A Sad Sad day

This afternoon three police officers to present an arrest warrant to a man for domestic assault. Sadly when they arrived they were guned down by an ak47. There ages were 51, 34, and 21. I would just like for everyone to send their prayers out to the families of these men, who gave their life doing their civic duty. To loose your father a few days before father's day must be extremely hard, not to mention the grief the family is going through at the moment. So just keep these families in your prayers and thoughts if you will

This really disturbed me, too, turtlerain. I work with someone who's dating a Birmingham Police Officer and as she is on vacation there is no way of knowing if he was one of the four officers involved, though they have released the names.

This is so sad. Something I find almost as sad is the fact that I am not surprised. ::sigh:: The world seems to be getting so much worse.

And there are those who wonder why I say I hate people (Okay, so I don't hate EVERYone.)
