My co-worker had a massive stroke on Wed evening. By midnight she slipped into a coma.
After a rollercoast of the doctors saying thinhs look bad/ok, we have been told that they are not detecting a lot of brain activity. Her brain stem is almost gone.
Right now her husband is getting their 2 children to bring to the hospital. While they have not said they are taking her off the machines, the outlook does not appear to be good.
She is 37 and her boys are 8 & 3.
She, her family and her friends could use energy.
