I'm just really anxious

This request isn't for much. I just am so worried about our financial situation. I won't get paid for two more weeks. and every bill we have is due right now. My husbands checking account just got overdrawn, and we may get the phone cut off.
Dec- Feb is always hard, because the colleges don't pay us adjuncts until after the 12 class drop date. So that is usually two months into the semester. Hubbys check goes to the car and insurance and that's about it. I could ask my mom, but they do so much for us.

I just need calming energy. Just not to get so tied up in knots until I get my check.

Well everyday that you see me online... say hooray, cause my phone is still on. :lol:

Thank you guys. I feel so guilty having problems when poor little babies are sick in the hospital, and member's husbands await heart transplants and all those other major things. I feel bad for asking for help.

Aw, honey you have no reason to feel that your problem is less important than anybody elses! Financial worry can eat you alive emotionally...

This is one situation that I can seriously feel - been there, done that, in spades! I can actually feel the worry you're going through right now because it's so familiar, and believe me: Your request is not trite in any way, shape, or form!

feeling better today. I got my income tax sent off so I should get that in a couple of weeks, but with my luck, something will be wrong and... any way.
Still two weeks till money... :P... so I just need to sit tight.

Oh Goddess Bless you. Such a relief, now I have to say good bye to one of my babies.. But I'll get her boxed up today.

also, remember when I said the phone might be cut off??? Well I had to borrow the money from my mom this morning to get it cut back on. But...it was a good thing cause I realized how much I can save by not having long distance. I have a cell phone. I'll just use that for LD. God when I think about all the money I wasted... paying for LD that I didn't use.. :rolleyes:

I don't really have a lot of energy to spare. Seems like one thing after another just keeps happening to zap what little I have
I hate even asking for help but Hoot made me see that everyone's problems are valid to them. So if I need help, I should ask for it.
This weekend, I strained my back helping my dad move a gas heater. Usually when I do this, I have to get a shot in my hip. Toradol (sp) or some other pain killer. But I really dont want another dr bill right now.
I get so disgusted sometimes, because I spent so much money on my education. Stayed in college for 7 years, two bachelors degrees and one masters degree. And I make so little. you know they tell you to go to college, to better your life,
To be fair, it is better. I am more "myself" than I was before. Self Confident. I loved college. I was 38 or 9 when I started, Loved the experience. And I am very proud of myself for doing it. I just wish the financial payoff was better.

My student loans have been deferred, not paid, deferred so many times, and now they are coming due again in March. I can't pay it. 350 dollars a month and I can't do it. I only make 1400 a month. And that is only 8 or 9 months out of the year. The other months I get zip. My mom says get a summer job. ...Dang it... I shouldn't have to!.. I didnt' go to college so I could work at Wal mart or McDonalds. !!
50 almost 51 years old and I have nothing as far as ... property, investments, retirement.
no security ( financial)... lots of love though. And that's good.
Well the Ibuprofen is kicking in and I've ranted too much anyway.
