the bed to a safe where I pull out something that looks like a set of bagpipes but has surges of red going through it and instead of pipes are tentacles. It was a weapon crafted from the tentacles of eyeball beings known in certain types of role playing games as beholders but the being from which the weapon was made I had called a 'cyber beholder'. Anyways, I was supposed to manifest physical duplications of the weapons and store two of them in the safe, along with myself, so that my friend could use the weapon on the cyberbeholders as they approached. My purpose or pseudo purpose in the dream was already clear. They came too soon though, and I didn't have time to get in the safe with the weaponry (from the outside the safe looked small, but the inside of the safe was actually a limitless amount of space as big as any regular sized room). I watched as my friend shot two fire pulses at these creatures and killed two. One had gotten past her defensive line and moved slowly around the darkest parts of the room. It crept about a table to which I was on the other side.
Somehow it got a hold of my leg with its tentacles and tried dragging me towards it. This freaked me out so I kicked to freedom and ran as fast as I could. Suddenly I stopped in my tracks wondering why when I knew I had the capability to stop the thing. So I turn around and gaze at the creature and by my very gaze it shrivels up and drops lifelessly to the floor. While that's all well and good, it was something I wasn't supposed to do and I know this because after I killed it, I too dropped lifelessly to the floor. I stood and looked down at my body. It was very strange dying in a dream like that. Suddenly every detail in the room turned to a dark mass, and I was surrounded by darkness. Then small light sources started appearing in the dark room and it looked as though I was standing in a room full of stars. A great light was moving along the right side of the wall to the right of the door, revealing silhouettes of trees where walls should be. As it came closer to the doorway everything got brighter, and then this ball of light shoots straight through the doorway and into me. It had rejoined with me, or I with it.

I was driving about with some friends, I've had this dream before. We're gathered at a house and then we go driving about, but I have a feeling there's a place we should return to, because I don't know where my luggage is.. and just as i think it we turn down a dirt road and lo and behold there it is. And I say.. "oh that's where I left it."
Then I get out to go gather the amethyst geodes ... very large fragments of them off to one side of the road, where there is some grass. But in this dream it is different than before.
I look closer at where some of the fragments split off and there is a pool of something where one is sitting. It looks like water, very plausible for the region were in, esp. just after a rain. But there's something else. The amethyst piece has been bleeding into the water. Blood from a stone? Strange. There are other people.
In the dream before that is like this they were in a different car. In the dream I have now, they are in our car. My exgf is driving. So I gather my luggage and geodes and put them in the trunk. Some guy I was friends with, his geodes are also strung about. But he needs to get them not me. There's now a house on the horizon (this is also different from the previous dream like it).
It looks like it might be a frat/sorority house on the outside, but I go in anyways (even tho I strongly oppose frats and sororities). Its a household full of black men and women(who were all voudoun priests and priestesses), and one of them approaches me and starts ranting about an ankh of something or other.. its an Egyptian ancient artifact. I ask "what?"
And she holds up some sort of tarot card with an ankh on it, only it wasn't a tarot card.
She then tells me that its a powerful tool which somehow managed to get into the hands of so in so, who's name escapes me, but it was someone I knew, and because of that he would be able to summon an old Loa (voudoun deity/spirit), but this one was particularly powerful.
Apparently by that admission, another such tool reached the hands of a woman (who I knew as not to be trusted) that would enable her to invoke the consort of the first loa mentioned. She was very adamant about the fact that these things needed to be taken away from them, but particularly the ankh.
Then I hear one of the voudoun priests in the background discussing an african word he had originally thought to have meant "lawyer" but was corrected as another priest told him it meant colour or something. The priestess who first approached me gives me a stack of these cards and other artifacts and then I left.
I got back in the car with everyone and i asked one of the prissy ones who had lived next door to me and my ex in the dream if she was going to throw a party afterwards and she said yeah and i told her well if ya need anything don't hesitate to ask. She was very hesitant of even inviting us at all, and i turn to my exgf and say doesn't that just figure - giving them a lift and we're not even invited.
In another, earlier part of the dream, I walked through a marketplace and came upon someone I used to know, an exbf, who just stood there stonefaced and without movement.
I looked at him from different angles as i walked but he just didn't see me -as though he himself were in a different world. I didn't stop to chat- I just kept walking.

Death Rebirth Dream. Do you think it a past life? I find it was well written that I could follow a long well and you did come to the same conclusion as I did. 12 15 to me is more like a time frame or age frame where all this started to happen but at the end your inner self your ID (Pyschology) has thought things about yourself, you at first didn't want to confront it maybe you didn't feel ready but then you realized you could and did you grew which gave you a new awareness and I feel your on a journey now with this new awareness the tress where walls should be.
Nicely done...........:colorful:

For some reason your still going through a time of anxiety. The whole being shot is a very stressful dream. You may not be aware of this but during pregnancies woman are very pyschic and intuitive so you are definately picking up on something that is bothering you. It doesn't have to be anything big it could be just the little everyday these. I think it might help you if you tried to re-center yourself try to focus on positive things, calm things try this for a few days for me and let me know.

It wasn't a past life. 1215 is not an age frame. at least not in this case. i didn't really start to get anything like this until i was 17 or so. The dream has always sort of struck me as a message which was meant to be understood in terms that when i die i'll always return to the cosmos and that it is truly an endless cycle.
I think you've hit on part of it.. not thinking i could but then realizing and doing. Interestingly enough it never strikes me as a lucid dream because i don't seem to possess the awareness that i'm dreaming. it seems more real to me than what i'm doing now - typing to you about it.
what i forgot to include was when i realized i died i think the response was "ah damn. i died!" don't know if that helps you in any way or not.
Thanks for the interpret nonetheless.

because I generally only remember bits here and there.
The other night I had a dream where I was missing a year of my life. Not that I couldn't remember anything in that year, simply that it was like I'd jumped forward a year.
The missing year was from about a week before christmas '03 to just before christmas '04.
I was complaining about this to my closest friend, Lauren, and seemed really distressed about... hmmm.. let's see. I can't remember clearly if I was more distressed about missing my birthday or if it was that I was supposed to be a year older than I technically was.
That's all that I can remember.

---I just had this one today, I usually dream vivid and very large but this one is just plain odd!!!
---I was walking down a tight, narrow winding hill carrying a car door with the window up... The door was off the 1st car my boyfriend and I had, some 18yrs ago... I was wakling along with it sideways, looking at the glass close up and seeing all kinds of freaky ghostly images, but nothing that really looked like anything...
Then I'm not walking, I'm clinging and it's attached to the car, the cars driving along, still seeing just swirling ghostly images in black and white...
Then the car gos down a hill and to a stright road, the window rolls down and it's my {X} driving the car, looked like he did when we first met...
He was talking non-stop nd driving, I couldn't make out anything he was saying however, it's like his mouth was full of cotton...
Then we get to a crossroads and another car met us crossing the intersection, it was some kind of bizar low to the ground dragster car... Looked like something out of an old cartoon really, but was flat primer black... My {X's} voice became clear and I heared him say the word "devil or devils", then being at the crossroads clicked in my brain...
The car sped forward, zooming past the weired primer-black car, but I stepped off it as something spooked me about how fast it was going...
---When I stepped off to the road, it felt like wind was blowing up my pantlegs, then I was wearing huge oversized overhauls... The wind blowing them up so high that I could barely see over the bib part...
Then I got them pulled down right and was walking along just fine, then out of no where my heart did a duboule ker-thump and I took off running as fast as I could... As I'm running I wonder WTF, why the hell am I running and what exactly am I running from...
I try slowing down but am going fast, after a few tries I start slowing down and see a shadow of something comming up behimd me pretty fast... I spin around to see who it is , but no ones there...
Instantly I'm off running again and becomming very irritated that I'm doing so, spin around really fast again after seeing this shadow...
Comming up quick carrying a huge sythe is a grim reaper/death charactor... Only theres something really really odd about it, it seems to be running strange, almost tripping over it's own feet, with a kind of odd wiggel to it's run as if disabled somehow... It runs at me and I just stand there looking at it, trying to figure it out... When it see's that I'm not running away , it takes off up a steep hill...
I toss lines around it and have it bound up and laying on the grassy hilside, it turns into my childhood friend Lisa... I ask her why in the hell she's running after me like that and trying to scare me???
---Then the scene shifts and I'm talking to Lisa, but she's now laying on a box inside a small shed, she seems totally out of it... I ask her more why she's doing that, and she mumbles sleepily something I can't understand... Then this freaky guy steps up to the shed door, looked like he had on layers of masks, with one buldged out blue eye... He tried to grab my arm and I tell him to back the {F} up, he leaves right away... But when I look back to Lisa, she's gone and in her place is my older sister... She looked all kinds of sneeky, telling me I needed to get a modem, because she's got a telephone... I'm like huh??? that didn't make any sence... Then she says that if I had a modem she could contact me, I backed up from her feeling uncertain suddenly, then felt a little creeped out but didn't know why...
As I stepped from the shed, she laid down and fell sound to sleep...
---The dream ended with me looking at open doors to a VERY old almost rotted out shed, with old metal rafter brackets swinging... There was only a cupoule that still had intact boards up, the rest of the boards were haging from the brackets, all swinging and making an ery creaking sound...
---THE END---

What is a nightmare?
A nightmare is a very distressing dream which usually forces at least partial awakening. The dreamer may feel any number of disturbing emotions in a nightmare, such as anger, guilt, sadness or depression, but the most common feelings are fear and anxiety. Nightmare themes may vary widely from person to person and from time to time for any one person. Probably the most common theme is being chased. Adults are commonly chased by an unknown male figure whereas children are commonly chased by an animal or some fantasy figure.
Who has nightmares?
Just about everyone has them at one time or another. The majority of children have nightmares between the ages of three or four and seven or eight. These nightmares appear to be a part of normal development, and do not generally signal unusual problems. Nightmares are less common in adults, though studies have shown that they too may have nightmares from time to time. About 5-lO% have nightmares once a month or more frequently.
What causes nightmares?
There are a number of possibilities. Some nightmares can be caused by certain drugs or medications, or by rapid withdrawal from them, or by physical conditions such as illness and fever. The nightmares of early childhood likely reflect the struggle to learn to deal with normal childhood fears and problems. Many people experience nightmares after they have suffered a traumatic event, such as surgery, the loss of a loved one, an assault or a severe accident. The nightmares of combat veterans fall into this category. The content of these nightmares is typically directly related to the traumatic event and the nightmares often occur over and over. Other people experience nightmares when they are undergoing stress in their waking lives, such as difficulty or change on the job or with a loved one, moving, pregnancy, financial concerns, etc. Finally, some people experience frequent nightmares that seem unrelated to their waking lives. These people tend to be more creative, sensitive, trusting and emotional than average.A lot of people have been asking about nightmares so I thought this would be a good place to put it being you have had three . When You want answers to dreams ask yourself these FIVE things:
1.Who is the main charters in the dream?
2.What is the theme of the dream?
3.When does it take place?
4.Where does it take place?
5.Why? Why are you now dreaming this? (WHY is the most IMPORTANT question a long with the most important sense FEELINGS.)
Many dreams come from a recent significant event.

Ask yourself the five W's and see what you come up with.
This out come for the new year looks rather unknown to you, maybe you haven't set any goal for the new year or your just not wondering where you should be in life at this point exspecially the age, you think you should know. I'm new to this site, so pardon me if I'm not completely accurate on everything I do. But this dream IS accurate. Pardon the grammar too (if there's any!!!) ^_^'
I was walking (in my backyard) to our bloodhounds pen that we keep him in. There's a row of about 5 pine trees that block the view of his pen from our back door. Well, I was walking toward the pen, and I went between two pine trees and there was a man squatting down. He had a cowboy hat, leather boots, a jacket (that I couldn't see clearly), and jeans on. His head was down so I couldn't see his face but I asked what he needed and he asked something like,"Is your mother okay?" Before I could answer, I looked over to our bloodhounds' pen and saw a white husky looking dog jumping around in there. Then I saw our bloodhound Doc, and at first I thought his leg was cut off. But then he moved and I found out that a weed had been hiding it. Anyway, I looked up at the sky (which had now gotten very dark and gloomy) and out of a kind of "hole" surrounded by lightening came what looked like a giant PLANARIAN!!! It flew through the sky and over our house and me. I turned around and ran back to the house and said to myself,"Oh no, Rose!" Rose is a character of a video game I know called, 'Legend of the Dragoon.' I ran back to the back door but the "flying planarian" was clear on the other side of town. Then I heard it make this unusual noise that sounded like my bloodhound...well, baying I guess. So I tried to make that noise and it came out IDENTICAL! I saw the "flying planarian" slowly curve around and fly back too me. So, I rushed into the door. But I looked behind me to make sure nothing was in the way and there was my Grandmother's puppy, surrounded by growling coyotes. I whistled for him to come in, and he did. THen I turned around and my cat, Neptune, was sitting there! I think I expected him to talk, but he didn't. Then I rushed back inside and went to our dresser and opened up the second shelf down and pulled out the camera. Then I ran back to the back door (but didn't go out) and I snapped a picture of the giant planarian JUST as it came around and was in full view. The sun was setting behind it as well (remember it was dark and gloomy). I tried to get another, but it went around the side of the house.
And it was over. But the most unusual thing is, there IS a camera in that second shelf down. Sorry for it being so long!!! ^_~

Grettings and welcome to my thread.I'm going to tell you I've been a seer most my life so the first things about this dream I want you to look at is the man. Start a dream journal and note as much of this dream that you can. The man asked you how your mother is? This is a connection being made someone wants to know how she is. With something like this you look at three to four days in each direction before the dream then after. Even the smallest thing like a headache can have a meaning.. Has she been sad, feeling lonely, or stressed from everyday things? Couldn't see the face did the vioce sound farmilar? It sounds like a survival dream that means someone on the other side had a purprose for asking about her it doesn't have to be anything serious so don't start worrying they do that even if a person is stressed and just want you to help ease her days and get her to relax but it could also mean the other so ask questions and she'll tell you if she's just been tired or not feeling well. You could call these people a spirit guide it doesn't have to be a relative asking. People on the other side look in on everyone and you don't have to fear them they are good enities filled with pureness and love they are there to help........
Second take a look at the huskie , have you seen it before in dreams? It sounds like maybe an animal spirit the fact the there are a lot of animals in the dream is that animals can pick up on things before we can so watch your animals if they start howling or acting strange like wanting to be around your mom would be a sign something is up. Next the object that takes your attention off your mom this could be something like you being to busy to notice something being wrong. Don't worry I can't stress that enough this type of dream has a message and it might not happen right away they don't always and it could even be two months from now but their asking you to look more closely at her on how she is. It doesn't have to be a health thing it could be that she just needs to laugh, they like seeing people happy and filled with love.
I do have a Psychic dream discussion thread here you might want to look at but I can only tell you my interpretation of the dream the fact that her not feeling scared or fearing things is a good sign, feeling are very important. In fact this dream could even have another meaning so hold on to that camera...........But my first thing is when a dream asks about someone or talks about someone I always clear that up first because they just don't come over to say hello they have a purpose. There is a thread here about animal guides too see if you can't find the huskie meaning in there.................
Sometimes were not meant to change anything but to guide, your mom may just need guidance for something going to happen.:colorful:
Safe journey.........

This dream is one of those that seem to last all night long.
I am searching for him, running scared, the whole time...
Something is wrong, the people who I ask, and they are very few in such a large place. (and they are all alarmed as well, about whatever it is that's wrong) woulld not give me an answer, to where he is or any info.
something bad has happened in the area, I'm not sure what...
I just know I'm scared and trying to find him.
I think i tripped, on my skirt tail. Maybe from being so big pregnate and running, which is not an easy or safe thing to be doing.
It seems that all of a sudden I am totally alone in this place, before I go up the stairs, which are kind of a large spiral staircase. We lived upstairs.
I remember feeling so alone when i lay there dying, wondering where he is and what has become of him.
The shops were a china shop of some sort. And I remember a bakery, and a merchantile. There were other shops, but i don't remember what they were. I was going in & out searching.
Seemed strange that these shops were inside this mansion. Strikes me strange as I'm dreaming it as well. (bewildering)
But also a feeling of familuarity.
The dress was white with purple polka dots and trim.
And I had dark brown hair, pulled up in some sort of knot, with trendils hanging down.

[QUOTE=~*FloraCove*~] It's interesting that you come to me with a dream like this just when I'm reading a Royal Duty, it's about the Butler to Diana. And In his book he talks alot about the Palace and working for the Queen.
I believe this might be a past life of yours and the fact that you lived up stairs would mean you were either born in a royal family or married into this family. And yes they do have shops and so much more in these places even their own post office. So it leads me to believe this is a life you have led, your were pregnant so I would hope you were married to this man because that would not have gone over well. Why everything is so confusing, do you think the Palace is under attack with everyone armed? That's what I'm thinking...... And the fact that you died looking and wondering where this man is and why would that be coming up now would only mean it deals with something happening now, triggering the memory. Can you think of anything in your life happening that would bring this memory to light?

I never knew that about shops being inside of places like that!
There was a post office as well, but no one there. Lots of the shops had no one in them. Which was another thing that scared me.
I think that most everyone was gone, the reason for so few people.
Like shop keepers...older people. I remember one man, elderly gentleman with white hair and mouchdash. Why I remember him I don't know, he couldn't tell me anything either, I think I felt sorry for him that he was trying to load things up in a wagon by himself.
I don't remember seeing any weapons, or soldiers. And I don't remember any explosives going off.
As far as some type of invasion, but it could be, that being so frightened that I paid them no attention. I wasn't afraid for my life, just worried about him. (finding him was the main objective)
I do believe we were married, no one treated me shamefully, maybe they didn't know, where he was. Maybe they were keeping it from me, I'm not really sure.
they wouldn't tell me anything.
I also remember thinking that there should have been somone there to help me, but I was alone.
I remember coming down the stairs in the begining, like I just woke up and found him gone.
I also worried about the baby as I lay there dying, knowing it would die to.
As far as something going on now, it may be that my boyfriend is away and has been since Oct. 21, 2001 and will be home to stay, May this year.
I've had to take care of the children alone, which is hard but very do-able.
Money has been hard to come by, but you don't stop living because of not having money.

It sounds to me that your being alone with the kids has just brought this past life to light. And the fact that your alone brought you that feeling back. In the dream everyone being gone could me that they just want away. The Palace runs on a skelton crew when the royal family goes out of town for sometime and you might not have realized he was going somewhere, maybe something came up and he had to go and you just didn't see a note he left you explaining this, it was a sad accident for you though and I don't feel know that it holds a meaning but just a sad feeling coming to light..........Do you remember your name that would be interesting?

Here's one for you...
its not a recent dream, but still to this day its very vivid & sorta freaky...
ok, when I was younger (about 12 or 13) I started having these dreams that I'm being crucified..
I used to feel being thrown by someone onto the cross, then having nails driven into my wrists (I actually saw in my dream the way someone was holding my hands and another person had this big nail & hammer, and they hammer the nail into my wrists).. I remember screaming, but everything is silent... And everything around me is sorta orangey/yellowish... and theres shadows of people i cant see the people's faces...
Then I remember feeling being lifted up (as in the cross being lift up)...
And then I'd wake up...
The interesting thing is - I grew up in Israel up untill then (i only moved to the US when I was 14, and only then I found out what was chrsitianity cause that was the first time I had christian friends... in Israel where I lived, everyone and everything was Jewish... the only christian places are Jaffa, parts of Jerusalem and Nazareth)...
I sorta forgot about these dreams up till a couple of years ago.. I sorta have a strong "thing" for Christianity, especially Catholicism & the Saints.. I have NO idea where its coming from though... I love everything Catholic (except for the religious dogma lol).. I'm planning on getting my Masters in Christian Theology & History.
But umm yeah... I never really understood these dreams, since I didnt even know at the time what being crucified meant or when it was used & why... I just had these dreams... Then they stopped...
You're welcome to try and interpert that baby!
Blessings,
Michelle

Hi Rhaven. I think that your boyfriend cares about you. His caring nature reveals why he would kiss your feet and and cut your nails. Kissing is a sign of affection while cutting your nails shows that he is trying to take care of you. Have you noticed that we take care of those that we care about through grooming? For example, a mother might brush a daughter's hair even though she is capable of doing it herself or animal might groom another to show that it's in love.

This is very interesting, I read about stigmata's where people feel how Jesus felt actually get his injuries and to be honest I have even had this time of dream. You feel the pain of everything and wake up wonder what the heck is going on. Being a seer I believe we tap into a time even a persons energy and feel what they feel. Now to say I somehow tapped into Jesus dying on the cross. NO I'm saying it is a possibility but I begive it's more of a time in history we are tapping into, when people were crucified. The only other explanation I have is that I was crucified and reincarnated but I don't get that feeling from this type of dream. I can usually pin them down to the 6 types of psychic dreams and The ESP retrocognitive dreams are the closest I have found to this dream being I'm not waking up with blood on me.
You relive an event that has already taken place in the past but you are not familiar with in your conscious state. They resemble psychometry experiences. In retrocognitive dreams the dreamer does not have a choice of direction, they are unexpected and you don't have to be at a location which the dream refers.

OK, last nite I had a very interesting vision, which I believe might have been a past life of mine and I would like to get y'alls input on this....
I usually meditate before going to sleep to help me relax and to open my mind. I've been going pretty deep lately, and this happened.... I saw something like a movie screen in my mind. A girl was running up the stairs of a manor type house. The stair was one of those oval kind that circle up between floors (hope that makes sense) and had a very beautiful bannister with a carpet tread on the stairs that was an oriental pattern. She was dressed in a long white silk dress, perhaps from the 1700's or 1800's, I am not sure. She was crying and talking to an older man who was following her. The man was tall and going bald with silver hair. He had a very intelligent and kind face, but he was angry and confused at the girl's behavior. She was telling him something in a very definitive manner, but I never had a clear look at her face. Suddenly, it was as they both sensed my presence, because they both looked at me at the same time. The girl had my face!!! They both looked annoyed and confused and the girl (me?) made a hand motion and suddenly the "movie screen" went black, like you turned off the tv or something. About the same time, I came out of my meditation. I was not asleep, and it wasn't a dream. but was this person really me? Was this a glimpse of a past life? I could never really hear them well but it sounded like they were speaking French. In my vision, I could hear both French *and* understand them at the same time (I speak only a little French and could definitely never be considered fluent).
I would appreciate any input on this..... :)

I always have vivid dreams but usually i dont remember them in their entirity. One dream that I had I remembered everything. It was a while ago but I'll do my best with everything i can remember. First i want you to know i have never done any drugs (LOL) or was reading anything strange at thet time.
I was on a spaceship with my stepsister (now exstepsister). We were walking in the hall when this moving ball came past us. It was silver and reflected colors when it moved. Other passengers on the ship started dying so i hid my stepsister in an empty room. There was this antique armoire in the room with a chair inside so i put her in there. I told her i'd come back when i thought it was safe. I came back for her and the light was broken. I went to the armoire and the door was open. She wasn't in there. I found a candle and there she was smushed into a pancake like in the cartoons. She was only an inch thick. I ran to our parents' room to tell them she was dead. The door to their room was open and solid wood. They looked at me funny because they had locked it when they went to bed. I heard footsteps and the doorhandle being turned. I jumped to the door and locked it. The person didn't get in but soon returned. This time the door unlocked. There in the doorway was an elderly lady, with a black skirt, maroon sweater, stockings that scrunched at her ankles and orthopedic shoes. She was carrying bags of frozen bread. She put the frozen bread on our backs and i felt my bones starting to crush. She gave me dad three balls and told him to break three of the four window panes in the door (they weren't there before). He broke the first and second but the third one just bounced off because his arm broke. I woke up then.

It's interesting what your talking about.I was justing talking with FloraCove about a dream she had about a past life. Yours is interesting as it came in a meditation. But you too should copare notes to how the place looked because yours sounds similar to hers. I believe this was a past life experience. The girl look like you, everything was clear and you were understanding them, the fact that you were watching them and they saw you is interesting this is rare but not un heard off. Could you speak with them? Visions of seeing each other happens but to communicate with them is very rare hardly ever. So it would be interesting if you could some how find a way to get back into there and try to speak with them ask something simple like what's your name, or where am I? You might be able to trace it back to a time in history when it occured. Yes, people have done that........

Let me get a breath first, every time I turn around to do something I hear "You've Got Mail." I just finish one reply and have another and I did see this in the symbols thread so I'll head right over there after this........
The fact that your running away from something might mean you have a lot of things on your plate right now and aren't ready to deal with it all. And trying to get away from zombie like creatures and changeing to escape. You should ask yourself what has been bothering you lately it could be something small like one person calling all the time or a person always asking something of you and instead of saying how you feel you try to get away from the point or the subject and you aviod it by escaping the situation. Usually dreams like these deal with everyday stresses so try to figure out what might be bothering you and instead of escaping turn and face it with honesty. Even if it's just not wanting to do something. You don't really strike me as a person who runs away from things so being this is against your nature that's why your dreaming it. But escape is not the answer for you unless your just getting over loaded with things then you might be trying to tell yourself an escape is necessary to center yourself again.:colorful:

I amalking with my mother, I am about 4-5. Mon is carrying my baby sister. We are walking along the country road we live on. We are standing on the bridge over the familiar creek. I slip and fall over the edge into the water. My mom does nothing. Miraculusly, I am able to swim under the water and I have an incredible peace within me, but I am still afraid. Wow!!!!!! AC, I have just read Flora's posts about her dream, and the similarities are really uncanny! And a little eerie too. There are some noticeable differences, but the rest of it is so similar they could almost be the same thing....
Differences....
1. I didn't notice if the girl (me, or perhaps her) was pregnant. As I told Flora, she was running up the stairs with her skirts and petticoats all bunched up around her waist.
2. Her gentleman had a mustache and mine didn't
3. There were no shops in my mansion. Just a regular ornate mansion furnished in the French style, and they were speaking French.
4. My dress was completely white, and the girl did have my face when she looked at me.
Everything else though, was almost identical. From the hair, the distress, the spiral staircase, the mansion, etc.
I should mention that I had not read her posts until tonite, so there was no way she could have influenced my meditations by that way. Also, I was an observer (until I saw the girl's face and saw it was me) and she was an active participant in hers.
What do you think this means? Are Flora and I somehow linked together? :)

Agghhh, I hate waking up in the middle of a good dream, but we all have to wake up. I interpret this dream as a happy dream. After all, I sense this is a dream of independence. Your mom does nothing after you fall into the water, because she's giving you a sign that you can make it on your own in the world. You become a strong, independent person by exploring new environments and events. In this dream, the new environment is the water. Also, water is a sign of a new self-awareness. See, you are becoming aware of your own needs and emotions, thus, less reliant on your mother.

I always thought it meant that I was feeling insecure and seeking the feeling of the womb (water) due to the birth of my sister. My mother doing nothing in the dream signified her indifference toward me. The dream would always wake me up with a start.
I definately like your version better. Especially b/c that is where I really am in my life right now even in adulthood. The thing I was going to tell you...I am a Cancer born on the Cusp of Gemini at shortly after 12 am.

This dream was a one off, but it was surprisingly clear and since it invlved third eye usage and summoning dragons, I thought it might have an important meaning (to me) within it. It happened on Frieday night.
I can't remember exactly how it began, but I first remember I was in a sort of alternate reality. I was suddenly living in a big semi detached house with a huge tree in the garden, and all my friends lived in similar houses with large trees (of a different species to mine) in their gardens. Each house had one tree in the garden, and I remember about four houses. My tree was a willow tree, I can't remember about the rest.
Anyway, in this dream me and my friends (I can't remember which ones) were talking and I decided to make a sort of... dragon summoning potion. I did and I sprinkled droplets of this potion on each of the four trees (I could fly over the fences in the dream). All this was in the dark. After sprinkling the potion I went back to my garden, and suddenly my willow tree turned into a huge red Western dragon. He smiled at me and told me something, like advice, but I can't remember what he said. Then I went to the second garden, and the tree there turned into a huge white dragon with ribbon-like wings. This dragon was friendly too and he gave me a third eye! I popped the eye into my forehead, and suddenly I saw everything astral really clearly.
After this the dream faded and I went into another one. The dream had changed to me and my family living in terrible poverty, like the opposite of those houses in the previous dream. My friends were nowhere to be seen. This dream was much more faded, but somehow I managed to end up adopting a small dog (I have really wanted a dog in real life but have no chance of getting one until I move out of my parents house). I took the dog out to the shops to buy a lead, but I was followed by someone (male I think). Just as I was walking past the butchers, he turned on me and attacked me with two meat-prong carving utensils. Eventually I got away but found that the pet shop had been replaced by a night club... Two of my friends walked past and I asked them what had happened to the pet shop, but I didn't get a response.
So the dream finished with me stood outside a street I had known all my life, lost, with a small dog under my arm and feeling really hopeless. At the end of the first dream (with the dragons) I had felt empowered, and happy that I had a third eye. I don't know what to make of either dream.

It's possible you could be sister from a past life or even close friends. Keep me up to date with it will you????????????

I'd like to say sorry to those of you still waiting, Thank you for being patient with me and a big THANK YOU SO MUCH to Mnemosyne for picking things up for me. My husband was in a car accident and got lucky. I didn't get the chance to tell him about my warning dream that morning and I had an on easy feeling all day when I tried to get a hold of him I was to late he had left where he was and the accident was under way. I was helping someone out here with a PM problem and my visions got crossed but Lucky was he the car totalled but he only got 12 stitches in his head. He's doing fine but I was so angry with myself for not getting the message to him. I wouldn't have done you any good not centered. So thanks Mnemosyne for dealing with things here. Your a GODS sent.

Thank you hun!!
Okay,I dreamed I was laying on my living room couch, nude from the waist up...all of a sudden there was a young woman standing beside me..tall,slim,long straight black hair,jeans,T-shirt...very normal looking..anyway,I felt very calm with her there like it was the most normal thing in the world,lol..( she doens't resemble anyone I know in waking reality..)..
Anyway, she says," Someone is stabbing you in the chest over and over again"
I look down at my bare chest..and as I stare at it..little,bloody wounds begin to blossom on my chest..before my eyes!!! I shut my eyes, put my head back down...and said," I know, but I don't want to see it"
The young woman sighed with disgust and said," I KNOW you don't"...and then I woke up..
My question is...who is stabbing me??? I'm going through a divorce..and I THOUGHT I'd reconciled myself to the FACT that I can't trust my husband...and certain aquaintances...so who is stabbing me in the chest that I don't want to face??? This dream is very disturbing to me...and I would like for you to tell me whatever you get...nice or NOT nice...
Thanks so much,
Tesh

In dreams where there is a guide speaking to you they feel you need to hear a message. Usually a warning dream is just that no one is telling you your going to be killed you just see it happening. So a warning dream is ruled out. This is however survival dream being someone, some guide is coming to you to give you a message and usually these people feel very natural and have a calm and peace about them. This person is one of your spirit guides. IT could be that someone very close to you is betraying your trust again and again. Someone you think is a friend now they don't have to be doing it for wrong reasons in fact this person might even think they're helping you by doing this so when you find out who it is first ask their reasoning behind it. This might be a person who truely loves you and feelings it's the only way to get you out of this situation. But it also could be this person is deceiving you for their own good. Now I find it interesting at how you say in the dream you don't want to look at it and your guide says they know. This interests me a lot could it be possible that deep in your heart you still love him, even after all the bad, all the heart ache and pain you still feel something for this person? We all get angry and I am one of those people that can put up a wall of fire and close myself off from those who hurt me and it's a good strong wall that I can hold til times end but even I know deep inside under putting up the front of not hurting it does hurt and it wounds me deeply and that is another stone added to the wall.
Maybe this guide wants to help you understand the situation and help you find a middle ground with your ex so you can move on. Not that you haven't but it's a next step that will make you a better person and they're telling you this is where your chart needs to have a change because if you stay on this course the out come will not be what you wanted for your life............
It is thought that there is a great Hall in the otherworld where charts are held for every living being and we choose our course what we want in this life, guides look at that chart and help you stay on your course you've set. Example you may want a challenging life so you choose to be poor, be a beaten spouse, have life throw one thing after the other at and you challenge is to stay true to love and be a caring person through it all. The guide would see that the outcome of the situation will take you off that course so they would come to you or telepathy is their big thing and help you realize this.
Or it could be an accident deal if the accident happens one way you live if it happens another you die.
Your chart may show it's not the time for you to die so they send a warning or even a guide to change the course of the accident just to keep you on your course or path you chose for this life.
So, try not to think it as one thing but several things could be happening here. I hope this helps you....:colorful:

Thanks Autumn Clair...and yes, even after all the garbage of our troubled marriage...and the nastiness of our divorce..I still love him..although it makes me angry at myself because of all the emotional pain I've been through with him...I'm also disgusted with myself because I was so miserable with him..he made me feel very inadequate on many levels..(I know that's partially my problem also..that I let him do that to me)...but I still, especially now that we've both signed the divorce papers and are waiting for them to be processed...miss him from time to time..even though I have much anger and pain also...
You're very good,Autumn...I got goosebumps when you said perhaps I need to find a "middle ground" with my ex so I can move on...the other night I heard a voice say,"make peace with him, then go"...( I know it meant emotionally, since I'm not with him physically anymore)
Now,as far as the young woman in my dream...come to think of it I have seen her in other dreams..and was wondering if she could be a spirit guide who is kind of an assistant to my main one..who,I'm blessed and happy to say,I'm rather intimately aquainted with..although, she doesn't always respond to me when I ask her too..LOL..
You also gave me a shiver when you mentioned a friend who thought they were doing me favors..but were actually hurting me unintentionally..and even unwittingly betraying me...I know who that might be..( a while back my husband emailed me claiming that a "so-called" friend of mine had told him stuff about me...negative things supposedly..at the time I got this email, I immediately thought of a particular girlfriend who probably told him stuff just to get him to leave me alone..making him think i wasn't worth further thought..) I'd forgotten about this email of his until I read your post,lol...
Anyway, sorry this post is so long...but I'm assuming you'd like feedback...and very good feedback it is...I'm feeling much better now and will make the appropriate decisions..
I've been wrestling with the idea of seeing my husband and talking to him one more time to make peace...so that we can move on...I'm going to do it...
Thanks again,
Tesh
I'm editing this to add that in no way, shape,or form will I come back and whine at Autumn if this final meeting with hubby goes badly..all she said was to find a middle ground..
I'm choosing of my own free will to do this by speaking with him face to face one more time...for resolution..

It's thought that we have many many guides some just spirit guides, some who's job it is just watching our charts, some who heal, deal with evil entities and more. But we all have plenty of guides to help us.............

THe fact that your friends are shooting at you and stabbing you could mean you have some inner termoil with them. A lot of people have dreams like this when they are frustrated and stressed so ask yourself what has been going on between you and your friends lately.
And something small like them busting you about something can cause this type of dream because it leaves you feeling uncomfortable that they do it and it bothers you.
Second you really didn't give me enough of the dream for me to pick up on if this would be a warning dream. Do you recongize the surrounding in the dream? Usually with a warning dream it's a feeling of knowing you know the play you know the feeling almost like it's happening and you know it needs to be changed. Warning dreams are their so you can change an out come it leaves you with a sense of regrets...............

This is very interesting in the first dream your feeling empowered and in the second dream your feeling at a loss, hopeless. How much longer do you have at home. Years a year? I'm asking because you seem to have some turmoil about wanting to leave and being on your own for the first time being excited about it but wonder if it's really going to be all that great. The fact that you've had this insight now is good because few things are ever as good as we think they will be. Know that the world hold exciting things but have your head on straight and wisedom to not go over board will keep you from all the hopelessness overwhelming you once you get out into the world.
Something I have learned is always have a back up plan. Enjoy life but know what it holds is not all good so keep your eye on that and you'll be fine. Intuition levels are down when you first move out. But once you are out and about for a year maybe two you will realize what you have already seen, things aren't always what we want them to be.
This was a good thing and with these dreams and your dragon guides you seem to have found will help you a long..........:colorful:

I got the feeling when I was reading that it had already happened and you didn't want the family to be broken up and the part about your dad was more like a blame on him for it happening and with your saying she was still your sister when you had this dream only leads me to believe you had foresight of what was coming...........and just didn't know it at the time.............:colorful:

I had a dream last night that I don't understand and was wondering if someone could help me out. I was taking stuff out of the trunk of a car and laid it on the ground and someone closed the trunk. I went to the front of the car to get the keys out to re-open the trunk and they locked the door and shut it (from the outside). I had no way to get into the car. I walked to the passenger side of the car and somehow opened the back end above the tire - it just folded back for me and unlocked the back door from the locking mechanism in the side of the door which I could see. I don't remember much after that. Any insight you could provide would be helpful

This dream is a bit strange but for some reason your not wanted by your car except that one side and even though it doesn't fit the warning dream style I really have to say check your car, the tire where the door opened for you I'm thinking they want you to look at that side because your led over to it but just in case check the other side because you were led away from it. So a safe bet is just have the car checked it could be a tire low on air even or bad treads they want you to know about but that's the feeling I get from this dream. I'd be looking the car over................

You know it would be funny if you lock your keys in your car and that side back by the tire is the only door you can get into. So don't forget your keys...........

And I'm here too..................
You know,I had a very vivid and lovely dream last night...I usually dream several times a week..but most of them are emotionally neutral, or nonsense that quickly fade after I wake. But this one was so coherent and colorful, that I wanted to share with you just for the heck of it...you don't have to interpret it,because I think I know what it's telling me(unless you want to point out something I may be missing of course!!lol)..I just thought it seemed like a pretty neat addendum to our discussion and insights yesterday:
I dreamed I was standing at the edge of this really HUGE and beautiful yard..I'm saying yard rather than garden because I could see a tall privacy fence through the foliage..
The garden/yard was full of HUGE lovely trees, statuary, exotic looking plants and flowers, and neat but weird looking shrubbery(kind of like some japanese flora)...
I was wanting to explore this beautiful place, but knew that it was someone's private property...but decided that I would tiptoe in and if I were caught I'd plead ignorance..and claim I thought it was a public garden/park..lol..there was a path of narrow square stones which started at my feet..only about a foot wide..as soon as i stepped on this path..I saw a gigantic rock to my right..bordered with flowers and surrounded by a stream..this big rock(AND I MEAN BIG!!) had water which was flowing over it and from it...I left the path and touched the rock..enjoying the feel of the water...
After a bit I went back to the path and continued forward..it wound around the bases of the huge trees..weaving around all the neat stuff in the garden/yard..and past a tremendous stone mansion covered with sculptures and pillars...I knew that must be the owner's house but still kept going...anyway,the path led me around to the back of this house, and down some steps into a bright basement...well lit and also full of plants, rock gardens,flora..but now there were cages with birds in them...there were other people walking around down here..families,couples,kids...so I thought to myself that maybe the owner allowed people to come here to admire his or her lovely place after all..(but really suspected that they were not supposed to be here either)
anyway,I'd stopped at this parrot's cage and was looking at the bird...when(and here's the only place it gets silly for some weird reason) this wooden door across from me opens, there's a man sitting on the commode!!Sorry, just telling the dream...we stare at eachother in shock..and he pulls the door shut...
A few minutes later he comes out and joins me at the cage..he was short, scruffy looking hair..kind of unkempt looking..he said,"enjoying yourself?"..he had kind of an amused look on his face...
I played it cool, and said yes I was and wasn't this a lovely park??I've never seen it before blah blah..( but I knew that this guy owned the place privately)
he said," this isn't a park..it's my home"...
I then realized that all the other people who had been milling around had vanished..and I was going to use their presence to protest why I thought the place was public..LOL..
I told him I was really sorry, that there had been other people here too..and that his place was just sooooo gorgeous,I thought it was for the public..( I could even feel my face getting warm from my lying like crazy )
The man was looking me square in the eye and just gave me a big smile...and then I woke up( darn it)...I would have liked to hear what he'd say next...
Anyway, I think this dream is telling me that there are alot of things I'm lying about to myself...like personal accountability for my actions.setting boundaries yet not overstepping other's boundaries...and things I've justified wrongly about myself..and that I need to be more straightforward with others...and also, strangly,I think the dream means I need to be more bold about asking others for help...I can chat and discuss and ask online..but am very silent in daily life about reaching out to other people and asking for help instead of just being a martyr and suffering silently....
I'm sorry this post is soooo long..and I ASSURE you this won't be a regular habit of mine..but the spiritual significance of this dream was VERY moving for me..considering when it occured in my life, and after our discussion yesterday..
I also think I might have met another guide
The only thing I don't understand was his being on the potty.. :hairraise :hehehehe:

First I'd like to say come in any time and tell a dream it doesn't have to be for just interpretations just say your sharing like today. I love reading them and it gives me good practice to figure out how you got your interpretation. Which was very well known. I loved the dream, I almosted wanted to be there myself and boy did you ease my tension. My husband was out late working last night and we got a lot of sleet and freezing rain, everything was ice and I was a worrier. He got in around 10:30 p.m. way past the time he was going to be home so cause for my worry but it was a flat tire. Still with him having the accident just last wed. night it still causes concern for his safety. So the dream made me laugh and it felt really good.:colorful:
I'd like to add something else to your dreams interpretation, yes I get the feeling this man was another guide for you and I'm believing he's showing you a change that will come over you and new things ahead.
Stop in anytime.................

Ah, if only. I'll have a good few years to go, though we are in the process of moving house. Sometimes I feel helpless because of the fact I have no choice in the matter. The house in the first dream reminded me of our new house, except it was bigger in the dream. Actually, come to think of it, in our new house there is a tree in the same spot in the garden (upper left corner), except it is MUCH smaller, and pine instead of willow.
I suppose it comes back to the whole dog issue. I so desperately want a dog, I've argued with my mum for hours on end over it. It's not as though we don't have the time or resources to support a dog (in fact we'll have even more space, time and resources when we move), it's just my mum digging her heels in and it's caused far more unhappiness in me than I think she realises. We even ended up arguing in the dream.
The dragon guides I saw were amazing though. They were so huge and powerful yet they gave out such a... beautiful sense of love and kindness. I've never seen or heard of a dragon like that white one (the one who gave me the third eye).

Well, I guess I should post this....
Ok, first off I should say that I really do everything I can to not dream. I usually don't like how my dreams turn out because they're just sometimes disturbing.
However lately though my dreams are to the point of realistic, and less disturbing that it's getting harder and harder for me to realise it's a dream. I even talk myself into thinking it's real!! So I figured to finally become a forum member and post this and see what y'all think.
------------
Dream #1
Pretty much a week to the day I'm posting this... I dreamt I was outside in my yard doing pullups. It's not unusual because I do... weird thing is when I was doing them I would get to where my arms would be extended fully when I went up.... as if I was about to do a head stand.
Now I knew this was wrong but everytime I came down I would think, "This is so realistic, even the gravity and the swaying motions fit exactly." then I would also tell myself, "Why wouldn't it be realistic. If people heard you talking about this they'd consider you mad" or something very close to that, pretty much telling me to shutup. After about 15 pullups(yes I was counting in the dream :P) I realized my arms weren't even remotely tired, and that's when it hit me that this was a dream, and the second before I woke, I felt like I was floating.
--Now that wasn't disturbing like my dreams usually are.... but the whole fact that I was telling myself to shutup, and I was trying to convince myself this was real.... disturbs me MORE!! :S
-----------
Dream #2
Now this is my dream last night.
I was at a party, and drinking away. Everything I experience when I'm drunk I was experiencing while I was dreaming. So pretty much I didn't know or care what was going on!! LoL
I gave a girl my number instead of getting hers, and went to a friends house alone. Nothing seemed unusual because I kept thinking I had to wake up early tommorrow for work and this was a smart thing. I do that sometimes so it wasn't unusual.
While I was there trying to sleep people kept coming to visit me. Everytime I tried to sleep someone would wake me up for one reason or another!
Finally I gave up and the girl who I gave my number to earlier called me... her name was
Melissa. We chatted a bit and while we were talking I walked across the street to the mall(which is normally a few miles from that house, but it all seemed normal because I was talking to her ???)
Now here's where the whole world started to fall apart.... night turned to day and my phone turned to a walkie talkie. I knew something was wrong but since I was "still drunk" I couldn't figure it out, but I knew it had something to do with the walkie talkie.
After a few minutes talking to this girl I "sobered up" in like a second and realized everything around me.... but instead of waking up immediately, I looked around because something was still not right.
Everything stopped exactly where it was at, and I felt like something knew it was caught in the act and I thought to myself... "HA! I got caught by myself and I know it!!"
My whole body started to feel like electricity and that's when I decided I better wake up now.
-----------------
Now I'm pretty sure this is just jibberish and I should check myself into a mental institute! LMAO
but if anyone thinks iit means anything, I'd like to know.
If you think it means nothing and I'm just weird, then OK! fine by me!! :)
The thing that bothers me the most is I don't realize it's a dream until far into it!

Well last night I recall a dream where I was at this guy Derek's house and he pointed out somewhere online saying "Here's William Gibson calling himself a Moron"
There were many others but my dream journal was not used to record em, for some reason the above part stood out.

I had this dream over a year ago and it's still very vivid.
I am standing in the living room, talking to a blond man, telling him "I'm a big girl, I don't need anyone's protection, I can do it myself." He argues with me for a few minutes, nothing harsh, it's an argument we've had before. The white dog sits between us and watches, patiently waiting for us to finish. (In another dream this dog was a puppy and died, I recognize him)
The blond man finally let's the argument rest, he hasn't given up yet but he's frustrated. He goes for a walk with the dog and as they head off down the street I realize I've got to pee. (Not trying to be graphic, just accurate) I head into the bathroom, drop my drawers and sit.
I look at the bathroom window and realize that it's much bigger than normal, huge in fact. It seems odd that a mirror that size would be in the bathroom. I also notice the fire escape that descends from the window. Wow, a long way down considering the house is a rancher. There is something climbing the fire escape, a man, maybe. I see a large figure completely covered in plate mail. The eye slit in the helmet is dark but I know there are eyes.
Suddenly I'm afraid. I know this figure is dangerous and if it gets me I will die. I lean back away from the window hoping it hasn't seen me. I know better, it saw me and it's coming faster. I can hear heavy boots on metal steps as I stand up and frantically try to pull up my jeans. It's not working, I hop out of the bathroom and into the hallway as the figure reaches the landing outside the window. I hear the glass shatter but I don't dare look back. I hop into the closest room, and turn....too late.
It's right there in front of me! Hands in gauntlets reach for my throat and just as I feel the metal touch my skin I wake up.
Funny thing, I didn't have to pee.
I've poked around with this dream for quite awhile, I understand most of it but I get the feeling I am missing something important. Maybe a fresh perspective will help?

I haven't had a dream that I remember since I was about 10 (I'm 26, now). When I was little, I used to get made fun of a lot. I mean a LOT . Remember the kid in school that EVERYBODY made fun of? That kid made fun of me.
Anyway, the last dream I remember is that me and a bunch of kids from my school were in a field flying kites. I had a kite that looked like an eagle. I couldn't get the damn thing off the ground if my life depended on it. I was, of course, being made fun of for lacking the ability to fly the kite. I threw a temper tantrum, somehow ended up on top of the kite, and it took off, with me on top of it. I was flyin' around all over the place, and the other kids were staring in disbelief.

Out Of Body Experiences (Astral Projection)
Astral travel consists of projecting the inner body or etheric self from the physical body. This can occur during sleep and waking conditions (momentary displacement). Usually a projection of any length are nearly always part of a dream state. The sleeper travels various distances from that to the ceiling, to other side of the continent and remain connected to the body by a silver cord which is not always seen.
It can occur in two ways. willingly projecting the inner self to a predetermined place. Involuntary travel during sleep. Most things are remembered upon waking with the same intense and clear view of a psychic dream. They are the opposite of a prophectic dream but of that of ESP. You observe yourself and remember what you have seen and your experience. There is something this has that no other psychic dream is capable of observing the inner self by outside observation usually while fully awake. It is hard to distinguish it from an ordinary dream because the dream may not always remember his/her travel movements.
Common physical and emotional effects of astral projection.
feeling of extreme fatigue when waking even though you slept more hours than usual.
sense of falling, spinning usually with a fear of falling. Physical reaction to the step down of vibrations from the very fast astral projection speed to that of the body as you re enter.
recollection of having gone through solid wall, seeing one's own body below, usually at the beginning.Feeling of drifting away, sometimes lightening speed across landscape, temp. discomfort like chills, moisture or heat.Might even see the silver cord.Seeing people or scenes but not being able to make vioce contact.Visual contact has been noted.
They occur many times during operations when you've been anesthetized.
There are plenty of sites online that will tell you how to astral project...........
If you'd like we could interpret your dreams but as I was reading it this is what came to mind for me. People astral Project all the time in their dreams and don't realize it. I think Your just realizing it now and it's freaking you out because you don't know what to make of these dreams.

i just had this dream last night. My dad & i were at the pet shop buying goldfish.the way of buying is a bit odd, u don't need a bucket to store the fish. instead, the one u pick will float behind u while u go round the shop. we picked a few nice ones, but weird that eveyone of them seem 2 be handicaped : lost of left eye, either dead or dying. i the end we picked only one, which was quite beautiful.
i search my dream books this morning & found that dreaming of fishes had something 2 do with the uncouncious mind or sumthing....

I had a dream last night that someone stole my purse. I was in a building of some sort and had walked to another room and when I went back, my purse was gone. I was in a situation that I was traveling and was upset because all of my money was in the purse. I had to leave to go back home since I didn't have any money. I somehow ended up at my mom's house and was walking down the street and found my purse under the neighbors tree. I went to the door to find out why my purse was there and they told me that everything was in my purse and that their son had stolen it. I had 2 checks in my purse originally but when I looked in it, it was all converted to cash. I also knew that I had a $20 bill in there and didn't see it originally and was upset that my $20 bill was missing, I took the money out of my wallet and found the $20 hidden between a couple of $50's.
Any insight to this dream would be a help. Thanks!

Ok, I had a really weird dream last night. Here it goes...
It starts off with me doing my normal morning things: showering, brushing teeth, ect. and then i come back to my room and open my underware drawer and my best friend is inside the drawer, pops out and hands me a pare of underware, says 'Good day mate!' and then jumps back into the drawer and i close it and just contiue on my way like nothing weird just happened. Then i wake up. What the heck is with that??

Well I don't think there's anything in a dream dictionary on friends popping out of underware drawers and I don't think your friends a spirit guide I think your feeling good about things and the way they are looking for you right now. And this dream just reflects it with the comment your friend makes. :colorful:

I had this dream last night where my mother bought four birds (while I already have a parakeet) two of the birds were black and very very mean and the other two looked just like my parakeet but much bigger...so on with the dream I walk into the room and I become very upset because I see that there are three copies (exact copies) of my parakeet in the cage but two of them have been killed...(during this part of the dream I could feel pain and stress in my stomach)..so I opened the cage to let out the remaining parakeet and he flew out and landed on the parent's room's door frame..but the two mean, evil black birds got out and started flying twords me ready to attack...so I fell the the floor and covered my head and I heard a bird land beside me...but when I opened my eyes it was my parakeet...just staring at me...then my mother put the remaining four birds under a platter cover on our hutch....and thats where I woke up....
Any ideas as to what this dream meant?

You are still hurt how other have treated you in your past. The eagle is a sign of courage and strength. You couldn't get the eagle kite off the ground because you didn't have enough inner strength inside to do it. So as a result, the eagle took you up to give you a sign that you need to have courage even if others are making fun of you.

In China, the goldfish is a symbol of good luck and prosperity. I think that something good will come to you, since you made sure to pick a nice, beautiful fish. If you would have picked one of the fishes that was handicapped, I think that it would be a sign of bad luck. Also, you only picked one good fish- a sign of good luck in a dream. If you would have picked a lot of them, your fishbowl be too crowded- not good if you want good things to come. After all, you have to have some room for the greatness in your future.

Are you about to make any money or career decisions at the moment? If so, this dream might tell you that your decision may seem kind of risky but will be finiancially rewarding. I think that's why someone stole your purse- a sign of stress and unease. However, when your purse was found, you were more prosperous than when you began. Take chances because they can be rewarding.

Ok, I'll try my best to reiterate my dream a couple nights ago:
I am me, well dressed, at my home for a family party. Mom's laughing hysterical, crazy. I talk to someone kid on the phone who wants Shrooms, he asks me for 2 Ounces, I say "Well I probably don't have that weight, but I can always get more" then the kid panics and I say, "You do know how many doses are in 2 ounces of Shrooms right?"
No co-relation to selling shrooms, since in fact I haven't sold shrooms
I walk past my brother who looks at me concerned as I enter my bedroom and close the door behind me still talking on the portable to this freaky sounding kid. At one moment I think I am talking to the kid on the phone but I couldn't be because the portable was on the dresser on the left of my room...
Now I am in my gold saturn, but sitting passenger seat. My aunt is sitting in the driver seat for some reason. We're both upset about how mom's acting crazy, like she's been drinking too much or something. I notice my cars antenna with the goofy alien head thing on top is on the wrong side of the car (left side instead of right side), and it's bent onto the windshield like my last jeeps antenna (which I lost about a year ago, but it's antenna was also on the right).
Dream Shift : Third Person, my eyes are Cameras of their own swirling about a movie
I'm watching this kid like a movie, where he's going through this "Life Museum" or something while he's tripping on Acid. The kid reminds me strikingly of the kid version of Ashton Kutcher's character in "The Butterfly Effect" movie. He walks into a section where suddenly there's all sorts of different organisms floating about and some voice over head booms "and This is the Food chain." After all these different species float about, one last organism hovers into view that's an upward-pointing brownish triangle with an imprinted circle in the middle - the voice then booms "except for the barnacle, who feeds on boobles, who feed on gooblebobbles..."
As the kid walks out of the section, he triggers a flashback memory of his first acid experience. The camera (my eyes) are floating above the ocean, all sorts of kids are playing in the brownish ocean. The waves are rolling in very gently. The camery/my eyes peel to the star of said movie, the kid goes under the water and I see him underneath the water just swimming around in the barely visible New York like brownish water.
The flashback memory cuts out back to the museum. The kid goes into a section for Astronomy, he sees all sorts of planets and galaxies wizz by him. As he's leaving the section, he hears behind him "...The Milky Way, the biggest galaxy in the universe!" and then behind him he hears a rollercoaster zooming with people screaming like they would on a ride.
The camera/my eyes follow him from the front as he's travelling across a very narrow tall red bridge. Suddenly he looks to his right (camera peels leftwards) and the bridge apparently makes a sharp 45-degree turn to the north. I see three people with three different coffee cups, containing three different types of coffee. Some commercial slogan goes off in the background about coffee. Then the movie cuts back to where the kid was on the bridge, except the kid is not there and there's people walking across in the far back towards me. Suddenly some invisible force starts picking off the people, then entire peices of the bridge - as if it were a cartoon or something. The camera peels to a smiling woman and a voice in the background says, "...Travel Insurance, just one more thing you can get from Google.com"
All that I said above happened sometime while sleeping the morning of February 10th, 2004

Your right I read your dream and there is a ton of variety in there. Have you had a lot of different interests lately. I see your fairly new here and that will explain your dream. Your exploring new things and taking that information from the wake state into your dream state and I believe the things your dreaming about are the areas your being pulled to. Now you might not think your interested in Numerology or Astrology but in your dream state you are and I would even go as far to say animal guides or spirit guides as well.

I've been having strange dreams lately...a little embarrassing, but here I go...
All these dreams occurred last week.
Dreamt I gave birth to a squid with long bloody tentacles, in the toilet
Dreamt my deceased grandmother brought me a picture of my infant daughter in a red dress
Dreamt that I was married, but had yet to sleep with my "husband", and was running around the room/screaming/hiding in order to avoid this
Dreamt I was part of a study in which a number of girls were blindfolded and had to...um...stimulate each other (and record the results)
Now, I am not in a relationship right now...am still a virgin, and have never been married.
Any ideas? I'm really curious...the dreams were very vivid and disturbing :bigredblu

Where you close with your grandmother? It's funny you say your grandmother shows your daughter to you and you now also know her name is Mallory, a name your not fond of.
It has been known to happen that a dead relative has connect with someone not yet born.
I suggest you write to name down and the dream as much as you can remeber in your dream journal if you have one or put the information somewhere where you won't loose it over the years and forget about it. In maybe 10 years you might be surprised by coming up with a name that sounds so familiar but can't remember why and then come across the information again. Put it with your birth records something like that so you won't happen upon it again until after the fact of her birth. This is very much true and I'm curious to see when you actually have a child how the name comes to you, it could be your husband picks it.

I've read your dream and I feel that it is a reincarnation type dream. In these dream you see yourself different and know that it is you in this case you are a young girl and everything is happening to you your not watching it happen around you, so that gives me the second clue. Third these dream will recure trying to give you a message for something happening in your life time now. It is rare for a person to have reincarnated dreams but this happens so you can deal with an aspect in this life. These dreams may come at different times in your life somethimes very clear other times just bits and pieces of the same dream.
You'll need to take a look at things in this life to see if you have information that will help someone in someway. Because in the dream you seem to know the answer to what is happening and it involves someone else who is in need.:colorful:

This is a type of astral projection.
Out Of Body Experiences (Astral Projection)
Astral travel consists of projecting the inner body or etheric self from the physical body. This can occur during sleep and waking conditions (momentary displacement). Usually a projection of any length are nearly always part of a dream state.
Did you get a chance to see anything that you remember. The funny thing with these is sometimes all we remember is the fall back into our bodies.
But when you remember the dreams there like heaven on earth sometimes.

Dreams like other psychic impressions sometimes reverse left and right or up and down they call it the mirror effect in dreams the borderline between the world of reality and imaginaton. The fact that your dream goes into so many different things first a concern for your mother, then talking with a boy on the phone then the whole astrology thing, I'd say you have an awful lot on your mind and the subconscious is a great place to release all that built up everyday stress, not that your stress but maybe a bit to busy, did you get any sleep? did you feel like you had a good nights sleep or where you still tired when waking and one more question did you feel any falling motion in your dream or dizziness?

The fact that your dream goes into so many different things first a concern for your mother, then talking with a boy on the phone then the whole astrology thing, I'd say you have an awful lot on your mind and the subconscious is a great place to release all that built up everyday stress, not that your stress but maybe a bit to busy, did you get any sleep? did you feel like you had a good nights sleep or where you still tired when waking and one more question did you feel any falling motion in your dream or dizziness?
uhm, hmm - this wasn't the exact interpretation I was hoping for, I was wondering for example the third person camera thing, I have it alot, where either I'm viewing myself outside of myself (sometimes my appearance is not even me!) or i'm flying around in camera mode watching someone else
The left/right is peculiar though because I've been sort of blending both reality and imagination, mayhaps the left/right conflict is a mere shadow of what's happening during conscious activity. Busy though I'm certainly not, unless you include hanging out, I do that quite a bit I s'pose, but always have.
What I'd really like analyzed is the third person dream shift part, there's tons of symbolism I feel in the least. That is of course if you could spare the moment Autumn Clair, I see you're so busy with this
Also: There's no falling motion or dizziness in that dream, and I had a kings rest, woke very happy.

I'm just wonder here because there's so much that give a hint of psychic types like astral travel but no tireness or dizziness there and we see ourselves different in this type but things are happening to us not as an on looker. in warning dreams we are on looker like watching a movie but I can't figure out what the warning would be and a warning dream means it's going to happen soon whatever it is and you you feel a need to change something.

Ok - I haven't posted in this thread before - but I've been having odd dreams lately (at least for me) The biggest factor is that there has been an over all celestial theme, planetariums, etc. more specifically - multiple moons. One in particular has a bright indigo ring around it and is always full, while the other moons of varying sizes & colors are all waxing/waning.
Anyone else having weird dreams? or have an alternate interpretation??

It is true though that astral projection are the hardest to distinguish from ordinary dreams could you make vioce contact or was it you just watching everything. It's very rare to make vioce contact. It's rare to see yourself as an on looker but if you look diferent in the dream that would be the case there. And you really don't have to know anything about the dream or travel information it could be that you've astral traveled so many times your use to it now.

There have been a lot of weird dreams coming in here lately and a boost on the astral travel dreams as well. It seemed to all pick up around the beginning of Feb...........And a lot of overactive dreaming or at least remembering them. I'm not sure way this is going on. Yours sounds like you've visited another astral plane.:colorful:

It was very strange.... the first time I remember the moonscape I had come upon a field on the top of a hill after being chased by .. something that I can't remember. It was definitely a place of calm for me, though I remember asking myself "how odd.. why is the moon like that?" and someone (whom I couldn't see) felt very afraid of the moon(s) - though there was no voice, just a very distinct feeling of dread coming from behind me.

Hey that sounds almost like a part of my dream I mentioned earlier, except the planetarium was part of the "life museum" I was watching this kid walk through.

What's cool is that people I know have dreams where friends of theirs are in the dream, and then they speak to their friends about the dream and lots of people are having similar dreams where for example, in one dream I was boogie boarding in the ocean, having fun - and the same night my friend from new jersey had a similar dream where he was surfing.
Another person had a dream about a house party and going downstairs to play cards, they saw their ex-girlfriend down there. Then later he spoke to her and she mentioned a crazy dream where she saw him in the basement during a house party while they were playing pool.
Do you ever get dreams with aliens? Like galactic governments, or just cool party dude aliens or something?

Thats what I figured, just cant put the pieces together or figure out whats going on now that could relate to the dream.
Thanks alot though it helps to have someone else confirm it somewhat. Very glad your here to help!

I had a really weird dream the other night and was wondering if anyone could help me with the meaning. Ok heres how it goes:
It starts with my friend Becky and I getting married (which is weird because we are both female and i have never thought of her that way before). Then it jumps ahead to her being pregnant and we rush to the hospital and she gives birth to our son but hes premature so they take him away. Then we are in bed and shes rubbing my back, which is nice but anyways. So then i go to see the baby and he is in a plant nursery. I go over to where he is and hes a tiny plant. Then I pick him up and hes a baby then i put him back and hes a plant again. So thats the end of the dream and then when i wake up, Im crying and I have a weird sence of contentment. What in the heck does it mean??

Marraige may symbolize the union of opposite forces in your psyche, and the consequent achievement of wholeness. The most obvious example is the bringing together of the masculine and feminine sides of your personality. Your friend, beign of the same sex as yourself, perhaps is symbolizing your alter ego or shadow, which consists of those aspects of your personality that you have so far neglected or repressed. Even in real life we may project on to other people some of the contents of our own unconscious - repressed sadism, for instance, or an inferiority complex.
The birth may represent some possibility of new experience (inner or outer) and new personal growth. For a second agreement, through Jungs eyes, anything that has to do with birth, life, death and rebirth all function as symbols of what he calls the 'individuation' process, which is the development of the human psyche to full maturation, wholeness and harmony. In Jungian terms, therefore, birth may symbolize the beginning (actual or potential) of a new phase in your personal development. If you feel some such intimidation of a possible new phase in your life (inner or outer - though for Jung the stress is on the inner), you would be well advised to work seriously and purposefully towards its realization, even if this means giving up something: the death of something (an old negative attitude, old anxieties or guilt-feelings, for example) is nearly always a precondition of new life.
That backrub you receive is perhaps a highlighter for the above paragraph, perhaps there's so much external stress that it's beginning to seep into your inner life. Something that may even refocus that message is the fact you and your friends 'son' was amongst a plant nursery. Plants can symbolize a Mandala, or Center. Was the plant nursery assymetrical? Strange larger plants around? It might mean your psyche's off balance and needs some attention to bring a harmony.
Upon finding the baby you pick him up and he becomes a human baby, then when you place him back he turns back into a plant. Again, I feel it's refocusing on your psyche's harmony. Perhaps it could represent that you need to get back to Nature, or you need to simplify certain things that may be causing you a great deal of personal stress.
So to summarize, your psyche's alter-ego is seriously trying to show you an easier path, and gives birth to a possible solution to the worries that might have been seeping into your inner life.
Let go! Be free, celebrate and romp with nature! You should be taking a bold step forward in personal growth soon if not already!

Ok.. so I was wrestling this giant snake by grabbing its lower jaw and stretching it.... en the snake turns into a handsome, muscular, black beard giant (think of a greek god statue). And I turn into Hercules. At this point we become the same size and I have a huge sword and he has one about the size of a tooth pic. I get scared and I keep lungeing and stiking then quickly back away out of fear. Every time I stab him it doesnt go through.
He is just standing there there with good composture. He then lies down on a love seat and books pile on top of him.... almost like ice. and I finally stab him underneath the armpit and it goes through, then I drew it back out and he got up.....and he turned into a porcelin statue of a boy with a cross bow.
I grab the mini-cross bow and shoot him. It lands on his face and points to his third-eye. I then take teh pomel of my sword and knock him in the third eye with it...and it was like hitting a stone...it didnt shatter.
Now my own views of this are that it involves a lot of masculine isues. The porceline boy.... the image of what the proper boy is suppose to be. The whole David and Golieth thing....taking on faith. Hercules being the stong male archetype and teh swords representing... well you know. But I wanted to hear some opinons to better undertand it. I am very much of Jung psychology and know that one can not really analyze one owns dreams but recognize key fgures thatt the subconscious is pressing.
Ok, the snake is sort of various, so lets literally tackle that first. A snake may symbolize, commonly viewed, as evil. It may also symbolize healing, rejuvenation, new life. Even better, in ancient mythology the snake is a symbol of immortality, by virtue of its ability to slough one skin and grow another; it is the emblem of the Graeco-Roman god of medicine; and the snake with it's tail in its mouth (my obvious personal favorite) is an ancient symbol of the cycle of birth, eath and rebirth. Perhaps it's good to lean towards Jung in this scenario for just that reason, but lets also consider what else the snake may represent. It can represent sexuality, psychic energy, or the power of nature; intuitive wisdom; the unconscious. Whatever the case may be, it shouldn't be too hard to see what part of your psyche really truly needs work - it is a Giant snake after all, and you might have been wrestling with it for some time, trying to stretch it out into harmony.
A fight may represent conflict in a real-life domestic or work situation - or the conflict may be within you, b/w opposed forces in the psyche. An obvious candidate is a clash between what you want to do and what you feel you ought to do. Sometimes this is easily represented as the super-ego, or the conscience, so lets go Jung again on this though since he sees conscience as the voice of an inner wisdom that will lead us to our true selfhood.
The sword is another good one Jung would shake a stick at (no pun intended) - it may symbolize the consciousness. In what Jung called the first stage of individuation, beginning at puberty, the conscious ego must free itself from the previously all-embracing unconcsiousness, in order that the individual may fulfil his or her particular destiny. Perhaps the herculian masculine statue represents the authority part of you. Something you know you ought to tackle so as to release daily stress possibly? I think the books piling on the giant might show that research or wisdom will certainly subdue that authority beast.
The boy statue seems to reflect your inner child. You shooting the crossbow at him may reflect a 'cupid' orient, maybe you need to fill yourself up with love - try devoting some more time to some harmonic meditation and letting go of being physically demanding. You might be trying to tell yourself your lower centers no longer need work and you should focus on the third eye and higher.

I had an interesting one this morning.
I had attended some kind of church service with my parents (who are active Christians), and for whatever reason, I wound up walking "home" afterwards. In any case, I arrived there after they were already there.
And my dad and my aunt's new hubby (who is on the Pagan side of things) were performing a Pagan rite of some kind. Other family members were standing around, and the rite was.. something to do with empowering small items.. One was a camel's tooth, which I had to go dig up from under "my" nightstand. I thought it was quite a coincidence that they were having the rite on this night, as it was so close to Samhain in my dream.
Both my mom and my dad smiled and hugged me and were like "we didn't realize it could be like this.."
And there was something about Dad doing tarot spreads, only he was also using complicated charts and stuff (astrology? numerology?) like he was born to it- stuff that I knew I could probably understand with a bunch of study, but he picked it up like he'd always known it...
That's the extent of it. Some real-life details: "Home" was my Gramma's house, though I don't remember seeing her (or her new husband) there. "My bedroom" was an actual room in the house, Gram & Gramp's spare room, that I've slept in zillions of times. I don't know why I "claimed" it as my own though. Now my mom has shown alot of tolerance towards my Path in recent years, though Dad still sends me those über-Christian emails.. Even though he was doing a kind of New Agey thing when he first got sober 13 years ago..

I find that you and Becky are united souls that you gather strength from your friendship with her. And what you lack in yourself self confidence at times you can find through her. You take confort in having her as a friend. We deal with many things in our lives and you feel secure that this friendship will help you though even the stressed, strange and difficult times.

This dream is a pretty simple interpretation to do it involves you and your family those who would rather you weren't of the craft and expects of the craft your father uses very well.
You have a desire to help your father understand you and you have picked very good chioces Astrology,Numerology these are all scienific studies. And something you feel you could have as a common ground for the two of you. I hope you reach that common ground with your father because it seems very important to you to have his approval.

Your doing well but may I suggest something? Learn from Jung what you wish but interpretate dreams as you would, you quote Jung's work but make that knowledge your own, I think you would do well..........

More real-life stuff:
Way back before i was born, my parents weren't religious at all. My dad says that he could read playing cards well, and Mom was into Transcendental Meditation. They grew Marijuana in flower pots in their yard... :D And then They Found Jesus.
My dad was a middle child. I think that I, as the oldest of his children, may have intimidated him. Mom says he treated me really badly back when I was little- my sister, the middle one, was his favorite. Mom recalls one time that he made me eat off the floor.. and we always had *several* dogs, so you can imagine how dirty the floor probably was. I don't remember this, I must've blocked it.
So yeah, the approval thing is probably there. :(
I don't really know what Dad was into when he got sober (I was 15 at the time). The most he let us in on was the incense and crystals. He took us to a rock shop and I asked the counter lady what the sign about "chakras" meant, and he flipped out, probably said it was evil... So I can't think he went any farther into New Agey- stuff than the crystals, if chakras were freaking him out..
To win my mom back, he started going back to church with her. And has since become "Mr. Christian". It's kinda funny, I always thought of my mom as the hardcore Christian, but she's really been opening up these days..
And I can't imagine finding common ground with Dad like that..
But you know? We're heading down to visit them this coming June and maybe I'll see if there's a Pagan event happening that I can convince them to come with me to. I'm not so good at talking, explaining myself, and I can't pull Bible verses out of a hat like my cousin can, to defend myself. My cousin (who performed my handfasting) was the one who calmed Dad down about the whole "pagan wedding" situation, using Bible verses and such to convince him that everything was kosher...
I don't know why I just blathered that all out... Oh well.
Thank you though. I suppose that was cathartic. :D

This helps me to understand why your subconscious is trying to find the answer for you. You seem to have a need to gain a stronger connection with your family and dad is going to be the hard one to gain with. I'd say your cousin might be a good one to have around and talk with about this explain that you want to find a common ground with him and you need some bible information. Angels are a great place to start people call on angels for many things and there are book out there that have ritals for calling angels for each individual task.:colorful:

Weell...
For one, they live in Oklahoma but Dad works nuclear and so is usually traveling all over the place. Today he's in Pennsylvania and his next outage is supposed to be in Texas- who knows where after that. I'll be lucky if he's actually in OK when we go to visit in June.
For two, Cousin lives in Alabama and though he's great with the bible quotes and logic arguments, he's known to be a little.. odd. Has made grandiose claims in the past that can't possibly be verified, and is a bit of a jerk when it comes to his ex and his eldest son (cousin is 11 yrs older than me, and his ex and their son are closer family than he is, at the moment). They (Mom, Dad & Cousin and his new wife & family) just all happened to be living up here in CT when the handfasting was happening, which is how he was able to talk Dad around then.
And for three, my family has never been big on angels. Have never attended churches where angels were a big thing, you know? So not only do I not have any connection to them, but talking about them with Dad wouldn't be much connection either. It's weird, I know he's been into New Agey stuff, why wouldn't he be the sympathetic one? Oh well. Maybe I can drag him to a rock shop or something. I know he still has some of his crystals floating around. Hrrmm...

hi, i'm searching the web looking for a forum were i can ask a second oppinion about my dream...
i live in belgium and i've expaned my dream already to my yoga teacher, we meditated about it and he told me an interesting solution. but i'm not realy sure about it cause i think it's pretty big... i'me having this dream a long time now, in the beginning it scared me, but now i thing of it as a message, i need to find out what i'm getting true.
i'm walking around in a building, ik don't know the building but i know the person i'm following. i can't help following him/her, it feels like i have to give him/her something very important he/she keeps walking ahead of me, and when i finally catch up with him/her, he/she looks at me, and i can see he's/she's scared. i force him/her to come nearer and than i bite him/her in his/her throat or nek. a huge hump of meat comes from his/her nek and i leave him/her dying in that building.
than i leave the building, go to a bar and i drink something. When i sit there, i can see that same person walking by, waving at me, and smiling.
my yoga teacher says that i don't kill that person but that i remove something bad that was stuck in his/her throat, so that they can breath more free.
i've dreamt this a lot of times, and each time it is a good friend, or someone i haven't seen in a long time. i realy want to know what this dream is because i feel that it's important. i hope that someone can tell me a bit more
sorry about the mistakes i made expaning my dream, my english is not that good but i hope someone can help me with this...

Ok, this is a weird dream I only had once as a child around 10 years old but I've always wondered about it, I dreamed that I was lying awake in bed, and when I cast my gaze down to the rest of my body, I found it was cut open so that you could see the bones, and instead of blood, there was this orange glowing light. any one care to interpret that? I mean does it mean anything special or have I always just been nutty?

Your doing well but may I suggest something? Learn from Jung what you wish but interpretate dreams as you would, you quote Jung's work but make that knowledge your own, I think you would do well..........
I to took psychology but I was the student that said Freud needed to sit not in the chair but be the one laying down!
Your off to a good start, I like what I'm ready. This is just a suggestion I hope to read more.
Excuse me?
w/e - you call it intuition, I call it information
Added: I'm not that much into psychology as I am into spiritual development. I'm not really into Freud's work - that's why I like Jungs work, and various versions of dream interpretation. When you say you're interpreting a dream here, and this is not to offend back or anything, you're using the same symbolic terms I use - if this was your personal practice forum or something...then fine, I won't post my attempt to help the cause.

Greetings glad you stopped in I actually find it interesting what your yoga teacher says dealing with the charkas. But I'll give you another view if you like. From what you have given me I get the feeling that you might be seeing this person at a time that surprises you unexpected like and being it's been a long time I can see why your surprised but these crazy things have been known to happen or even and energy flow crossing may have occured you both just may have been thinking about each other subconsciously and your energies crossed in the dream. Did you think about calling this person up? It would be funny if they said you know I just had the strangest dream about you.:colorful:

Isn't the objective of Dream Interpretation to help the individual who had the dream?
If there are masters in the field of such a study I feel it's more important to include their originality in my own attempts to de-fog the working truth underlying the dream. If this is about clairvoyance to you, then I'm sorry. Time is not much influence on my studies.
I merely seek to help, offer a second viewpoint - not rob you of your famous interpretation or what have you :bumpsmili

Since you're always chasing them, and not them chasing you, the "you" in your dream could be your conscious ego - and the thing you are chasing is could certainly be some part of yourself that frightens you. A friend in dreams that is the same sex as you can maybe symbolize your alter ego, or "shadow", which is made up of the parts of your personality that you have been neglecting.
Even though Autumn Clair seems against it, I'd like to again qoute Jung as he says, "The conscious ego cannot safely explore the deeper regions of the psyche without the shadow." In other words there is slim chancesof re-rooting oneself in the true centre of ones being without first acknowledging that there are aspects of one's personality other than those that one has allowed into one's conscious life (forgive all the one's).
Now on the other hand if the friend is of the opposite sex, they may represent the animus/anima. Perhaps a contrasexual element in your psyche. Biting is usually a symbol of aggressiveness. You might be expressing anger that arises out of repression. Perhaps you crave something in your outer life. Usually Drinking means your unconscious is offering you something which, if accepted, will improve the quality of your life.
Another translation of this dream might be the immediate, or perhaps near-future incidents related to individuals in your life who offer an appreciation for your kind words spoken one time or another, merely by thinking about it. Perhaps your teacher is on the ball about your dream if this is the case. For everyone you connect to - you may not always know when they are appreciating your contact, but they could be in times of stress, for example, and you may feel that in a wave of energy - or a dream in this case.
Two summaries:
#1: The internal work scenario involves finding out what these friends represent as your psyche's shadow. What kind of relationship did you have with them? Was there something neglected? Maybe it's what your subconscious is trying to tell you about yourself - a part that needs some aggressive help.
#2: The important part spiritually is that the Throat Chakra is specifically associated with expression. You clearly aggressively take the meaty chunk out of their throats when they are afraid of it. In doing so, you drink at the bar to celebrate another job well done as the friend passes by to acknowledge that you're still their friend. Essentially, keep up the good work! Surely if you're helping people to breathe spiritually, you're on a very noble path.
Bonus addition: The vampiric message seems prominent. Vampires, as commonly known, may choose to give their victims immortality (their curse). Perhaps you're getting annoyed with these people in your life, and wish for them to see the light you see. Or, maybe you have a passion for the vampire life? A hidden dark romantic part of you? If so, you should know you can't avoid it through any meditation. Try to acknowledge that part of you and have it grow in the fashion you choose for it, it is after all - a Part of You.

Back to the subject of the thread. Tell Us Your Dreams is a thread for people to come and get an interpretation of a dream or to ask questions of a dream your trying to interpret yourself. And the most important thing is you yourself are the best interpretor of your dreams. You'll find here myself who deals sometimes symbolically but mostly with psychic types of dreams and Mnemosyne who deal with the psychology and symbolical side of the dreams.
The thread has been going wonderfully and thank you all for coming in and sharing your dreams with us. I do ask though that new comers to Mw don't just jump in and start interpreting dreams unless it's your own. If you'd like to start interpreting here with us please contact me and we can work something out.
Here we try not to quote people because it takes away from the personal interpetation. We may however put a link in for you to view something that we find knowledgeable for you.
And now that it seems everything is caught up. Who will be next to Tell Us Your Dreams???:colorful:

Autumn Clair, you do not have the authority to dictate to people how they should post in this thread. Furthermore, there was nothing "unkind" about Ouroborous' statement that he doesn't care about Karma.
Keep the conversation on-topic (namely, DREAMS), or I will close it.

Mnemosyne Greetings I owe you a dream.
I had a nice dream last night. I was walking through the woods, I'm not sure where it was. I could hear the sticks cracking under my feet as I walked. The sun was shining bright but in rays thru the trees. I could hear birds but couln't see them. There was a little under brush of greenery even looked like a rasberry bush growing.
I sat down by the side of a lake and watched the fish in the water. They were those sunny fish. Just swimming around. There was a lot of people there now some saying hi and waving to me, kids playing and I remember thinking that's strange way would I be hear without my daughters it looked like sometime of gathering, food was on tables and stuff.
So what do you think Mnemosyne that's all I got I woke up.:colorful:

:D
I haven't used this mode in quite a while. I had several reports and some pm's regarding the state of this thread so I had a look. Whats ironic is that the misinterpretation of each other's post in an interpretation-based tread. Hah. Anyway, here is the scoop.
Ouroboros, you were given some advice in a friendly way. There was no need to be nasty about it or take it in any other way than a friendly piece of advice. It was given, either take it or leave it. No one was trying to insult you by giving you the advice.
Autumn Clair, this thread belongs to the community. As such, people are allowed the freedom to come in and give their views and interpretations. You may ask for people to step back and read the whole thread before responding or giving opinions, but you can't demand it. That would be a violation of someones right to post their opinion here and we all know that this is against what MW is about.
That all being said, this thread has some wonderful posts and it would be a shame to have it shut down because of some *misinterpretation* of each other. Keep it civil, folks.

That's a sweet dream, Autumn Clair. Maybe you had that particular dream because the seasons are about to change. The season of spring is filled with so many opportunities. We notice beauty around us that we may overlook in the humdrum months of winter. Your dream is telling you that you have a lot of beauty will enter your life. The beauty in your dream- the raspberry bush growing, the greenery, the sunshine, the fish, the gathering of people and food, and the chirping sound of birds. The sunshine is a clear sign. Usually when you walk in the forest, you mainly notice the trees and nature. You saw the lovely light. Light sometimes means knowledge. So if you have new ideas in the upcoming season, nurse them and make them grow like the plants around you. People will embrace your new ideas and want you to be a part of their lives- hence the reason why people were waving and greeting you. If new people enter your life, still focus lots of time on your daughters. I can tell that they mean the world to you since you thought that it was strange that they weren't in your dream.
Lots of love for you and your family. :colorful:
