So how was your imbolc? Any last minute unplanned occurances/disasters?

I discovered someone drank the last of the milk at the very last minute and all I had was 5-alive

Other than that all was good. I hope I picked the right room to leave a candle in the window and no one notices it.

mine was ok, i ended up doing it at night because my parents wanted to talk to me about the classes i'm taking next year (course selection is this week  ) and then somehow we ended up talking about the rest of my high school career... :hehehehe: but luckily they went out so i could take my time and not worry about them barging in...

I was going to go to a semi-public ritual, but it got cancelled because of ice. I find that somewhat ironic actually. But I lit bunches of candles and stuff by myself anyway.

I felt really terrible, because I couldnt find time to plan or celebrate it. One of my friends is going through a really rough time, and things have been a little busy since Yule, that I didnt get a proper chance to sit down, and plan anything.

I think I might do something at the end of the week though, to correspond with the Full Moon. I am sure The Gods wont mind that I am a few days late.

Hope everyone else had a good one though.

I didn't get a chance to celebrate it yesterday, but I'm doing so right now.=)

I apparently spoke too soon. My topic must have jinxed me. I ended up spilling wax on my arm, luckily the wax must have a high melting point because it solidified before I got burned. This morning my alarm went late and I ended up rushing around then noticed there was brightly coloured wax on my pants. I ironed most of it out before I left the house. Next time I won't speak too soon.

Oh and then I took down the paper Brigid's Cross I had hanging on the door of my locker. I forgot it at school though.

Well I was supposed to participate in an online ritual on the 1st but forgot. I didn't have a ritual planned for the second and didn't have time to make one in one day so I didn't do a ritual. I did lite some candles and clean the house a bit. Plus I'd done Imbolc meditations and read more about it during the past week. Personally I think it's more important to do a ritual for the solsitces and equinoxes, but that's just me.

Happy Imbolc Everyone.

It was amazing! The energy in my group's ritual was awesome, and emotions were high. This Imbolc was one I shall not soon forget.

I didn't do a formal ritual.. and I was alone (as most often) .. but I had a great time. I decorated my alter, after moving it into a new room. Perfect timing for new beginnings. :)

I had a very quiet private ritual..with the usual feline participation,..including a small tabby cat doing chin ups on the edge of the altar in the middle of my invoction ;)...I hope the Goddess doesn't mind an invocation that ended "The Lady is come, and Frodo!". As to "new begginings"..the last few days have been a bit "rough" and totally frustrating! Hope it isn't an indication of what the year holds!

See thats what I thought, so I wasnt too upset I'd missed it. It wasnt like Samhain or anything.

A few months ago, I was actually planning to re-initiate myself at Imbolc cos I heard its the perfect time to do it, but then I found out that this year theres going to be a Blue Moon and its going to be the most magickal night for the next 4 or 5yrs so I am planning to re-initiate then.
