I found this today: http://www.all-home-decorating.com/seasonal3.shtml

I think I'll try some of those things soon. :)

I go all out for Autumn decorating .. as much as I do for Yule, if not moreso. I'll post pictures when I can get some.

I'd like to get something more for outside though, as it looks rather plain right now. It's too warm still to put out any pumpkins or gourds or anything. I'm thinking about getting a small hay-bale to put them on .. but not sure. I plan to make something of an out-of-doors shrine when I do decide what's going out tehre .. as it'll stay up until after the first of December likely.

I try to decorate for the season. I have different fruit bowls for autumn and the rest of the year (still haven't collected spring and summer platters), I have autumn decorations but in summer, I prefer to leave things sparse and clutter free. For Yule, I go all out.

I'd eventually like to have the space in which to have a room that changes with the seasons...not all colors will go with my decor/style of furniture, so I have to pick and choose. Our Yule ornaments/decorations are all in the ivory, gold, burgundy/red range, my autumn decorations stick with the rusts and oranges that match those spots in the furniture.

I'm Michael's Crafts favorite customer, I think. I spend SO much money there. I would like, however, to find a source of silk flowers, etc., that are NOT made in China or so forth (prefer to buy American), so if anybody knows of any--let me know.
