View Full Version : How to I control Intuition?

I dont even know if its Intuition.. Or Psychic abilities..
I just know that I think of things and then they happen..

No no, you dont have to run away or pretend to be my friend, so i wont think about something bad happening to you, so it may happen...

Its like this, you know how in "Charmed" Phoebe touches something and then she somehow gets a vision regarding the object she touched?
Well, its like that for me, except without the - "oh ill touch this object and lets see what vision it gives me"..
These are random visions or thoughts that just pop into my head about a person or about a situation - and then it happens.

examples -

~ Just this morning, I was thinking of my dad (hes on business in the US now), and I just got the vision of him calling me from the airport (cause he was flying from North Carolina to NYC today), to say hi.
And he did that EXACTLY, he called me up as he was waiting to board the plane.

~ At school, I can KNOW when the teacher is going to call on me and ask me a question. I just know a few minutes before they call on me that - "Oh, after asking this question, they'll call on ME to answer". This can be out of a class of 10 people or 100 people.

~ Phone calls - I can often guess who is calling or who is just about to call my cell or the house.

~ I think of someone and then they call or I randomly bump into them in the street.

~ Back in high school, one morning before gym class, on my way to school I got a vision of my gym teacher in bed with a bandage around his knee - that same day when I got to gym class turns out that my gym teacher fell off a latter and hurt his knee, and he had knee surgery.

Theres more stuff like this.
My question is - How the heck do I learn to control this? Or at least develop it to a level where I'll know when my thoughts are just random regular thoughts, as to when they are intuition thoughts of things that are coming.

thanks!

Natural human intuition. I believe everyone has it...they just do not know how to get in touch with it. It isn't a sort of, "Ooo, I have mystical powers, bubble gum, boy band," situation...it is a common, almost everyday occurance. Most people have at least some small sense of personal intuition, and focusing on it can be a rewarding, but sometimes difficult, experience. And though I do not believe in the ability to, by choice or training, predict global events, I do strongly trust that personal premonitions are very real. The subconscious is, perhaps, the most powerful element the body contains besides the soul.

You, Morr, have a natural flow of energy that allows your intuition to peek through in your life. The best thing I can suggest is, as always, meditation. Meditation on the thoughts of this can bring a more focused and balanced view, and may even allow you to expect when you will sense things, rather than being surprised by them.

When you meditate, think on how your energy flows in and out as you breathe...think on how you feel when you sense who is on the other line of the ringing phone...things of this personal nature. A few minutes a day can really expand your mind and help your intuition grow to become more a teacher rather than a tool.

Morr! You are so impatient! Perhaps you might be a part of something already that will help you do that . . .

hummmmm possibly!

 well today's incident just got me totally pissed - this has been happening WAY too often then I'd like, sometimes I'm scared to think, becasue in the past I've gotten the feeling/vision of a suicide bombing coming up here in Israel - and that same day it HAS happened..
I sometimes feel like I'm at fault.. which I know I'm not.. but still!

Rahin, thanks so much for the advice :)

Morr,

The same things you discribed in your post happen to me on a regular basis as well. Although I can't give you any tips on controlling it. My intuition always surprises me. Although lately I've been doing quite a bit of research on the topic. So any interesting information I'll send your way. :)

You may want to look more into Psychometry (http://freespace.virgin.net/russel.steward/psychome.htm) which is reading objects by touch. Here is another link (http://www.crystalinks.com/psychometry.html)
