i have these 2 dreams, theyre often separated by years, and theyre both slightly different every time.
the first one begins with me on the ground outside surrounded by what seems to be a desert of yellow sands, and im crawling up a small hill, its about a metre and a half high, and it takes me a long time to get over this hill, and on the top of this small hill on my RHS are a couple of palm trees and the same on my left. eventually, i get to the top of the hill, and i stand up, and about 5 metres in front of me away from the top of the hill is the shore of a very shallow sea or lake with very light blue waters with small waves in them, the lake or sea seems to extend forever. and in the sand, about 2 metres in front of me, there is a big ring buried in the sand with carvings on the front, i cant remember what they are of. the ring is about 60cm in diameter and has a band that is about 10cm thick. the first time i saw this ring thing it was black with several large flat oval shaped blue-grey-blue (mostly blue, but a little grey) gems in it, about the size of a very large chicken egg. the second time i saw it, it was made entirely out of gold with no gems.
the second dream is alot more difficult, i only remember three parts of it and they occur about the end of the dream. im with a group of people, there are only 2-3 guys including myself and there are about 5 girls. we all look very young, only about 15 or 16 but im certain that we're alot older because there is a very wise and very sensual-bordering-on-adult mood within the group. both the guys and the girls wear very flowing clothing, the girls are in various greens, pinks and blues (decorated with very minute jewels of the same colour of the fabric they are set in), and the guys are in greens and blues and greys, and as crazy as it sounds, theres a very elven feel to the people in the group, slightly less rosey skinned than is normal and reasonably well tanned but not rosey, perfectly formed and extremely attractive, but in a slightly noticeably feminine way. anyway, the group is laughing and running through a wood/forest. the forest itself is not overly dense, with gaps of about one or two metres between trees, and its quite misty and wet and green. the trunks of all the trees are a dark brown almost black colour and the canopies are all green, with leaves starting about 2 metres above the ground. oh, its nighttime too, and the ground is a patchwork of brown dead material and green ferns and small scrub. yeah, and we're laughing and running, and we run over a grey-blue stream over a well kept, tan wooden bridge. over the bridge, we keep running on a little further, its not urgent running but there is definitely the feel of a time limit, albeit an expansive limit i.e. we have more than enough time to do whatever it is we are doing. if i remember correctly, there is some kind of telepathy or communication of thought between all members of the group and theres an immense feeling of brotherhood and blood-ties and comradery. anyway, a short time after this bridge (the bridge is very short, its only about a metre across, the stream is not very wide) theres a clearing where there are no more trees but there is a small expanse of ferns followed by a river, and across this river is an inn, its not at all modern, constructed of the same tan wood that the bridge/crossing was made out of, and there is a ramp that leads up to the entrance of the inn, which has reasonably ornate windows of clear glass that are set with lines (at the top and bottom) of gems.
AARGH! very very tired at this point, i'll return tomorrow to post the rest of this dream (note to self, things to remember; room, inn, clearing). in the meantime, anyone have any ideas what any of this could mean? and i know its a long shot, but anyone have any similar experiences? even if you have no idea what it means, what do you think, whats your opinion?
