my grandmother needs your thoughts

Today, my grandmother had an accident while driving to morning mass. She slammed the car into a fence. Not much damage to the car or the fence, but she's in the ER and they just admitted her because they think she had a stroke while driving. She's 81. My dad's been with her there all day. I don't know anything more than that, or even how serious it was, but I would still appreciate any thoughts you guys could send her way.

Update:
It's not looking too good. My grandmother still hasn't regained consciousness since the accident. All the family and friends are going to visit in the hospital. I don't want to lose hope, but it's looking very grim and the doctors say chances are slim that she'll recover.

My grandmother passed away last night, a few minutes before midnight. My father didn't want to tell me and my brother sooner because he feared it would take away from our performance in school today. He just left. On the positive side, she never regained consciousness, which means she felt no pain. And it was relatively quick, so she didn't spend months in the hospital, slowing dying bit by bit. In that respect, I'm glad. Any thoughts you could possibly send her way just to wish her an easy passage into the summerland (or heaven, as she was devoutly Christian and would accept no other place for her spirit to rest) would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your kind thoughts and hope these past few days.
