:D
PB's taking his annual Physical test today. If anyone can spare him some energy so he does really well on his run, we'd appreciate it. He's been training hard, but occasionally his reflux acts up and ruins his time.
Thanks!

**Smiles**
I run in an hour, but barring any serious complications, I've passed my test for the year. Here's my score breakdown:
Abdominal Circumference: 32" (30 / 30 pts)
Push-ups: 27 (7.4 / 10 pts)
Crunches: 54 (10 / 10 pts)
My fastest 1.5 mile run ever was 13:09, which would give me 36 points out of a possible 50. But even at a slow jog, I should be able to finish the course in about 15:00, which would still yield me 30 points. So, my total fitness score should be somewhere between 77 and 83. **Smiles** The minimum required to pass for the entire 12-month period is 75.
So the pressure's off, but I'm still going to do my best! :D

Umm, the horrible danger would be what my First Sergeant would do to me if I failed!

Here's the result of my run:
I ran the course in an amazing 12:31! That's 38 seconds better than my previous best, and it counts 37.5 points out of a possible 50, which puts my final score at 84.9.
That blows away the 75 I needed to pass, and is a tenth of a point short of 85, which would have resulted in me receiving a fitness coin. I may still, if the powers that be decide to round up that tenth of a point. . . ;) but I won't hold my breath. I got what I had to get, and then some!
If I can get the same results on next year's test, though, they'll be worth an 86.5 (because I'll have hit 30). :D So here's hoping!

All this bird talk has me alternating between wanting to run around flapping my arms and cawing, and wanting to sing "WE LOVE YOU CONRAD, OH YES WE DOOOO, WE LOVE YOU CONRAD, AND WE'LL BE TRUE..."
The person who can guess why I'd think of the latter gets karma, karma, karma. :D
Oh, yes. Nice going, Phoenix!
