how do you send energy?

I put intense thought into the other persons need...if the need is strong enough...I actually become that other person for a split second....than I light a candle for them.

i send them blessings a bit like a prayer or i will light a candle, whatever i feel the need is....i know original wacky uses her cauldron...everyone does it different

I focus my thoughts toward whomever is asking for energy and/or send it through prayer.

For me it depends on what type of energy I am sending and why. I can go from the smaller things where I just concentrate a bit on the person, to the biggest things, where I do full blown ritual using my cauldron. At times I simply light a candle (especially for a passing or more lasting energy effects). When I answer that someone is going into the cauldron, what I do is use a piece of paper and write their name, and drop it into the cauldron. Since I do something with it almost every night, it's got energy flowing in and out all the time.

I focus on that person and their need and wrap them in golden light (or green if it's prosperity oriented) and wish them as much good fortune as possible. If, like now, I'm too exhausted to do much since I've got so many problems on the home front to expend energy on, I just say a prayer to the universe for them.

I also focus on the person and imagine my energies wrapping around them like arms hugging and comforting and depending on the issue I vary visualization of the colors enveloping them as the energy. I also work with candles and concentrate on the person who is in need and what the issue is and envision it being worked out. I also do different prayers for different situations and sometimes ceremonies if the issue warrents that. It really depends on the need. If it is someone in real life , I literally lay hands on them for healing.Sometimes they just need their aura cleansed etc etc.There have been times I have had to take some journeys thru meditation for others to help them.

I think that this queenorivers wants to have it explained in simple terms how to do it. One of my teachers said, "Energy follows intent." By that he meant that your thoughts send energy where you want it to go. If you are with the person, healing energy is easiest done by touching them. I think that we are all assuming that you want to know about healing, but the principle is the same regardless of the intent. Visualize your power or energy flowing from your hands into the other person's body. Become very conscious of their body, feel where there might be weaknesses or differences in their energy and send to those areas. Visualizing or using imagination is how you begin, but through practice you will find that it isn't imaginary. You will likely get feedback from them saying that they feel something different, warmth, or some other sensation. Then you will know that it has an objective reality. You can add colour or loving thoughts or anything else once you get the hang of it.
That is when you are in the physical presence of the receiving person. But you can send energy to someone who isn't in the same room. Again, it is visualization, but it is harder to do because you can't see or touch them. You have to have some way of making a connection. If you know them personally, then this isn't a big problem. Youu just bring up an image of them. But when sending to someone whom youu don't know, you must find some way of connecting to them. You can do it over the phone and use their voice as the connection point. Even in a chat where it is typing the chat it isn't hard. If you don't know them at all, you either have to have some very personalized information such as a birthdate or exact location, or a picture to establish the connection. Pictures work pretty well. Generally in thses situations, they have requested you to send them energy so you can get them to cooperate enough to send a birthdate or a picture or whatever.
