New Moon in Cancer: the 13th New Moon
This is the Cancer New Moon, initiating a new phase of emotionally inspired activity. Whether you search for your roots, a new home, or decide to re-generate the one you live in, you can find appropriate ways to care for yourself and others, and watch out for quick-changing moods.

This is the second New Moon in Cancer this year and the 13th New Moon. The first New Moon in Cancer was on June 21, which was also a Solar Eclipse and the day of the Summer Solstice. So now we have a second, more *normal* New Moon in Cancer. This can give you an opportunity to get a second look at your past, your family (past and present), your conditioning, and your automatic responses to life today. How you deal with the public, your career, and your responsibilities now has everything to do with how your family nurtured your needs. It's not too early or too late to accept people (and yourself) for who they are so you can appreciate what you have in your relationships instead of feeling at a loss for what you don't have and closing down. If you're only pushing ahead to make progress in your career, and neglecting the human edge and the compassionate sensitivity, you may benefit from feeling your feelings and touching base, just one more time, with something deep inside.
