My pendulum's actually working for me?!

I've never had ANY luck with my pendulum. After reading Morrigan's post, I decided to pick mine up and play with it. It worked, and it was easy, and fun. :)

I heard someone say that pendulums work much better when you cleanse and charge them. I'd never tried that before, because I never thought that had anything to do with how pendulums work. (I always thought it was pure physics -- slight muscle movements moving the pendulum -- but now I'm not so sure).

I used to have trouble getting my pendulum to move at all. I could barely discern movement, but this time, it moved quickly and willingly. The answers came easily. This time, when I asked questions, I could actually see the bob vibrate on the end of the chain. That had never happened before!

So, should pendulums be cleansed and charged before use, or was this just a coincidence? What are your thoughts? How do they work?

I think you were just in the right "mood" for it. Sometimes when I try to use mine it will just not move at all, no matter what pendulum I use (I've got 3 different ones). And other times it swings like there's no tomorrow! *LOL* :)

I would clease and charge just because I am one of those types who are paranoid of negative energies hanging around from the past and I definetly feel like it clears your mind and puts you in the mood or mind set.

That's great that the pendulum is working for you.
I haven't used mine in so long. I cleansed it and it chucked a hissy fit with me. The vibrations were all wrong, so i put it away until i can figure out what went wrong.

Use your instincts with cleansing, if it feels like it needs a cleansing then do one.
