View Full Version : Strange occurence in our beds

Ok, don't tell my roommate that I'm posting this, but I'm doing it anyway.
We live in one of those huge apartment complexes, and since we moved in we've noticed little things that always appear out of the corner of our eye. Usually it's in the form of a small/medium sized animal, but sometimes it's bigger. The kitchenette area has this strange feeling when you are in it, almost like someone is watching you. In my room I'm always having stuff dissapear, especially when we first moved in. They usually come back, but always in the weirdest spots. Well, about a month ago my roommate told me about something that happened to her in bed. She was laying there, half in half out of sleep but fully aware of everything, and she felt something above her. Usually she never sleeps on her back, but she was this time. The thing pressed down on her for the length of her body. She felt it place it's hands over hers, then slowly touch her thighs. The thing tried to move into a place it shouldn't, then she kind of jolted herself out of her trance. When she told me about this she was really freaked out, and I had no idea what to tell her.
Last week, something strange, but not that strange happened to me while I was sleeping. I went to sleep, but I woke up in the same position I fell alsleep in. I usually wake up on my side or stomach, but I woke up on my back. I noticed that my sleep shirt was off of my body, and I know I didn't take it off. My left arm was still through the arm hole. I remembered that I didn't feel very rested and that I had some bizarre dreams, but I can't remember them for the life of me. I've never taken my clothes off in my sleep before, and I can't imagine why I would start now, especially since my room gets cold at night.
Has anyone here ever had an experience simillar to either of these? Both of us are really creeped out by this, but our cats seem to enjoy the little ones. They are always playing chase with the "air."

those are some perverted molesting ghosts. I dont know what to say about that, but i'd certainly freak out if some unseen force was trying to have sex with me. *shudder*.
try smudging for the time being, I'd say.

I've had that feeling of "something" pressing down on me when I was half-asleep once or twice. I wasn't scared and "it" didn't do anything inapropriate, just pressed down on my chest and stomach area. I just asked it to go away and it did. :whatmewor

Yes, it sounds like you need to do some home cleansing and protection magick. Smudging is a good way to do it.
This website (http://www.ghoststudy.com/new6/article_submissions/cleansing.htm) explains how to do a smudging to get rid of unwelcome spirits or ghosts in your home.
The also have a whole list of different cleansing, purification, and banishing rituals at this website. (http://groups.msn.com/PaganHearthRecipes/cleansing.msnw)
Let us know how it works out!

Once again, i must introduce myself as "the roomate" hehe.
Lemme put my side in my own words to maybe clarify a bit. I was half asleep, half awake, and started feeling like someone was going where it shouldnt, very lightly. And yes, i was on my back, and i NEVER sleep on my back nor wake up on my back, its not comfortable.
I didnt wake up, i was, like i said, half asleep but still fully aware of what was around me. Then I felt like someones hands were on mine, and (it) slowly closed my hands into fists, but not roughly, very gently actually. I then, while my hands were still closed and held gently shut, started to feel yet again something touching a place it shouldnt. i didnt wake up, but i could still, in a trancelike state, see that there was absolutely nothing near me, because my eyes were slightly open while this was going on. Then, what actually woke me up all the way was i started to feel something POUNDING on me, not IN me, but pretty much on my pelvic bone right above. I woke up startled because it actually started to hurt. the second i woke up, everything stopped, and i immediately felt alone. like whatever was there just vanished, I didnt sense any sort of prescence or anything.
Very strange. I dont know what to think of it.

See what happens when I try to retell a story...I screw it all up. Ah well, I guess I didn't mess it up that badly though. _inabox_
I want to try smudging, but when I used my smudge stick for my tarot cards, people said it smelled like marijuana...in the main hallway. The last thing we need is for management to come in and see that we have over our maximum for cats. Is there any other type of something that doesn't smell so illegal?

Heh. The title sent some kinky thoughts through my head.
Sounds like that part from "Scary Movie 2".
I know little in the way of dealing with such a situation...perhaps mention(when it happens) to go to some address(retirement home) "for a good time".

Well I would try dragons blood seems to be good for cleansing. Also Angelica oil in water (super expensive though >.<) Ceder is good to burn I've found. Also putting rock salt in the corners of rooms or sage in corners. I used to go through a do a ritual while taking salt water and spattering it on the walls cieling and floor of every room. I've often asked the spirits of purifying plants to help me as well.
I'd type more, but I gotta run!

Not to discout any paranormal activity, but have you looked into sleep paralysis? I myself have this and it can often be brought on by stress, such as moving for instance. Many people who have had sleep paralysis episodes see something above them, or feel as though they are being touched. I myself have felt that a few times, although usually my episodes consist of just a stuck feeling like I can't move my body. When I was younger I was sure I was being possessed, until one day I stumbled upon a site about sleep paralysis, and it sounded exactly like what I had been going through. Although I think there is a scientific explanation for the sleep paralysis I often wonder how suseptible I am to outside forces when I am in this state. Although I know what it is I still am not confortable with the episodes I have. About 95% of the time I do have an episode I am on my back. I try very hard not to sleep on my back, but sometimes I just end up that way.

I have experienced sleep paralysis many times. It's a weird feeling trying to get out of it.

I had a perverted ghost. The guy in the apartment above me had died a week or so prior. I was sitting at the computer and I felt a hand on my thigh and then venturing where it shouldn't go. He would also pick up my ponytail and tickle my neck with it. I'd also get creeped out in the shower. Finally, I was making out with my then-bf... the ghost poked me in the side. I got pissed and yelled at him. My bf thought I was nuts. But he knocked it off after I yelled at him. I'd do a loud cleansing and banishing if I were you. :)

I think you should do some kind of cleansing ritual..Tell whatever is there to leave in peace...
I also had an episode of sleep paralysis when I was younger and it was a very strange feeling.. :shift:

I had something like that happen. I could accutally see it though, just a hand, tickeling where it shoulden't be. Supprisingly enough my dog helped me get it to go away for the moment.
A few nights later the thing was holding me down, a MUCH different feeling then sleep paralysis. Very scary. Once again the dog came to my rescue.
An old friend of mine helped me get rid of it, we did a spirit realeasement.
I suggest you get rid of it.

Not to heighten your level of anxiety or anything but are you aware of the case of the Entity?

If it isn't a ghost, some people are talented enough to be able to do an astral projection.... similar things have happend to me as well.

Hmmmm, strange indeed. I don't think this prescense wants to harm either of you, nor make you feel scared of it. I trust cats instincts because usually they're very good judges of souls. I would suggest trying to talk to it.
