Please help my family

My kids and i are going through a rough time at the moment. I have just come back from taking my cat to the vet as she has been hit by a car. The vet thinks she has broken back legs and chest trauma. There is also a hole in her belly just below her nipples that will need surgery.
If that is not enough, we were told that it looks like she may also have cancer!!!:sniffsnif
My kids are really upset, not to mention that i've been crying all day too. They don't understand fully what is going on right now.
I have no idea how i am going to pay for this as money is tight enough as it is. I am not coping well right now, my run of bad luck has to stop soon as i don't know how much longer i can deal with all of this.
Please, if you can muster up some energy and hurtle it our way (australia) i would be so grateful, my energy is so depleted at the moment just trying to hold myself together for my kids.

This is really hard to say- please don't take it in a mean sense- it is being written in the most loving way possible.
Please don't feel that you have to save your cat at all costs. It sounds as if she is in pain and if she has cancer, it will only become worse. As much as it hurts us, please consider the quality if life your cat will have.
Just so you know, I have had tomake this type of decision before and my brother just recently had to do this for his cat as well.
Sometimes the greatest gift is not what we want.

At any rate, now that I am completely emotional about your cat... *sad smile*
I will send as much energy as I can, as much healing to all of you in hopes that you all will be healed.

Pouring energy your way with all my heart. Do you have anything like the PDSA (People's Dispensary for Sick Animals) that we have in Britain? They will look after sick/injured animals for nothing/much reduced costs if you can prove that you are on low income, I had a similar money worry with my own poorly kitty a while back.
Lady Bast look over her and let the universe work to the best benefit of your child.

I have just spoken to the vet and Snuggles has a fractured pelvis. There is no chest trauma and looks like there is NO CANCER!!!!!! But we will know more tomorrow.
There is a slight chance that she may need surgery but the vet said that snugs will most likely get better with rest and some TLC.

So i send a big hug of thanks to all and i'm sure my cat is very thankful as well.
