Is there anyone here who can be talking to someone on the internet and suddenly have a "vision" about them? Are there internet Psychics?Does anyone believe this can happen? I'm curious because I'm looking for one. Some part of me thinks it's impossible, but another part of me wants to believe that there is a connection between people online, and that it's possible. What do you think? Can you help?

ooo. We were having a discussion about Being a "techno psychic", on another forum. I'm not sure if teh term techno psychic is actually used, we just used it. I don't believe it's possible, maybe if there was a strong connection between the two people off of the interenet.

VERY possible, I have had alot of experiences on the internet. Including reading their mind, reading tarot for them and being very accurate, and other interesting little things.

I believe so. I've had some connections much to my own surprise.
You may also want to do some research into psychotronics.

People claim to do this on the phone. What's the difference between the phone and the internet..? Probably not much.

I'd say it's possible... but I think that such a connection has to be 'built up' a bit first. I know some people who have online friends and start to be able to read them really well...
But then again I've had some amazing reading from people right here at MW who I've rarely talked to, so maybe it's just a matter of how well-developed someone's intuition/psychic side is... though I must say I'd choose an 'amateur' here on MW over a $3.95 a minute 'professional' any day... :)

Do you mind if I ask from whome? I'm really really interested in this. A lot of things that I've been told during readings by seperate people have been consistant and I'm starting to compile the things that are repeated. My mom says I'm too obsessed with other people's take of my life and the future of my life and that I should live for the now, but I really like geting the perspective of the reader, and it isn't that I don't want to live in the now, it's just that I'm very interested in possible futures.

I've done it a few times, but with no control over it, same as when I do it to people face to face.

Yes, this phenominon is VERY possible, and for good reason. Indulge me a moment if you will, okay/
When you are channeling another person, or some other entity, what exactly is going on? Some think it is a reading of theor energy signatures, or their aura if you will.. So basically, when you are getting empathic feelings from someone else, it means you are picking up on their energies, right? Theoretically speaking of course.
So, if what we are doing when channeling, or empating someone else is picing up on their energies, it is completely possible that you can also "send" these energies, or pick them up through the use of a computer. The person you are speaking with, they are touching the keyboard, and the keyboard is transmitting the proper energies to type the correct letters on the screen for someone a thousand miles away to read, almost instantaneously. Donlt you suppose that while they are depressing that key, and the electric charge is sending the alpabetical information, some of their own personal energies could not be sent out along with it? Following the same conduits and channels as the electricity that connects us all through the internet?
Of course, I am speaing on this all on a theoretical basis. I am not a mathemetician, or an electrical engineer... but it does kind of make sense, eh?
All I know is that I have effectively channeled and read MANY people whom I have never met face to face, and whos only connection has been through the internet. And some of the experiences have been almost life altering, and extremely vivid. So my oppinion, and my experience, say that yes, it is almost assured that there are such things as "internet psychics" ...

I totally believe that you can feel someone's emotions via the internet I have felt it many times myself and I also do get the visions that you are speaking of and it can be very very intense.

When I do it, the connection is made through the shuffling of the cards, when I ask them to tell me when to stop, they are basically making a concious connection with me. I think of it as an astral call on the psychic internet. Another way is to look at everyone as being in the same place on the astral plane, its just a matter of figuring who is calling. You make those connections every time you talk to someone on chat.
However I do believe this only really holds true for readings done on real time chat and not over a email or msg board. I dunno how you would connect then.

What if one of those $3.95 a minute professionals did readings for free here as well?
Ok, so I've never charged $3.95 a minute. $1.99, yes, but never more than that.....
It's been ages since I've read online, but I'm thinking of starting up again. As I feel better, I'm opening up more again.
Reading online... yes, it's possible to get a strong and very accurate connection. Pop into the Tarot forum and ask anyone there about the readings they've gotten from me or from anyone else here.
It depends on who is doing the reading. Offline or online, if the person has no ability, then it's not going to make a hoot of difference.

i absolutely believe that it is possible. i often feel very tied to someone when i use this form of communication. i think that it can be even stronger when you are using some type of im program. you have an active portal open between you.
but i would caution about putting too much stock in anything an 'internet psychic' had to tell you. just because it's possible doesnt' mean they aren't a charlatan.

ANYONE who makes claim to be a psychic could be a charlatan... Not just an internet reader. Look at Miss Cleo... heh heh. The idea is something possible, and I for one HAVE felt it, have done it, and have very very accurately *connected* with people. Am I a charlatan? Nah... and I do not ever request someone PAY me for a reading either. Do I do this for just anyone? No, not that either... unless I am totally compelled to resond to someone, I do not. Because there are WAY too many people who refuse to hear what you are seeing because it is not what they were hoping to hear... until I get to know someone, and I am able to judge how soundly they will take my advice, or how well recieved my reading of them will be, I just stay away from it.
*IF* it is real, you will know it. You will be unable to comprehend just HOW accurate it is. You will not have a doubt in your mind. If any of the three statements do not ring true... either you are in denial, or you have not been truley read for.
