Well my bedroom is a wreck. Litterally. See the main problem is, that I have no room. My room is a box. Being only 3.6m x 2.51m well there aint much room to play with once you counter in a King Single bed, a bedside table and 3 chest of drawers. True I could do with only one chest of drawers, but the other two are mainly for storage, and counter space.
One set of drawers acts as a book case, and my tv sits on top of it, while the other houses my altar supplies, and my altar is on top.
Any ideas, besides the normal use of storage boxes ... I suppose the one advantage to all this is I'll probably be moving by March.

If you have a closet, you can always put more shelves in the closet, and if you don't you can run a shelf around the top of the celing with just enough space to fill it with nice plastic storage boxes. I also put the metal things over every door that has hangers, and one door has a shoe rack on the back of it. Sometimes the best thing to do is to weed out your clothes what doesn't fit, you don't like, etc. I put storage boxes under my bed too. Always remember though to put the things you use alot in the storage that is easy to get to, and the things you use less can go in less convient places, like up high on a shelf or in a closet.

Thanks. I think its probably time I sort out the top of my closet. And maybe high time I got rid of the shoes I haven't worn in years. Thinking about all this is making me cringe.

depending on what you have on the various walls and how much money you have to work with/what you are storing etc, one idea is to lay down some tracking along one wall, maybe a foot or so out into the room, hang doors like the ones the Japanese use or whatever you can find that looks nice and is affordable, and viola, instant storage space for books etc that can be closed off and not make the room look cluttered. This is very useful if you have lots of books and can put them all up inside on small shelves and then you won't need a bulky chest of drawers taking up soooo much floor space.
