I just heard that one of my co-workers was in a car accident last night, and that things don't look too good. She was driving up to Vail, Colorado to pick up her twin sons (not even two years old), and that's as much as I know. That's as much as any of us know. She was taken to the emergency room and they say it doesn't look good. There are only about 12 of us in this office so we're all fairly close, but she's been giving me all sorts of insider tips in trying to get a permanent job here. She's been the one person who's given me more responsibility than anyone else, entrusting me with her reports, trying to actually train me for a permanent position.

I have alot of moral issues with asking for healing energy for someone without their consent, so I don't even know what I'm asking for. Just for her to be in thoughts, prayers, whatever. She's been a good friend to me here, and is a beloved wife and mother of two boys. Anything helps... thanks.

Talk about quick!! Not even an hour later, and we just got word that she's going to be alright and might even go home today. I can't even begin to express my joy at this news, and my thanks to everyone who responded so fast.

You people are the bestest. :hugz:

Wow... this story only gets more interesting!

So we found out about the car accident this morning from my co-worker's husband. He called my boss, because he got a phone call that he needed to get there quick because it didn't look good. Apparently, a semi truck had lost it's load and my co-worker got caught in it.

My boss was on her way to the hospital when there was another phone call - this one saying that not only was she alright, but she just had a few bruises, no broken bones, and the only thing she'd experience was soreness for a few days. Obviously, the husband is a bit choked up, and intends on finding out why there were such conflicting phone calls. However, all of us in the office are breathing a sigh of relief. It was all a false alarm, thank the gods! But I still thank each and every one of you who took time to read this and respond. :hugz:
