Playing Cards

I wasn't sure where to put this, Tarot or Divination, but i chose here...I decided I was going to use playing cards instead of tarot for various reasons, but I've been reading and it says I should shuffle them and hold them alot to get my energy...infused (I guess?) into them. So could I play a game of solitaire with them?

Hmmm, I am not sure it would hurt.... but, I would rather just look at them and get the feel and shuffle, shuffle and shuffle some more
