Our local Reclaiming group did this during a workshop, & it's powerful stuff.
One person relates their dream. Everyone else in the group then considers the dream as though it had been theirs - and they respond to it in that way. So, for instance, in the dream I told them about, I saw a bomb on a cruise ship that was hidden behind a bicycle wheel. I went to tell someone about it, but I saw another bicycle wheel on my way, & seeing that wheel made me think of the other wheel, & making that connection in my mind caused the bomb to detonate & the ship to explode. Among the responses:
"In my dream, I wonder what's concealed behind something that wouldn't actually cover it, and why I'm the only one who sees it."
and
"In my dream, I wonder what it is I know that's going to blow everyone out of the water."
It was an amazing experience. Having people who are at a remove from your dream but taking it on as their own creates this wonderful state of group near-trance in which everyone was sort of...dreaming together. And it gave me tremendous insights into my dream - since then, whenever I've had a dream I don't understand, I try to look at it as someone else taking it on as their own! :wtf:
I wanted to share this with people here, both to encourage you to take it to your covens/circles/groups/whatevers, & to see if anyone else had experience with it.
That's all!
Peace, love, & flaming Viking longboats,
