The Study of Spirits

I am interested in teaching a class on a subject that I have studied for many years; spirits. In the class, I would like to explore the nature of what spirits truly are, and uncover the reality of "ghosts", natural energies and "recordings". Here, we would also take a spiritualistic look upon the psyche of death and the conciousness thereafter, focusing on the happenings of the soul.

She's right here :fpoke: - she's saying that it isn't about shielding or communication, oobe or energy work in general. It's about actual spirits, and she's saying possibly about communicating or contacting them, depending on where the class goes and how everyone seems to be doing. But it isn't really about the idea of seances or spirit guides. More about the actual spirits themselves.

Oh, I got that it isn't about spirit guides. I just...tend to have a knack for seeing/sensing them and I need to work on my shielding(and communication), so I thought I'd ask :) thanks!

Ah, yes Sapphiresphinx, the class may brush upon the subject of communcation with spirits (judging by way of progress), though, if you are interested, I can personally help anyone with specific interests within the class.

It is wonderful to see people interested in the course idea! As soon as I have a finished outline of the course, I will submit it to Morr. I am excited to share my personal knowledge of spirits with others and a class setting would be a great experience for each of us. :)

Here I go again:

Spirits are souls on the other side who for whatever reasons, have no physical bodies.

When we "see" spirits, they appear to us in a form that we can understand such as a human or animal.

They are, in truth, little balls of energy. They look like distant stars.

The Highest and Best are the Spirit Guides, teachers, specialists, etc.

Passed over relatives are more likely to be on the Astral Plane.

What we call "Ghosts" are earth-bound spirits. They are caught between the worlds. Many do not even know that they no longer have physical bodies. Many have either died of some sort of trauma, or feel that they are needed on the physical plane. Others simply refuse to let go of the physical world.

Ghosts haunt places, not people. To them, the world is as it was before they died. They usually are unaware of those of us still in physical bodies. However, sometimes they do see us and are spooked by us as we are spooked by them. Others see our light and are attracted to it for some reason.

Ya know, I don't think this is going to happen. The person who started this thread has not been online since Oct. 2nd. Unless someone else would consider teaching it I think we're out of luck. Its a shame too, I was looking for to it.
