I just heard my mom has been admitted to the hospital.
In a couple of days, she'll be getting a triple by-pass!!! :yikes:

I hate the fact I'm so far away to visit. (over 500 miles)
So if you can spare some energy for her, I'd realy appreciate it.

Well here's an update.
I just got off the phone with my mom.
She seems to be doing ok! :D

She is complaining about how bland her food tastes. :lol:
They have moved her surgery to Wednesday.
But other than that she's doing good.

They don't want her leaving the hospital so she's really bored.
She told me when she called for her breakfast they say, "welcome to room service" !! :lol:

It was good to hear her voice and see that she is ok.

I haven't been able to be on so much lately and I'm missing so much........

I get all worked up today worried about my mom.
They rescheduled the surgery for tomorrow(Thursday)

I call my sister to see how things are and left a message.
We go out to drop something off at my mother in-law's house.
We get back an hour later and the caller ID says my sister's name on it.

So I freak, grab the phone and start dialing.
I dialed the wrong number like 3 times! (what a surprise) :crazyman:

I finally get the number right and my sister answered.
She tells me about the doctor having not enough staff to cover the floor.
I was a little angry, then I understand what he meant.

So now I get to worry all over again tomorrow. :(

I'm not sure if I should be laughing or crying for getting so bent out of shape. :geez:

:hugz: I know how you are feeling. You and your mom are in my thoughts and prayers. If you need anything I am here. May not be much but I have been threw the same thing 3 times. Mom had 5 art. bypass a couple of years ago right before I moved to Ne and then she had 2 more surgerys while I lived out there because of complications from the first. I was 1300 miles away knowing there was nothing I could do.

Healing energies for your mom and calming energies for you on the way from me. My dad had bypass heart surgery 10 years ago, they put in a part that was only supposed to last 5 years. Way to go Dad! Meanwhile my ex had a minor heart attack a few months after my dad's surgery, had angioplasty, and died 10 years later from a major heart attack. Seems like it's better to get the surgery, eh?

Maybe I jumped up too soon.
I found out the other day that my mom is having a real hard time breathing. :yikes:
She told me that she tried to go to the bathroom and had a hard time just getting to toilet!!

She is going to a 'breathing rehab', whatever the hell that is.
I know things will more than likely be fine.
That doesn't stop me from worrying about her.

Hmmm, I've never heard of breathing rehab. I'm assuming that she is being seen by her doctor pretty often during this stage of recovery and that the shortness of breath isn't a huge concern. Still, I'm sending more healing energy for her to make the best recovery possible.

Breathing rehab is just to help her learn how to control her breathing and to make it easier to breath. My mom has had to do this.

I hope that everything goes well for her. You two are in my thoughts and prayers. :hugz:
