Tonight is the Memorial Remembrence Day Eve, and tomorrow is the Remembrence Day out here in Israel for all the Soldiers who fell in Israel's wars along the years, as well as all the victims of the suicide bombings & terror attacks. My friend died a year ago in a suicide bombing. Seeing her picture in the newspaper today (they had photos of all 960 civillians who died in the past 3 years during the current "palastinian intifada" from suicide bomgings and such) really shook me up.
Also, yesterday I found out that a guy I knew (he wasnt my friend, but he was my friends' good friend and I've hung out with him several times this past summer, when I was in the US) has died in Iraq.
Please - Light a Remembrence candle for all of those who have died and are dying in these pointless wars that revolve around religion & land, that seem to forget that the true meaning of religion and faith is the sanctity of life & love of all God's children.
