I've been learning about Kabbalah for the past year... and following the path (of the old and sacred, NOT the new and trendy). I'm am trying to learn Hebrew and am finding it quite difficult.... if anyone can help, please contact me.

Your best bet is to find a LIBERAL synagogue (reformed or reconstructionist) that offers Hebrew lessons. Some colleges offer courses, but a synagogue is probably your best bet.

I agree with Ben.
Either way, you can always PM me with questions.. I speak/read/write fluently in Hebrew (modern) and I'm pretty good at the Older form of the Hebrew language (Bible Hebrew and some Arameic).

BBWhat is so trendy about Kabbalah? I've been interested in it for sometime now, before I even knew Madonna was interested...lol http://www.ancient-hebrew.org/20_home.html There's my reference....I tried to copy and paste everything because I had it saved but alas, it didn't work....

I have some software I got when I was very interested in Judaism. Picked it up for only 10 bucks I think.

Was it worth the time/money involved? I'm usually leary of language instruction software - it's so focused on tourist speaking and often doesn't teach a lick of formal grammar or structure - so I usually walk right past them when I see them.
Granted, finding a decent book from which to learn Hebrew's non-trivial too. I want to pick up one Semitic language or another at some point...
