The best book is A Witches Bible, by Janet and Stewart Farrar. It tells you the Sabats and give you the complete outline of the witches practice as a religion. Now you must remember there is a difference between Practicing Religion and Magical Practice religiously. meaning, you do not have to follow it exactly. Believe what you want, and follow the theories and outlined rituals to create your own magic. You will never be wrong. If it works, then keep doing it, if it don't then try it another way. And always remember, witch craft is the worship of a Goddess, and puts Women first. I've seen it work. However, Silver Ravenwolf has a few that are good, as does Scott Cunningham. I've read a large majority of them, including Uncle Buckies,(Raymond Buckland) The complete book of witchcraft. They all say the same thing, The Farrar's say it most eloquently. Witchcraft is more than getting to watch women dance around naked. Anything that distracts from the purpose of the circle should not be followed until you are able to focus on the magick.
