I was completely relaxed and my eyes were glazed on my candle, when I heard a voice. I immediatly recognized it as my grandmother's, she simply said hello and then left. My cd then started to skip so I got up to turn it off... just after I stood up, my candle's flame rose about and inch and died down quickly... eventually burning itself out. I thought this very odd considering it was a brand new candle. Then I sat back down, and relit my candle... It just kept going out... so I got another candle and the same thing happend! Is this some sort of sign? I'm not sure how to interprete this.... Help! :colorful:

I am a great believer in signs. I have personally have had experiences like this in my past, and you would be surprised as to how many of us do get visited by our loved ones.
I feel your grandmother was letting you know she was alright in the afterlife. Perhaps you should attempt another meditation to thank her for her visit and speak with her a little. :)

I think it is very likely that your grandmother said hello to you. It's amazing what the senses can pick up when their in a relaxed state. I think Raihn's suggesstion was great....ask her to stay and chat. Just relax your mind...don't "try" to hear anything or focus on anything. She may try to communicate to you telepathically....so listen with your mind :)
I have no idea about the candle thingy  altho I suppose she could have been doing it, or her energy in the room could have snuffed it....

I've had this type of thing happen with me, only with living people. One instance I can really think of is I was on a plane, and I heard my sister say my name. It was so clear and distinct that I was sure she had to be on the plane. Only not possible, I just left her on the ground. I think it really just comes down to that when we love people so much, our souls become connected.
