View Full Version : Random moments of divination

I've avoided posting this for fear of sounding as if my head's way up in the clouds... but my curiosity has gotten the better of me.

At random moments of the day I'll daydream (normal enough :hehehehe: ), but then my thoughts will sudden drift to a completely unrelated event. Most of the time it's insignificant things, but around a week ago I was in the car with a friend. All of a sudden I imagined the car running off the road and crashing into an upcoming pole... of course, we passed it just fine. :) But no more than a minute later, we came onto the scene of an accident where a car had run off the road and totaled itself with another car. It wasn't in anyway related to a pole, but still unnerved me.

It's just been little coincidences like that. Knowing what strangers say before they say it, a person's actions, etc. I don't really believe in seeing the future (or the supernatural, for that matter) and just deny it when it happens, but the car thing scared me since it's never been anything that serious. When it happens it's usually something insignificant, and never exactly what happens but close enough to unnerve me. I can't control it or bring it on in anyway--in fact, when I try to think about it or concentrate on it, it either disappears or doesn't come. That's what's led me to believe it's nothing but coincidences and me being silly.

Is there anyway to keep them from happening, by any chance? :( Again, I don't want to sound like a fruit loop, but it's risen from a hardly note-worthy level to unnerving. I also have no luck with magic or spells of any kind, so I suppose I'm looking for a method of meditating... or something. Just whatever will make them leave me alone. If it's just a matter of right-thought-right-time there's nothing I can do, but just in case.

(Can you tell I feel stupid asking this yet? )
