Since the Secondary Progressed Moon moves the fastest among all the chart (Luminary) elements, its influence can be somewhat limited, in scope and duration, lasting only for a few months at the most, during its approach to the next progressed planet. That some years the Secondary Moon is more influential than in others, depending on where the accent falls within the chart. (Determining this "accent" will be discussed in later lesson). However, the following are typical delineations of the progressed Moon to the other progressed and/or natal planets.

Moon to Mercury: That there is a reason ,or perhaps only a notion, to put all that is important to the individual to writing or records. This is a time for composing of various sorts and committing to record all that one has learned or experienced in life. Portends a time of making wills, and legacies, or anything else that one wants to preserve through documenation.

Moon to Venus: This contact for the progressed Moon portends a time of lonliness, seeking a love or intimate friendship. It may come about through the events that are beyond the person's control, the breakup of a family, the death of a parent or dear friend, or one becoming aware that inimate friendship or that even a marriage partner, has escaped the life of an individual. This need for such an intimate association is more pronounced in a man's chart than in a womans. In a woman's chart, it probably indicates a time of being conscious of her beauty and a need to present herself to the world with more desirabilty not only in appearances but also in mannerisms. However, the need for intimate friendship is a common factor to either gender.

Moon to Mars: In a man's chart this configuration indicates a time of stress, irritation, and general dissatisfaction with life. Sometimes, through circumstances beyond one's control, there is presented a need to endure some situation that can cause irritability, or the necessity to perform some disagreeabe work. In any case, the configuration always indicates a need to be involved with a project that is undesirable, and is otherwise, at any other time, to be left alone. In a woman's chart it portends a time of lonliness for a mate or to alleviate some irritable situation through the establishing a friendship with the opposite sex. In either case, the root problem associated with the configuration is dissatisfaction, and stress.

Moon to Jupiter: portends a time of satisfaction through the achieving of some goal or the good fortune of acquisition. That one has a fortunate set of circumstances that insures the sustenence of their necessities, sometimes received through a gift or through the bestowal of a unearned gratuity. This confuguration is fortunate for establishing one's path in life or the building of a situation that can be relied upon for future gain.

Moon to Saturn: Portends a time in life that usually marks the end of a life-style, or a manner of living. For example, it could be associated with the immediate post-graduation period for a student or some other such event , where the usual living standard is abruptly altered, or it comes to an end due to confronting a different set of cirumstances in life. A time of lonliness and possible disorientation due to having to change one's living habits. The individual, due to changes in sociological situations, will have to establish a new way of life. May also be associated with losing a job or profession due to a set of conditions not of one's own choice.
