I'm working on the Bookmobile today :) and had some time to kill, so I sat down with a book called "Herbal Remedies for Dummies"
I know, I know. I blasted an Idiot's Guide to Wicca in another thread... but I think this is different!
Anyhow, it looks like a decent reference book for beginners to look through. While I might not recommend buying it, it could be worth it to check out from the library or to spend some quality time with at a bookshop.
It give the basics on purchasing herbs and herbal supplements, growing your own, etc. There are recipes, and a small section with drawings of some herbs with thier various names, qualities, uses, etc. There is a good amount of good information.
