Christmas Decoration Pictures

Well, I was hoping I could get everyone to post pictures of their Christmas/Yule tree. However, in taking a picture of mine, I realize that Christmas tree's don't photograph so well :lol: If you notice mine....the top is all bunched up and isn't decorated...thats because no one can reach the top....even with a stepstool....so it looks kind of silly :rotfl:
Anyway....here is mine. I put tons of stuff out for the holidays. I have stuffed santa's in every room, twinkling lights, a Christmas music box collection, and tons of other stuff. These pictures are of my family room and my living room.

Nice looking house, btw! And cool tree. I posted some pics in another thread, but here they are again--and will get more of the foyer and the rest of the house and our Yule party this weekend.

I'm about to start finishing the decorating tonight...bought some more green garland to wrap the lights in (I hate the look of plain light cords hanging around the walls).

I need lights this year--LOTS of lights--LOTS of sparklies!

Why thank you! And it's driving me nuts that I can't get my blinkie smilies even. Do you know how long it takes us to decorate the tree? LOL....I'm always tweaking it.

This is my first year in a house so I don't have any decorations. I went out and bought a bit of garland with lights and some pointsettas and stockings for the mantle but that's all I have. We'll be getting our tree this weekend, I think, so I'll take pictures when that's up. (If I remember to buy new batteries for the camera).

Hi Amethyst...all our decorations have built up over the years--that's kind of nice, you know? Each year, add a few more (and get rid of some of the really old ones that are pretty shabby if they aren't sentimental). I went all out this year and bought quite a few more decorations because I just need the sparklies. Will be adding more pictures soon, been decorating some more.

I am such a decorating fiend during Yule. It makes up for the gloom here, you know? With SAD, the bright lights and sparkles help my mood pick up.

Oooo me to Yaz....I just love all the twinkling lights and the festiveness of it. Especially when it's 80 degrees outside and muggy :(....Its the only way to make it feel like Christmas.

Pretty.... My parents celebrate Christmas and so we decerate each year. I will place up pictures when we putt up the tree this weekend at my other house. (I live in an apartment but neither of my room mates like holidays). Anyway I am hoping my digi cam will work so I can upload them. :smile:
