Cat Dreams

Ever since my cat died over a year ago, I've been having occasional dreams about her. At first I thought that she was just visiting me to let me know that she was ok, but they've starting having themes where I'll find her, and realize that I'd forgotten all about her, even though I hadn't in real life. What could this mean? I tried to meditate on her, to try and visit her, but it didn't work. That may have been due to my pretty bad meditation skills, or could it have to do with her only visiting me?

When you're dreaming, you conscious mind subsides and your subconscious mind steps forward....so it's easier for your kitty to visit you in dreams. However, if you're dreaming that you've forgotten about her, then it could also be some fear issues you still have to deal with. Pregnant women often have dreams of losing their baby or forgetting it somewhere. It's just our fears coming out in our dreams.
