Insane movie dreams....

My husband borrowed the third Matrix movie last night. I hadn't got to see it yet (long story...) so he thought he'd be nice. I was exhausted from work and being sick (ugh... flu...) so I was half out of it while watching the movie. It was right before bed so I pretty much passed out as soon as the movie was over. Big mistake... I spent the night tossing, turning and waking up to freaky dreams... In one I was Neo (I'm a chick here... freaky to dream about being a man...) then in another I was Trinity.... then Morpheus... then Smith.... man they were some crazy dreams...

That's why I tend to not watch an horror movies before going to sleep. If I watch something before falling asleep I dream about that movie in a strange way.

Ah, watching movies when suffering with the flu. The result is usually very vivid, disturbing and/or over all bizarre dreams. This is often the result of the mind simply being over worked, and expressing the body's stress at trying to fight off the illness.

Also, fevered dreams are not unlike those of medicated dreams. They usually are an exaggeration of an internal message, most often having to do with the stress of the sickness itself. Some of my most favorite dreams are those had after a complex movie plot plus three over-the-counter drugs and one very bad cold or flu. :)

i watched the same movie before bed, i had some weird matrix dreams last night myself. though i must say i enjoyed my dream.
