This is for a friend of mine.

She's had this re-occuring dream-aspect three times now since this January. The dreams are all different, but there are three dogs that keep showing up.

In the first dream, they were chasing/following her. She doesn't remember if they attacked her in this dream. In the second dream, they were attacking a fawn (she has strong connections to Deer). She tried to help the fawn, and then they attacked her. In the third dream, she was hiding in a cage from them. A man was holding one of the dogs on a leash, but she couldn't see his face. The dogs didn't get through the cage, they just appeared in there with her and then they attacked her.

There is something very wrong with the appearance of the dogs. There is something slightly 'off' about each one. One has a strangely square face, as deep as it is broad. That one is the larget and has a reddish hue. One is really skinny, as if it had shepard in it and is a variant of different shades of black. The third is very dark, almost totally black. Their appearance doesn't come across as 'bad', just not right. They are black and dark, dark brown. Attitude wise, they are bad. Not just feral, but absolutely malicious.

My friend is a massive animal lover and very much not afraid of dogs at all, so these ones are weirding her out.

Any ideas?

Yep. What three people in her life that she is close to does she perceive are attacking her? Or else what three problems are on her mind most of the time?

Poor WolfMoon's friend. I will try my best to help.

Now, dogs are the symbols of loyalty and friendship in dreams. Also, they can represent the feeling of trust. What I find most interesting is that these dogs are acting, in some ways, (for example; the way in which they attack the deer) like wolves. Because of this, I am betting the dream has something to do with honor. Over all, this whole dream sounds like the fear of a broken friendship.

Your friend, you said, has a connection with deer, in which the dogs attack. I feel that this deer is the symbol of a close relationship. Has she recently lost touch with someone close to her or is she very, very shy? I just am repeatedly getting the feeling that this has something to do with another person she is incredibly close to. I believe she is afraid of losing someone (or possibly even something) very dear to her heart.

It seems as though her trust is wavering, judging by the odd actions of this dogs.

To bring the dream to a literal light, the dogs,(bizarre looking as they are) representing trust and friendship, attack a deer, symbolizing a relationship. Your friend does her best to save this deer, (the relationship) but the whole situation turns on her. The cage she hides in is very simply her fear, I believe...and the man holding the dog on the leash is an extension of that fear. The dogs, immune to the protective cage she is in, attack her despite her best efforts to hide.

Again, I strongly feel this is a dream about stress and fear towards a relationship.

I hope this may help her and you in some way. :hugz:
