Saw something

I:m lying on the floor of my bedroom, listening to a book on tape about enlightenment(sp) and how not to think, I've been working on that for awhile with little success. I'm listening to the second cd on my walkman with my eyes closed. I am not thinking. For over a minute, I did not think, I can't recalon my another time like it.

I Hear two taps, like a drum stick hitting a coke can or a trash can from outside my head phones. I open my eye and I see a black fuzz crawling up the side of my dresser. I can't make out it's features with my eyes, in my mind it looks like a large round mouse or a very small raccoon. With my eye I can see it limbs though, how they move back and forth as it climbs the side of my furiture. For a moments I am frieghtend. And then fear left and I only watched. It reached the lip at the top of the drawers and vanished.....

Sorry about the future/past/present speak, it doesn't really.............there isn't one at the moment..........

Do you have a little voice recorder??? If so try asking questions and pause and have the recorder on and see what you come up with..

I used to feel the same way when people said things like this. When something is hard, taking practice and training you are always much more prepared, even if you don't "feel" that way when you are put in a position that requires it's use. I've used the prhase "Naked in a gun fight" to descripe this before. There's bullets flying everywhere but you're to busy thinking about your nakedness to notice them let alone bother to do something.

EDIT: But anyway. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THAT WAS? It's not in my book of faries/deamons ect so I'm out of ideas. A fox iis my spirit animal and it wasn't a fox. I don't know...........At first I thought it was a spider being that there are many in my house (no webs for some reason though) but gee wilikers batman...............

It moved like a spider...........No it didn't frighten in how it looked or moved it was very small. It frightened my by the fact that it was there.
