Hi all,

GaiaDea is undergoing an emergency colecystectomy (gall bladder removal) tomorrow morning. Any postive energies are appreciated.

I am gonna print this out and take it with me to the hospital when I head back in a few minutes...

(Our daughter and I "slept" there, so I had to bring her home so she could take a nap.)

GaiaDea was discharged today at about 1300. All in all, things went well.

Hopefully in a day or so she will be able to give her thanks to everyone herself!

I am up and about, although a bit sore. I truly appreciate all the energy sent, and I know it helped keep things from being worse!

Update:

Wednesday I am going to the surgeon's office to have the staples removed. I am nervous about it, but it will be good to have them out--they itch! Anyway, I'll post after I get home.

Good luck! Doesn't it always seem a little funny to have been "stapled together"? How are you doing otherwise?
