This is going to probably sound really weird, but I gotta ask. Has anyone flet they were living a different life in their dreams, or maybe visiting a certain place over and over again in dreams?? I always go to the same places in my dreams, the same beach by the ocean, the huge house down the sandhill and along the breaking waves, the same roads that I drive along, the same stores I go to, the same everything. Only they are nothing I have come across in real life. There are certain people, too, that are the same, and in these dreams, I seem to have memories of past times here, some of them are other dreams. Goodness, I realixe this sounds funny. LOL. I don't know what to think about it. It is just strange. I have other dreams, too, of course. These do no happen all night every night, but at least one dream a night, at least every other night, they do. I just wondered if this is normal, or what? Everyone I talk to and ask that I know cannot ever remember their dreams. I however remember most of mine. Perhaps cuz I sleep so lightly? LOL. Anyway, any info or suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I very often dream of the same place in my dreams. There is this huge appartment that I keep seeing. It's apparently mine in the dreams but I've never seen it before in this life. Sometimes the details change like some furniture or the way the windows are placed. It's really weird.

Yeah, I've had the same experience. I remember having a dream every single night of the same guy over and over for about 6 or 7years, then it just stopped.

I dreamed that I was in a polyamorous relationship in an apartment that I have never been to. I am not polyamorous in fact I am very very single

while this may sound obvious, maybe this room is trying to tell you something. you also might want to check out something about past lives. it's kind of a long shot, but maybe if you remember this so clearly you lived there at some point.-seeker

i now a person who had a life in her dreams, she was never sure which life was real though.
She hurt herself in this life, it didnt affect her there, she hurt herself here, it didnt affect her there.

I feel your dream is a recalling of a past life. You left something unfinished. Your dream is giving you the chance to discover what you did not complete so you can complete it this life time.

I don't think that's so strange. I thought everybody had dreams like that. It *is* strange, fascinating, and you describe it better than I probably could. It often seems that when I have certain dreams they're just continuations of dreams I had even months or years earlier... the same places, the same people, which aren't part of my waking life. I wish I could remember some of these places or people, but I can't at all... but I recognise it when it happens!

I think that it may be a past life rememberance. I've been having dreams like that too, except mine are far more unpleasant (dreaming of the burning times and being burned :( ) . I feel this is a remeberance of a previous life/death that's being triggered through my present life for some reason. Don't feel like it's silly... it makes perfect sense to dream about a another life.

I've had series of dreams like you describe. But they are taking place in current modern time, so I do not think they had to do with past lives. I really enjoyed them, my dream life was very different from my waking life, and it was fun to have two sets of friends, and to be able to leave a set of problems behind for at least part of the time.
I have not had any for a few years now.
