I have a few ideas on what I'm doing, but I was wondering what other people were doing. Any inspirations, rituals, music, baking, etc. are welcome. This is a place for anything from ideas to fully thought out rituals.

if i can i might make bread, if not i'll have lunch outside to connect more with the earth. I can't exactly do a ritual because of limited space, supplies and a family that always peeks in.

I know that feeling.

I'll probably do something similar to what you're doing, but I will definately bake some kind of bread... and not that bread machine stuff.

Well since it's the start of the harvest season, a really simple idea is to go somewhere that you can pick apples or berries. Some of the Celtic tribes believed that the land spirits (or more specifically in Irish tradition the Fomori) allowed us to harvest of the land for only a short period. Once it was Samhain anything unharvested is left for them. This includes anything growing wild, such as berries. My family and I plan on going somewhere, such as one of those pick your own berry/fruit/vegetable farms and spend the day "harvesting."

I'll be making blackberry scones, with blackberries from the garden! And I'll probably be doing a simple sort of ritual out in the woods somewhere too.

As usual I will be hosting a get together for Pagans in the area. This will, no doubt, involve much eating. I'm going to keep the food harvest oriented - lots of fruits, veggies and bread (sadly, no sour gummi worms... awww).

I will probably set aside some time to go hike outdoors. I try to spend some time in the wilderness to take notice of the changes in nature on each of the holidays. Maybe I can convince my husband to go with me... we both need the excersize.

i will be attending a handfasting with my Priestess on the Olympic Penninsula... Lammas and a Blue Moon!
unfortunately, the Dragonfly has to work, so this will be the first sabbat we've ever spent apart (out of hundreds!). that didn't occur to me when i first made the plans, and i'm kinda bummed about it. :(
so we sort of did an impromptu ritual yesterday, when we went to the local 'U Pick' farm and picked blueberries and peaches. blueberries and ice cream last night, blueberry soup tonight!!! ahhh yes, the harvest is a good time!

but the group i'll be with this weekend in Washington is very cool, and i enjoy making magick with them. so i guess i'm reluctantly looking forward to it (does that make sense? ).

and happy Lammas everyone!

I want to make bread, but I am no good at that. So I was thinking of making some corn muffins or maybe a pound cake, lol. If the weather is nice I'm going to have lunch on the beach. Hopefully my boyfriend will be joining me for a ritual and dinner but I'm not sure.

Well this is my 1st Lammas but I'm keeping it simple. I don't know how to make breads but I did make biscuits for breakfast. I will give one as an offering.

Well I'm making a feast for my coven. Black beans and rice, tortilla chips, corn on the cob, lemon pie. Lots of grains and first fruits involved. I can't make bread because I don't currently have an oven. (I need to get a bread machine!). For ritual we are using mini blueberry muffins and pomegranate juice to remind us that Persephone's journey is about to begin.

We are going to make corn dollies with the corn husks and I plan on reading some of the mythology to the kids :)
